Service was great and the food was amazing! The drinks and guacamole off the chart!
Food was very average, especially for the price.
This is a good place for groups but it did get louder as it got later. Most of our party liked the their food but a couple of us thought it was just mediocre. Our service was fine except it took a bit longer for drinks - I don't think they were prepared for the 7pm rush coming from the conference next door.
Always a great time at this place and the Dine LA Special was on point !!
It was awesome. The staff was very flexible and very accommodating when we had to add more people to our party. Def will recommend and be back.
It was my first time eating at this location in 4 years. I really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the salmon with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. It was light, fresh, and delicious.
Great food, fun hang out prior to the Kings games.
Everything tasted great, as usual. Love the rock n roll room. Great place to go before a Kings game.
The only disappointment was that we couldn’t pay through OpenTable anymore, but other than that, good job.
Our go to before a game...love the convenience of it all, plus the yummy food and good service. Can't go wrong!!
The primary value that you get at this restaurant is location. It is at the L.A. Live center across from Staples Center. Went there for early dinner and was disappointed in the food. I ordered the blackened salmon sandwich and the fish portion was small. My daughter ordered the fried fish sandwich and it was bland. The clam chowder was probably the highlight and the calamari was good. I would not return as a first choice.
We Sat inside. Ordered Fish special and salmon sandwich. Only complaint is bun should have been seared on the inside. Bun was cold too soft and absorbed fish juices
Great food in great location. Service fast and friendly
Always our favorite place when we go to Staples Center.
Great fish tacos
Place is a go to when we are in the area. This time the food disappointed a little. The lobster was well undercooked and not up to par. Mentioned it to waiter but he was not very interested. Other than that, it’s a always fresh and a good ambiance.
Atmosphere was lively... food was good, not great for the price. Service was acceptable.
Service was excellent, good food
We shared an artichokes which was deliciousand had burgers that were delicious.
Very busy bar and we did have have wine tooo!
Definitely a happening place with good food
The steak I had was was average at best at an above average price.
Busy night b4 Laker game.
GREAT place to go pregame, appetizers were awesome
This is a better than average place to enjoy a meal before a game. Lots of options for every kind of eater. Particularly enjoyed the fish and chips and the popcorn shrimp. I must say, they have one of the better coleslaws I’ve tasted.
Food was outstanding!!!! We had reservations for lunch and came at a good time. It was just a few other guests there. Only problem was we waited over an hour to get our meal. I love ROCK’N FISH and have been here several times. Never had to wait this long for a meal.
Wasn’t great, wasn’t horrible. Average at best. Wouldn’t go back!
Honestly I wasn’t overly impressed. Food prices were high for what you got and the quality. I don’t think I would go back unless they were the only ones with openings at LA Live.
Noise level is loud. Fish and chips - excellent! Service was great. Clam chowder consistency is too thick and very expensive - $15 a bowl! Enjoyed the bread pudding as well but make sure and split it bc it's too much for 1 person.
Overall the meal was very good. The prices are sky-high for appetizers and desserts. As restaurants continue to increase prices to support rising labor costs thanks to CA liberals --- tipping should be reduced.
Excellent service and excellent food. Have never been disappointed. Have been there 3 times in 4 months
Food was better than fair and portion was good. I ordered the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp which wasnt BBQ but the sweet and hot flavor was delicious
The Lemon drop martini with Grey Goose was Awesome so much so I ordered two!!!
This was a perfect place to dine with friends before our concert
Only complaint service was slow but we allowed plenty of time to make our event on time
The atmosphere of the dining room was "cold" as were the sides of the food. Food - steak and lobster - was ok, not more. Outback or Longhorn are much better in my opinion.
Food was cold
Place is very overrated
I ordered the “fish of the day” from the “Oakwood Grill” section of the menu. I was told it was going to be halibut served over Chard. Yum, I thought. What I got was breaded, pan sautéed mush over puried tomatoes. Silly me for thinking that fish under the grill section of the menu would be grilled.
We never saw our server until she came over to see whether our food was ok. Someone else took our order, the busboy tracked down our drinks, too much more to type. The bbq shrimp I would up with was tasty but I guess there was a lot of salt hiding underneath the spice because both my hands and feet swelled up from all the salt.
I would have rated the food a 1 but my husband said his French dip was the best he ever had and my son said the same about his burger. Maybe they should rename it “Rock n Beef”
Excellent service and attitude....food was delicious and promptly served.
We were quite disappointed with our experience at Rock'n Fish. Portions were extremely small and food was average at best. Definitely NOT worth what we paid.
We were seated near the door and it was a cold night. The door was propped open for the patio servers. We asked for the door to be shut but were told that the patio servers needed it open. I get it but, but if that is the case, don’t sit tables near the door! Food was just ok...burger was lukewarm and ribs were mediocre. Clam chowder was good. Took a ridiculously long time to get drinks.
We ate hear years ago and it was good. It's clearly lost its edge, fish portion (macadamia mahi mahi) was small and bland. The salmon sandwich had little taste, not really blackened and uninspired. A Good beer selection made it fair rather than a poor experience. When you pay $30 an entree, you expect a good entree. We won't be going back.
It was great. The Sourdough bread and clam chowder is a must have. The French dip sandwich was fantastic!
Great restaurant for eating prior to Lakers games. The food and service are always very good. We make a reservation so it's easier to get in. There are usually lots of people waiting to be seated when we are leaving. It's pretty noisy about an hour prior to game time but then we don't go here for the ambiance. It's about the food, the service and the convenience. They still charge $2.95 for bread, which is outrageous!!! It used to be complimentary. Seems to me they could charge a few cents more for an item or two to make up for the cost of the bread.
Great Food & Service
The Surf & Turf is awesome , great portion , good price , nice location & great ambiance
Bread is a must order & the grilled Artichoke is great
Have been here several times and the food has always been great! Great menu, from seafood to steaks. Friendly and attentive service! You will not be disappointed!
