RockCreek Seafood & Spirits
Our menu centers around globally sourced seafood from well managed fisheries; with offerings of local Northwest familiars like crab, oysters and mussels, to more tropical fish like Kona Kampachi or Hawaiian Ono, and East Coast staples like Striped Bass. Our preparations emphasize fresh ingredients that arrive daily, and pronounced flavors from around the world.
Our urban-industrial two-story ‘fishing lodge’ was built with local and reclaimed resources by Dovetail Construction and Marian Built. Our tables were crafted from bark-beetle pine, and we even found a home for our favorite re-purposed farm equipment! Our space includes the main dining area, our killer bar, a large modern patio and an upstairs loft and private dining room.
What Insiders Are Saying
Rockcreek Seafood & Spirits in Fremont is a great place for fresh seafood, and pretending like you caught your own fish in the wild.
Excelente comida. Muy bien atendido , altamente recomendable , muy buen lugar .
Good quality seafood but surprised that fish was plated with not a single leaf of lettuce or side dish!
Lacey was an amazing server: )
Love love Rock Creek. Top 5 favorite restaurants in Seattle & we ALWAYS make a point to come here when in town. Service was a little underwhelming this time- not much help & server didn’t seem interested in going above his usual “job”. Not bad by any means but not our usual vibe from the staff here. The food was, as always, EXQUISITE so hats off to the kitchen!!!
We've tried to get into RockCreek on short notice in the past and had been to the bar but had never been in for a meal. We're very pleased we a made a reservation as we really enjoyed the food, the service and the overall atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Excellent service and exceptional quality of food! Waiter suggested visiting second restaurant by same owners and we already made plans!!!
Always a good time, with great food and amazing staff.
Food was delicious and service was fantastic. Craft cocktails were beautifully presented. It was my moms bday and both parents’ first time in Seattle. RockCreek was a great PNW seafood experience. Highly recommend this restaurant. (And get the stew)
Repeat customer based on recent positive experience at same restaurant. Arrived early for an early dinner reservation, no other customers around, all tables empty. Hostess took us to the worst possible table, one next to bathroom and crowded up against bus/waiter station being restocked for the night. Rest of staff made up for the hostess’s poor judgement with an otherwise excellent meal. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time. Every dish was great. Especially I loved cauliflower salad.
Service was amazing and the food was great. We came with a baby and The staff was super accommodating. Our daughter was a little fussy for some reason that night and they had a children’s finger puppet book that they let her play with to keep her occupied. That was really nice of them and our server interacted with our baby making our dinner a lot smoother. Food was quick and everything tasted great. Only complaint was the lamb ragout was salty. Loved the ambience and decor of the joint
We were visiting from Chicago, and it was exactly what we were looking for in terms of fresh and modern seafood cuisine. Everything was delicious, which special nods to the oysters, cauliflower salad and lemon curd dessert.
We visited RockCreek to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. We had a fabulous meal and will definitely return. The sourdough and herb butter was a great way to start. We shared the Manila Bay clams small plate, which was delicious. For entrees, we had the Baja Yellowtail and Blackened Hawaiian Opah - both were fantastic. The cocktails were great too. Service was very good. Overall just a great experience, we'll definitely return.
Best food in Seattle by far. Consistently fabulous and no other restaurant in the city can brag everyone of their desserts are awesome. Have to have the cauliflower salad- it's a must. In fact we have never had one item that was marginal. RARE find.
Very good quality seafood. Dishes are put together in very creative way.
We come here often. Had people visiting from out of town and wanted to impress! The service and food are always top notch here!! Will always recommend and continue to return!
Great service in a unique setting. We chose the small plates over entrees and enjoyed all but especially the mussels.
The seafood preparation might be the best in Seattle.
Our 1st time here and it was awesome. We had the Black Bay Cod and it was exactly as advertised- melts in your mouth. Had the cauliflower and it was awesome as well. The vibe was really good - cannot over recommend this restaurant.
Food was excellent and service was above and beyond, as always!!
I am a tough grader. This was outstanding. Enjoy.
Top quality food and service! Lacy was extremely knowledgable and helpful. We will definitely go back.
The drink list was innovative and refreshing. The wine list was broad with great pricing, thanks! There were three of us and we ordered many items and shared. Wow! That's the way to do it right! And we ended with a trio of desserts that were fantastic. We'll be back, for sure.
Seattle may be a foodie city, but it isn't a service city. The disappointing service at RockCreek was no exception to this observation. The order was wrong - twice. Appetizer never came. Then, the wrong dessert came. We were dining at 8:45 pm on a Sunday, so perhaps the wait staff was ready to go home, but that isn't a good excuse. Food was good, though they had run out of many items (the sign of freshness, I would think). But, service was lacking.
Very small portions for the price
Amazing food and very hospitable service. Love it here!
Enjoyed our meal. The wait staff were personable & good, food was excellent. We had a problem with our table (people next to us wearing very strong perfume or cologne, couldn't stand it, we were upstairs in a corner with poor airflow), the hostess at front seemed a bit put out to have to move us, but she did. I ordered a few small plates as my dinner, my husband ordered an entree. The small plates came out one at a time, as if they were appetizers, and then finally his entree (which seemed to take a very long time). All of the food was topnotch and we didn't mind the wait once we were sitting at an outside table with less noise and fresh air!
Great service. Loved the mussels bruschetta. Will definitely go back for another one.
Had friends visiting from the east coast and wanted to show off the wonderful fish of the PNW. Our server was helpful with recommendations and provided friendly, efficient service. We started out with an assortment of oysters, which, sadly, I felt weren't chilled enough. They were okay, but didn't wow any of us.
We shared several small plates, enjoying amazingly tender and tasty grilled octopus, delicious shrimp and grits, and tomato sauced mussels that were great. That really would have been enough food, but we had ordered on large plate to share, the grilled branzino. It was tender and moist, and if you ate the top crispy skin, displayed some nice seasonings. Without that exterior skin, though, it would have benefitted from a touch of lemon or a gentle sauce or aioli to add a bit of interest.
Overall, we had a very good meal and a lovely evening, despite a few minor disappointments.
Everything we got was exceptional. The oysters on the half shell were delicious. The fish dishes are amazing but the lamb dish was extremely impressive. Great wine, food and vibes!
It was our 33rd Anniversary and we had a very special dinner!
As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! It was a perfect wedding anniversary celebration.
Great dining experience with excellent service!! The only thing negative was it was a bit warm in the restaurant. We were seated on the second floor, which was great because it was quieter outstanding!! I had the tuna crudo, a friend had a salad, another friend, the oysters Brockerfeller all excellent!! My friend too much for one person. The cake was a little lighter & refreshing because of the lemon curd.
Wonderful food. Superb ! Both of our dishes were delicious.
The food is very good, but they are not very accommodating in terms of allergy modifications. They don’t allow substitutions and their sauces are all pre-made. This was surprising for a nice restaurant.
I’ve been in Seattle twice over the last two years and have made sure to go to RockCreek both times. It’s one of the best seafood restaurants in America. The mussels bruschetta and black cod are amazing dishes. Just stellar food with a comfortable, unpretentious vibe. Thanks for always making me feel like a regular.
One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. It's always delicious, the staff is outstanding, and I love the beautiful space and patio.
Food was excellent. Service was spotty. Felt our lead server was indifferent to day the least.
Wanted a recommendation for a good seafood restaurant in Seattle and this restaurant did not disappoint. Everything on the menu sounded great. We loved our food and drinks. Not cheap but top notch.
