Food was great! Service was responsive and very friendly. I arrived early for a business lunch and they checked with me on the table, service, music - great service.
Nice enough before a game at Staples but the food is just OK.
Slow service. Fish was not fresh and overcooked.
Seated timely. Food was good. Service was generally very good, waiter got a little busy for part of time due to game rush.
Nice dinner for two. The manager came to our table to say that he spotted a problem with one of our dinners and had the chef redo it. To compensate for our extra wait he gave my wife a free salad and me a free soup.
Convenient to Staples Center and they take reservations.
The food was delicious!
The Service, outstanding!
The Servers were genuinely warm and professional.
We had a great time!
Was waiting 45 minutes for food and 15 minutes for check
Very noisy no service food quality so so
Quick lunch. Thankful that I was able to get a reservation in. Would have preferred if they created a separate line for folks with reservations. Lots of folks in line and I felt rude stepping in front of them knowing they had been there awhile. Good food. Service was the weakest link (waitstaff specifically; the hostess was great)
Great service consist it was crowded due to a concert. Really noisy... I would sit outside next time. Food was good, not fabulous!
Long black hair in our crab cakes. Server only checked on us once during our entire meal.
We were seated right away and the service was great as well as the food. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday before a concert at Staples Center and it was the perfect spot.
As all LA Live eateries, this one is over-priced.....and loud. Sound level was ok early on, but slowly increased. Service was great, very fast and friendly. Booth seating was comfortable and waiters were appropriately attentive. No bread served when you sit down, found that odd. Never had that experience and hope that doesn't catch on....in America we eat free bread, chips, etc before we order. The food was fine, but not meeting the price.
Small tables are a little crowded. The steak was warm but not hot. Mac and cheese was great! The potatoes were under flavored.
Food was not great. It was my 50 birthday and they didn’t even sing to me and charged me for a horrible birthday dessert. I spent $370.00 on an basic meal with slow service.
It was awful - especially the service. Ordered drinks that never came until end of the meal. Had to ask twice or more for everything.
The food was great! The restaurant was just really noise and busy. It was hard to talk with the person I had the meal with. The server was very nice but she was incredibly busy and although she did her best, the service was slow at points.
Great pre-game dinner with my friends :) awesome service & food was yummy! Will return soon!
We were treated very well. The food was outstanding and the portions solid. It was a very pleasant experience.
!st thanks for taking reservations ! we had kings tickets ,with reservations us four kings fans were able to sit, eat , have a cocktail , relax and have a great meal before the game. 2nd my poor sis. who is never clumsy proceeded to drop her beer, and spill her water. Your staff was so pleasant and attentive to clean it up and replace her beer. AWESOME!!!! GREAT FOOD, DRINK AND EXCELLENT SERVICE !!!
Went to Rockin Fish before he Lakers Clips game and were seated on time, never rushed by the wait staff. Ordered drinks, Jumbo Prawn app and all was fantastic. For some reason the Teriyaki Chicken sounded good and it did not disappoint. Two in our party ordered the fresh fish and they enjoyed that selection very much.
Next time at LA Live this will definitely be in the running for our pregame dinner.
Place was nice. Food was good. I would eat here again
The food was decent, but the service was bad. The waiter kept telling me it was busy. A customer does not want to here that.
The rib eye steak was excellent, the sauce that comes with it is the BOMB. I will be going back again SOON.
Not good service. Very loud and hard to communicate. Food good.
Service ok; Food and drinks are good but expensive
We had reservations and were seated immediately. The waiter was friendly. Service was great! Food was delicious!!!
It was my birthday they didn’t do anything special for it but our server was nice. I had the salmon, I’m not a fan of the herb butter
Very good service and good food. The noise level is very loud.
We typically meet up at Rock ‘N Fish before the Lakers game. It’s convenient and has a pretty good variety of foods. Of course it is noisy and usually crowded. Our go to is usually fish and chips, which is very good and plentiful. The coleslaw could use “something”, maybe some mandarin orange slices, a little cilantro and some more seasoning. The fountain Hi-C fruit punch is watery and needs some more syrup. The service here is good. The popcorn shrimp appetizer would make a good entree with some fries and coleslaw.
We had a great time and will be back! We love Rock n Fish L.A. Live!
Waited 15 minutes for a server while everyone seated after us was served drinks and apps. Had to ask the hostess desk for service. Food we were finally served was perfectly adequate. If you're going to an event at LA Live, there are better options than this.
Chef Sean serves great food. Excellent quality and flavorful. Our server was attentive and friendly.
food was very spot on, only complaint was service was very slow and was not very busy, had to ask for drinks ordered twice
Service was good but food is only average quality for the price. Also lighting could be a little less bright for better ambiance.
Overall good experience. I enjoyed my birthday treat! Will definitely recommend.
Food was terrible, they forgot my appetizer, it was awful, crowded without enough staff, both of our meals were gross.
Have been to this restaurant several times both in Manhattan Beach and LA Live. This was our worst experience, by far. Had a reservation. It took 15 minutes to be seated. Waited another 10 to meet our waiter. 20 minutes to get our drinks. Another 30 to get our food. When the food arrived, it was our main courses, even though we ordered appetizers. We asked about the appetizers to which the runner asked, “Do you want those first?”. Yes. That’s why they are appetizers. Our appetizers arrived 10 minutes into our main. Our server seemed oblivious and then blamed the kitchen. Food was okay. Service was awful.
At times I felt I was being over watched by employees. I had no forks on my table and had to get up and look for them myself. My steak was amazing! My partners BBQ ribs had a very strong flavor to the sauce and tasted more like viniger BBQ ribs. I did let a waiter know about that and I wasn't charged for that plate. I feel that all employees shouldn't be visible playing around and better service. Other than that everything else was amazing.
Food was only okay BUT the service and ambiance were both superior! Staff was very attentive and helpful. Crowd was diverse and friendly. It was very family friendly.
