Food was delicious!!
Quality service! It wasn't an excellent place to catch up with old friend. Easy parking as well.
Food was great. Perfect place for a family dinner.
It was amazing, all my friends and I had such a great time here. The food was tasty and clearly made with love and our server was so nice and sweet. I would certainly recommend to everyone, 5 star rating from me.
The menu is good here, atmosphere is nice and it's well located. The one issue I had on my last visit was the pace of service - it was really slow. Took a while for a server to greet us and even though we ordered at that time, it took a long while for our food to arrive as well. Once there, it was, as usual, rather good! I had the burger and it was cooked to perfection. They also have a kale salad I really like, but went for the fries this time.
Even though I had made a reservations for 8:30pm and the restaurant closes at 10:00pm when I arrived it was closed. Very unprofessional
I can't say enough great things about Rock N' Fish. The bar service was okay but the Staff in the restaurant was fantastic. Mike, our waiter, was attentive, helpful and really personable. The manager and the rest of the staff always made sure we had what we needed and let us staff a bit past closing. I also highly recommend it for larger parties like we had. Great restaurant and helpful, nice staff.
Service was excellent and the quality of the food was very good.
We were very pleased with everything.
The restaurant it self was good. Loved the scenery and decore. Although opentable. They did not text me other than the welcome text, in regards to letting me know if and when my table would be ready.
I walked in and I was seated.
You will not be disappointed! Amazing food and fantastic service!
Amazing Macadamian Mahi fish
Great food and service!
Great venue for our family lunch celebration after my sons graduation from CSULA 🎓👍🎉
Pre concert so very loud but food is always amazing!
Service a bit slow but they were very very busy. I would go again
Our reservation was for 6:45, they got us to our table at 6:40 on a very busy night, great job guys
We had a reservation at 6:00 PM. We arrived at 5:30 and they were able to take us early. Beware that there is a 2-hour maximum and Im sure it is strictly enforced on busy nights. Our waiter was great. Our food was good, not great but good. I got a lobster tail, steak , mash potatoes and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were hard and not very flavorful. Ambiance was good, very noisy but as expected. It was nice to be able to make a reservation b/c the Yard House wouldnt take reservations. There are only 2 womens bathroom stalls. There was a country western concert at Staples so the line of girls in their cowboy hats and boots was long. A restaurant that big and two stalls, not cool. It was definitely hitting the "easy button" the location is perfect and being able to make a reservation was a huge plus. You might just wait until you get into the Staples center to use the bathroom :)
I was paying the bill and they forgot my food. Once it arrived it was excellent
Our waiter was great at first when we were seated but after the other tables filled up he was unable to be attentive, too many tables.
Water glasses were not refilled even after it was requested, , drink order not completed and silverware had to be requested after the food was delivered as they were not replaced after the appetizers were cleared.
The appetizers and dinner was excellent though just the service not enough waiter staff.
Eduardo was awesome! I would definitely recommend.
We all enjoyed our meal, 5 adult , 1 youth, and 1 child. Arrived on time and was seated immediately.
Made reservation week ahead of time and they made us sit outside
This is a fish place and if you are at LA Live and want fish--this is a good place to go. Would avoid getting "meal salads" as these are nothing special. Reception staff are friendly but when busy, wait staff may be overtaxed for number of patrons. As a result, service can at times appear to be slow. Cost of meal is high.
It’s a great place to dine when you’re near Staples Center. Service was excellent. And we got seated right away upon arrival with our reservations.
GREAT SOUTHERN FOOD!!! LOVED THE LOCATION AND VIBE!!
Food was awesome an best desert i ever Had!
I was set back by how the wait staff handle our table. The food was late at coming out and it was done a couple plates at a time. It was poor timing. One order wasn't complete and we asked were was it, she got her grilled Asparagus near the the end of everyone finishing
Pre concert dining.
I loved this restaurant. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The salmon and brussel sprouts were amazing. Service was well-timed and friendly.
Good atmosphere. Great food at an affordable price.
We had great drinks and a great meal with friends before our show at the Microsoft Theater. Third time at this restaurant and it never disappoints!
Quick trip to LA... found the place on the OT app. We chose to eat outside but might have preferred inside atmosphere better.
Food was quite good but what stood out was the Jambalaya. Slight twist on the standard Cajun dish, but really knocked my socks off. A meal I will remember for a long time. Added to that, our server, ROBERT, was fantastic. He was attentive, personable, and engaging. His attention to our table was vigilant. It’s hard to find that perfect kind of service, and it truly made the dining experience. Want to return and try the Cioppino... looks just as promising.
I found it indiscusting that the waiter already choosed the tip, he made it 22%, and as i asked him, he Said, i already made it, or did you want to give less!!!!!!!!
Our server was amazing! He was friendly and helpful with the menu. I couldn’t choose between two entrees and I let him surprise me and it was wonderful.
Good food at fairly reasonable price. Went here before seeing a concert at LA Live and would go back again if the opportunity presents.
The food has always been consistently great here. A reservation was made requesting on outside table....the hostess said they would “try to accommodate us” and we were asked to go stand by one area to be called. Several minutes (15) went by while others were seated before us (most of them seemed to be walked in). We went back to the hostess to get a status and she said “oh, we forgot about you”....
What is the purpose of a reservation system if this is how it is handled. There was no apology given just a “we can seat you now” and it was inside
The schezuan green beans spicy mac n cheeses and kona pie were amazing. The drinks were strong and the waiter knew how to answer all our questons. The only negative was not enough bathrooms . S stalls is not enough for a place that busy.
The prices are too high. They charge $2.00 for bread, and added a charge for blue cheese crumbles on the wedge salad. All wedge salads come with blue cheese and this was a $18.00 salad. That was outrageous. It is so noisy inside you can't hold a conversation. They didn't bring the condiments with the meal and they were requested three times. The service was horrible. It has gone way down hill!
Great place to eat before an event at Staples Center. The rating reflected the poor timing of the food delivery. We got one of our two appetizers. Then the salad came out the same time as our main course. Mixed drinks were very sweet. Stick with beer or wine.
