Local seafood options include barbecued oysters, fish tacos and grilled salmon. Fried chicken, smoked pork chops and the county's best cheeseburger are examples of offerings from our local turf.
A full bar is available with a custom cocktail menu and a wine list comprised of small handcrafted wines from the area that are off the beaten path.
Enjoy a glass of champagne, Ramos Gin Fizz or a Bloody Mary on our rear patio for brunch every Sunday from 11am to 3pm with menu items such as Crabcake Benedict, Chorizo Sausage & Gravy and delicious seasonal salads.
This is a place that clearly takes pride in creating works of art in all of its dishes. The oysters are simply to die for! I had the chicken and waffles, the waffle didn’t really need syrup, and the chicken was incredibly moist, always seems to be a problem with fried chicken. A quaint place, in the quaint town of Valley Ford. Most definitely will be back!
Awesome experience. A must stop. Amy made our evening delightful!
Always A Good Time
We love this place. The food is consistently top notch. Service Friday night was efficient and gracious. We usually arrive later, not by choice, when the place is packed and noisy. This most recent visit, we managed to get there by 6 pm, for a quiet and completely delightful meal. The wedge salad (not iceberg) was fresh and delicious, with bits of very tasty blue cheese. The ricotta-filled dumplings with veggies were yummy, and the pork chop with polenta and collards was great. Portions are generous. No room for dessert. My only complaint: the wine pour seemed a little stingy for the price.
We love Rocker Oysterfellers! The food is fantastic, the drinks are tasty, and the staff is kind! It’s in a great location, not that far from Bodega Bay or even Santa Rosa! We come here every time we are anywhere close enough to justify it!
Great meal but unfortunately very loud environment due to inebriated large party having dinner at the same time.
Great spot! Food, service and ambiance so great! Drinks, dinner, dessert good from start to finish, it's become a go to spot for us.
We had an early dinner here after biking Bodega Bay. The food was really good, completely enjoyable. My cocktail tonic was flat but I didn’t mention it. I would definitely go back. It’s worth the drive just to eat.
Fabulous place for oysters, steak, chicken. Great service and friendly staff.
We were seated on time, our waitperson was amazing, the wine and mixed drinks were perfect, the oysters were the best, and our meals were scrumptious...not to mention the bourbon shake for dessert. We'll definitely go again.
Cute place but super noisy in the dining room. Small portion on the meatloaf. Burger was super salty. Oyster appetizer was tasty. Would I go there again? 50/50
Great, food, wonderful service. We love having dinner here. Their hamburgers and fries are great.
We wanted to like this place. The menu seemed interesting. The location was quaint. The food was all just strange. Nothing tasted like it should. The clam chowder tasted like bacon. The corn bread was dry and dense. It didn’t taste like corn bread at all. My husband’s burger came with onion rings that were so thick they were like cake doughnuts with onions inside. I ordered shrimp and grits. It was so spicy I had to wipe the sauce off. The blue cheese salad dressing tasted like chip dip. All in all just a miss. It’s a cute historic location but the food was just all off. We were debating this restaurant and one further up the coast on the water. I wish we had chosen the other place. Overall Rockers just tried way too hard to be hip and foodie.
Excellent experience, and we really appreciate the lengths they go to in making the menu gluten free friendly without any sacrifice to the food. The steamer clams were phenomenal. The oysters were fantastic. Great meal, great service. Noisy loud people at the table next to us, but that is not the restaurant's fault.
Great little spot in Valley Ford. First time having Oysters and they were fantastic! Tried all of the grilled oysters including the special of the day. Melted in your mouth. Their corn muffins with that hint of sweet corn and jalapeno was a great start to the meal. Really top notch margarita. Had the mac n cheese and onion rings as sides and they were on point. Desserts were amazeballs! Beigniets and s'mores pudding did not disappoint!
The food was terrific! I liked how many of the meals and sides were made with local products. From the oysters, onion rings, clams, fish tacos, and pork chops, everything we had was an example of California cuisine at its best: creative and complex, yet unpretentious and not overworked. Like the food, the ambience of the bar and restaurant was casual yet respectful. Overall, the service was good although at times the staff were rushing to catch up. Customers in the bar had to wait for tables to be cleaned and it was hard to get orders in at the bar. However, the staff had a pleasant demeanor and were responsive once you got their attention.
The baked oysters are phenomenal! Especially love the oysters Rockefeller and Estero. Nom nom nom. Did I mention the fried chicken? Soooooo goooood.
Excellent oysters.....Rockefeller and similar. Chicken wings, fried chicken and fish tacos all great and an excellent value. Very friendly service from Amy!
The food was excellent! We went to celebrate our 32nd anniversary. The dining room was full and quite loud when we arrived (it was full of happy diners!), but quieted down as we enjoyed dinner. We had a great visit with the two ladies at the table next to ours, who, we found out, were spending the night.
4pm on a Sunday, had been a scorching day so we took advantage of the outside dining area. We had a great time. Good service and the food was excellent. Will go again and have already told some friends and employees. Thankyou for a wonderful time.
I like the roadhouse and the setting. The food is adequate, standard roadhouse food, portions lean toward the small side for roadhouse portions, e.g. fried chicken was only 2 pieces, a drumstick and half a breast. Nonetheless, I like the restaurant as a good local hangout.
First time having shrimp and grits - great. My friend had salmon and she loved it. Lovely little town.
Never a bad meal here. Consistently wonderful!
Anyone can have a bad night, and it was a bad night when I visited.
The good/OK: fun ambiance, polite staff, jalapeno cornbread (good flavor but dry as a bone), crab & artichoke cakes (excellent), fried oyster appetizer (good flavor, but monotonous), the Louisiana hot oysters, and the sauce/asparagus on the salmon entree.
The bad/awful: a spritz with lemon rind (awful), the fried chicken (flavorless, very overcooked, low quality meat, bland beyond recognition); the salmon (white as snow inside, badly overcooked); the gem salad and the beet salad (flavorless and one-note); the Rocker Oysterfeller (no oyster flavor whatsoever); and the value (terrible).
Skip it and head up the road to Litchfields. If you go, stick to the appetizers and have some wine.
Would like to have had more seafood choices. I found the combinations of southern and seafood odd.
Great service. Good food with nice ambience. limited draft beer selection.
Mother's Day brunch. Delicious food, but the service was the worst I have experienced there. Everything was really slow (including seating even though we had reservations and there were plenty of empty tables) and the wait staff felt inattentive. My mom loved the food but I felt disappointed that the whole experience wasn't better, considering it was her first time there.
Lovely Mother's Day brunch. Staff welcoming and attentive.
What a great treasure !! Wasn't sure what to expect - Menu and food exceeded all expectations. Will definitely be back!
Great food great service all around an awesome food experience
The service was terrible...waited at least 20 minutes for drinks, and an hour for food. We were ready for our bill and our second round of drinks weren’t even served. $110 for two people! Extremely noisy. I will never go again.
We enjoyed a wonderful Easter Brunch here!
The Crab Benedict was delicious. Other members of our group loved the French Toast and Chicken and Waffles.
For the price it would have been nice if they included a Mimosa or beverage. Overall we had a fabulous time!
Awesome per usual!!
The food at Rocker Oysterfellers is PHENOMENAL, but the room noise, crowded seating, and outdated tables kill what would otherwise be an upscale experience.
Food was even better than we remembered! And the service was excellent, too.
Heard of oyster Rockefeller on check please Bay Area. The wait services were great and accommodating to dietary needs. The fried chicken the best I’ve had and The beignets —yum
Seating a bit tight but atmosphere joyful , friendly so yes loud, it was all good ,
Four of us had a lovely restaurant week dinner at RO. Nice wedge salad, excellent vegetarian dumpling/roasted veg dish. good beignets and s'more 'pudding' for dessert. Love the location, the vibe, though can get pretty loud with the hard wood surfaces.
Delicious food as always, but they were dealing with some really obnoxious people in the bar. Service was fantastic.
In particular, we liked our waiter Damian and his wife the bartender Mia—what a fantastical nice couple!!
We have eaten there many times and will be back. Blackened shrimp was very spicy and salty. Servers seemed overwhelmed not up to their usual standard. Oysters were outstanding.
Same great atmosphere and service as always but what happened to the fish tacos? This has been my favorite dish but on Thursday, March 7, they were not up to the usual standard. Way too much breading and very little fish. Aioli was soggy and too much compared to the slaw.
