RockCreek Seafood & Spirits
Our menu centers around globally sourced seafood from well managed fisheries; with offerings of local Northwest familiars like crab, oysters and mussels, to more tropical fish like Kona Kampachi or Hawaiian Ono, and East Coast staples like Striped Bass. Our preparations emphasize fresh ingredients that arrive daily, and pronounced flavors from around the world.
Our urban-industrial two-story ‘fishing lodge’ was built with local and reclaimed resources by Dovetail Construction and Marian Built. Our tables were crafted from bark-beetle pine, and we even found a home for our favorite re-purposed farm equipment! Our space includes the main dining area, our killer bar, a large modern patio and an upstairs loft and private dining room.
What Insiders Are Saying
Rockcreek Seafood & Spirits in Fremont is a great place for fresh seafood, and pretending like you caught your own fish in the wild.
Smashing food and service
Amazing food, cozy atmosphere! Highly, highly recommend to any foodies who enjoy good quality seafood !!
We all had fish for dinner and the Char and the Grouper were excellent. But my daughter had the Thai snapper and it was so boney that she could not eat it. This was even after the waitress worked to remove as
many bones as possible. We think it should be taken off the menu. Thank you.
brioche was very dry. otherwise, things are okay. kid's menu is good.
Came here with my husband because we had heard great things but were a little disappointed. We had the marinated olives, sourdough w/ herb butter, baked oysters, arugula salad, grilled octopus and the grouper. The grouper was fantastic. Great flavour and was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately the other items were mediocre. We thought maybe we just ordered the wrong things but we took all the recommendations from our waitress and they were all lacking in flavour. Not sure we will be back.
Excellent service and recommendations. One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time!! Great flavors! Every plate was scraped clean.
We always love rock creek ! To us it is the best seafood resturarant in the city and I appreciate the fact that they push the boundaries on making all the preps supper interesting!
We live nearby and brought out of town guests who requested seafood as that is what Seattle is known for. Having dined at RockCreek several times before, we knew we would not be disappointed. As seafood is the highlight of the menu, it is presented here with fresh and inventive ingredients that change seasonally without overpowering the seafood itself. We started with oysters, then had the clams, mackerel, grilled octopus and the whole branzino. Everything was excellent. The service was professional and warm. Our guests were very pleased and impressed.
Amazing food, love the ambiance and feel of this restaurant and wonderful drink choices!
Perfectly cooked fish interestingly prepared. Good wine list with excellent selections available by the glass. Friendly and efficient service. Airy ambience although noise levels in some parts of the restaurant can be a bit high. Would like to see a few more salad and vegetable offerings on the seafood dominated menu.
Great brunch. Lots of options and the service was great.
The game hen and jalapeno cake was outstanding!!!
I will be back and highly recommend RockCreek.
Exquisite cuisine, cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Absolutely loved it!
Friends from Maine visiting
Love the food, very noisy however!
Absolutely terrific experience. The perfect amount of food; 3 plates, all of which were recommended were delicious. I had the Spanish mackerel, while my girlfriend had the mushroom pasta. We split the Asian pear salad, which was both delicious and light enough that dessert (the RockCreek s’mores) was possible.
Great food in beautiful surroundings. I could have tried everything on the brunch menu, but the tar pit, bacon oyster Benedict and berry danish won this round. Adding this place to the list of regular brunch spots to try more. Dinner menu looked great too.
Food imaginative and inspiring, fresh and complex. Service totally adequate and more. Noise difficult to carry on an intimate conversation, but not impossible. The value for food is incredible.
The restaurant was hard for me to find, but when I finally located it .... it was fabulous!
Made a reservation for my husband's birthday. We were seated right away, but got the table right by the kitchen. Also, the restaurant was so noisy that we had a hard time hearing each other speak. While the food was good, it was very expensive for what you got. I'm glad we tried it, but won't be going back.
Loved the food and our waiter was great.
Food was great but service was horrible. We ordered appetizers and wanted to order some entrees but server was preoccupied paying attention to a 6 top that walked in. Waited about 30 min for her to come back to check on us but decided to leave.
Good buzz and ambiance that comes with a moderate noise level. Excellent seafood options including local shellfish. We had some food allergies to deal with and the staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Good wine selection and a limited list local beer and ciders. We will certainly be returning.
Server was very understanding and accomdating to our dietary restrictions. The food was seasoned well and made with care. On the pricey side but worth it once and awhile.
Always my favorite brunch place. Great food, great service, and great blood orange mimosas
We’ve been there a few times now and the food is great but the service is subpar. This last time we waited for 20 minutes for our server to greet us and her first words were “you guys ready to roll?” without any type of introduction.
The Tar Pit, Cinnamon Roll, and Ham Benedict were amazing
Always fantastic. The black cod was incredible and don’t miss the cauliflower salad.
the food was grest however portions were small hence value poor . The wait staff was not attentive and rude
Love Rock Creek. Been there before, BUT - they were out of champagne, out of the root vegetable breakfast and out of ketchup. AND - they didn't log us in when we arrived, so I got a notice from Open Table. Will definitely go back, but they do need to fix a few things.
Great brunch menu. Excellent service. I would go back.
Waitress was quite rude and unpleasant. I spoke to the manager afterwards. It was disappointing.
Great place with delicious food and a nice atmosphere. The service is always thoughtful without being stuffy or intimidating. One of my favorite places to go for a nice evening out.
Had another fantastic experience at RockCreek! So many inventive ways to do shellfish and fin fish, and also loved the cauliflower, yum! Love this place: cozy, neighborhoody spot, but outstanding food and service!
We have been here several times and the food has been variable....one time it's the best place we've been and then we get mediocre service and just OK food. This time the service was excellent and the food was great except for the calamari....there was VERY little calamari in the dish. It was a good salad, but that's not how it is marketed!! The shrimp & grits, the mussels and cod dishes were all good and the wine selection was nice. The noise level is horrible for conversation, so dont go there for a quiet chat with friends!
Our favorite restaurant in Seattle, and one of pur favorite restaurants we have ever been to. We have been to Rock Creek probably close to 10 times and have never been disappointed. The food, service, ambience, wine list, everything is top notch. Go. You will not be sorry.
The food was quite good, and our server was very attentive. However our experience quickly soured when a member of our party found a hair in his potatoes. Not wanting to make a scene, he insisted on not sending back the dish and instead set aside most of his food. When another server came to clear the table, I discreetly pulled her aside and said “some feedback for the kitchen, they need to be careful because there was hair in his food.” She looked a bit puzzled, almost as if she was wondering why I would mention it to her. She then said “OK, sure, I will let them know.” I asked for our bill and was shocked to see they still charged for the dish that had hair in it. The lack of concern for this breach of hygiene and the complete disinterest in even trying to make the situation right made for a very poor experience.
Overpriced lack luster small portions. Even had to pay for bread and butter, with the butter being strange and bland looking like avocado. The pear salad hardly had any pears in it and lacked flavor. I ordered a cocktail and it was minuscule in size and tasted terrible and overpriced. The only thing that was ok was the fish and dessert. Won’t be coming back. Seattle has much better places to choose from with better ambiance and not extremely loud.
