Our server asked us if we enjoyed our food and we told her there were a couple of issues. Our server then brought over a lady who said that she was the owner / owner's wife who asked us about our food and we told her the truth. The owner (wife) then proceeded to push back and argue a little with us over our issues with the food. We never would have said anything if we were not asked and we certainly never expected that an owner would give us a hard time about our honest feedback about the quality of the food. I am not upset about the food, just about how we were treated. We go out to dinner a couple of times a week in Avalon and had not been here for dinner in 10 years. Needless to say we do not plan to go back.

The table was stained and sticky. Appetizers were good but main courses were mediocre at best. There wasn’t a lot of flavor at all. Lobster bisque was a disappointment. My mom’s food did not come out with the e rest of ours- 99% sure they forgot to make it. No apology or anything.

Our waitress Rainer was very nice and we enjoyed her service. But the food was average. Our burgers showed up without lettuce, tomatoes and onions which are noted on the menu. It was a rainy day and we could take our time since the place was really empty but I wouldn’t go back again.
