   This is definately a special-occasion restaurant. This is the type of restaurant that you go to if you want to be certain that the food is going to be uncompromisingly superb. The fish is always fresh and perfectly prepared, the wine choices are excellent, and the cocktails are fresh and bright.

   Beautiful atmosphere...and everyone was pleasant. Food was fine but at the price points it was a bit disappointing - for the amount charged I expected to be more wow'ed. The shrimp and grits was super small portion wise and for $24 I'd expect more than 3 small shrimp (farm raised?). Grits also aren't expensive cost wise so I don't understand so few being on the plate. I had oyster Benedict and while fine one egg was cooked solid through...and not everything was super hot. Portion was fine for this dish though. The "beignets" also weren't beignets but intead more of a breakfast fritter. Taste was solid/good but felt a bit like an inaccurately labeled menu item. None of these things listed above were worth asking for a refire or otherwise...I'd just say the key phrase I'd use is disappointment for the money. Lastly, service was friendly and nice...but at the same time a bit absent. Cups for coffee are not large - which is fine - but I'd recommend being a bit more prompt on refills. Overall it was a pleasant experience but I don't know that I'd want to return again for a $85 brunch for two with no alcohol.

   Incredible food! Go every time I’m up from Portland. Chilean Sea Bass and the Pasta with mushrooms/squash were out of this world!

   My entree was delicious yet could have been hotter (temperature). Golden beets side dish and key lime dessert are intoxicating. Cocktails are hit-and-miss.

    Rock Creek has an incredible menu. Food and drinks are all exceptional. Caressa was our server and she is excellent. She nailed her timings and she was funny and relaxed the whole time.

    RockCreek is primarily a fish restaurant. The kitchen crew does an excellent job developing creative and tasty recipes with the fish. Recommend a 'tapas' style dinner of multiple small plates

    From the turnovers to the shrimp and grits everything was amazing. The flavors were perfectly combined. The shrimp and grits from most places are bland and flavorless these were the complete opposite. Perfectly seasoned with the right amount of kick. I could have used 3 additional shrimp in my dish but outside of that. Outstanding. The ambiance is such a vibe and the waitstaff was extremely helpful with great suggestions!     Best seafood in town. Great appies (love the Kari-Out calamari!) and delicious entrees. In our group we had the whole branzino, grilled Ono, and striped cod entrees and they were all delicious!

    We live here in Seattle, and this has been a reliable restaurant to take out of town guests for a great dinner. Once again, RockCreek did not disappoint! All four of us dining last night enjoyed excellent first courses (I had a fantastic cauliflower salad), and all of us had outstanding main courses of fish (my Atlantic Cod was out of this world). Service was friendly, professional, and efficient. We were seated upstairs, which I prefer. This is probably our fifth or sixth time at this restaurant, and it has never let us down!

    Everything we ordered was very good. Sourdough bread and burrata appetizers were enjoyed by all. Two of us had the Scallops and they were cooked perfectly. Wonderful sauce and interesting addition of pastini. Key lime pie and chocolate mousse were outstanding. Will definitely return.

    RockCreek is a go-to fish house. The food is always well prepared. The service is friendly and thoughtful and the atmosphere relaxing. You can be in the middle of it all on the main floor or find a quiet table in their loft. A negative is their wine list, while offering reasonable selection is now completely lacking in any mid-range options. No wines below $55/bottle, which is a pity. Regardless, for an enjoyable seafood dinner RockCreek is hard to beat.

    Great seafood tapas but the ambiance leaves little to be desired. Small table, but the server did a good job of not crowding it by bringing each small plate one after another. Great Negroni! Would recommend for lunch more than dinner.
