This was the best dinner we have ever had in a restaurant in Orlando. Our server was from Italy and shared her knowledge of Italian eating and really helped us pick the best options. The wine was very extensive as well. The pasta was so fresh it just melted in your mouth. I have never had such good pasta. The decor was very classy and it felt like family and home being there. We had the tiramisu and it was to die for. Thank you so much Rocco's for making our dinner so special. We will definitely be back.
Great food. Great service. Neighborhood gem. One of the best in greater Orlando
Some of the best Italian food in all of Orlando, served by knowledgeable and friendly staff in a warm, inviting environment.
We were celebrating a birthday. Food was very good. The restaurant was pretty empty so very quiet. It a week night and really bad weather out. Service was great.
They need to update the restaurant a little. Maybe get rid of the drapes in from window and put in plantation shutters.
It had an older person vibe to restaurant although there were some younger couples in their 30’s.
All in all a very good dinner and experience
Excellent food and great service. The menu selection was awesome so many great choices, much better than your typical chain Italian restaurant.
I never can say enough how much I appreciate Rocco going around to each table and asking the guest is everything OK. The service and attention to details to make the best dinning experience is superb. Best of all is the food that Rocco selects each day and how it is prepared can not be matched by any restaurant in town.. I look forward to our next visit. Thank you
The July 9 Wine Dinner event at Rocco's Italian Grille was amazing! A wonderful experience and it was a very special way to celebrate my husband's birthday!
We love dining at Rocco’s. Alina is always fantastic, attentive and makes the experience memorable. Thank you, Alina. ❤️
Service was wonderful, staff was very sweet and helpful with the menu and the food amazing! Pasta was fresh and soft and so delicious. We had tiramisu and lava cake for desert....sooo yummy! Thank you Rocco for a great anniversary dinner!
So disappointed!! Made reservation for our 2 nd wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday. We arrived 27 mins prior to our reservation, told the host we were going to have a drink in the lounge. He pointed out our table to us and told us to just let him know when we were ready. Within 10 mins we observed him sitting someone else at that very table. When we went to the desk at 7:30 to be seated he put us in a back room Service was awlful!!!! We even watched the table beside us get up to get their own cheese, then get up to ask for to go boxes, then get up to ask for their check. No one ever came one time to ask how the food was. Our waitress never asked how my husband wanted his veal chop prepared and when I asked for another glass of wine when my food was delivered. It never came until we were completely done eating. Wait staff never acknowledged our anniversary or his birthday. She never even asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. VERY disappointed and what is worse. We drove one hour each way to dine at this restaurant. To add.. the young man that delivered our appetizer - did not give us any plates, when we left no one at the front desk even asked how our evening was.
This was my first time to Rocco’s. The host, bartender and our server were all great. There was a party wrapping up and it was very noisy in the bar area. The host asked us where we would like to sit and I said away from the bar so my date and I could talk. He sat us in the back room where there were only two other couples. Some people may not like that but we welcomed the quieter area, especially when some older woman in the bar thought she was an opera singer. The Fritto Misto as an appetizer was very good. My date’s veal fish was also well executed. I opted for the veal chop special and was a little disappointed with it. It was pretty fatty and a little tough to cut. Could have used a sharper knife. The vegetables were very good. Would have rated this five stars if the veal chop was better.
Have been here several times and the food has been fantastic, maybe some of the best Italian food to be had in Central Florida. Last visit, not as fantastic. Very good but not up to the level of previous visits. An explanation may have been that Rocco was not there. WHen the cat's away, the mice will play. Rocco comes around to each table and asks how the meal is. When the owner isnt there, the help lets things slide a little. When you make your reservation ask if Rocco will be there that evening
Excellent Italian food.
We love dining with Rocco! We have celebrated both our 40th birthdays there, and now Father’s Day too, and it’s never a disappointment.
Every time I have visited Rocco's the service and the food have been excellent. On this visit I was with family from California - this was there favorite dinner of all the restaurants at which we dined. Melon is in season, and the prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe was delicious. I had the paprdelle alle cinque terre - pappardelle with shrimp, scallops and lobster braised in a white wine tomato basil cream sauce, topped with shaved Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and basil. The pasta and seafood were fresh and the sauce was wonderful. I would like to say we sampled the dessert, but we were all too full. If you are looking for intimate surroundings, great food, and fantastic service, give Rocco's a try.
Great veal and house made pasta!!
Delicious food but everything was just a bit too pricey
Loved the live entertainer - Joe Lupis on piano
We have loved going to Rocco's for years. The staff is friendly, very informative about the menu and fun. The band plays and the whole place turns into a wonderful relaxing atmosphere but never too noisy. It is always a happy start to a dinner with my husband or with friends when I know I am going to Rocco's
Best Italian food in town. Delicious
ROCCOS is an OUTSTANDING restaurant! It is definitely the very BEST Italian restaurant in the area! Rocco is an extremely talented Chef and his staff is exceptional! The food and the service is top notch! This is fine dining at its very best!
We had a large party for our youngest sons high school graduation.
Several members of the party had not been to ROCCOS before this experience. They each individually commented that they had never had food this good in their lives and that they enjoyed this authentic Italian meal like no other!
Thank you ROCCO for taking care of us once again and for far exceeding our expectations! It is a night we will always remember and cherish!
I have driven past Roccos nearly every day for three years and never really paid attention until looking for someplace new for our anniversary dinner. This is a neighborhood gem that clearly has its regulars who the staff know by name. But this is great hospitality where you are warmly welcomed and served. It reminded us of some of our favorite restaurants when we lived in Chicago - big owner personality, great food, and a great time. Rocco stops by every table and our waiter Michael was outstanding. If you love authentic Italian food and great service, Rocco's is for you. We will be back... soon.
Wonderful service and great food.. Best Italian cuisine in Orlando.
We always enjoy our visits to Rocco’s. The staff is exceptionally warm and efficient and Rocco’s smiling face is ever present. The food i s just like Mama (in-law) used to make.
Delicious food, great ambiance and great music. Will definitely come back again soon.
I have heard it was so good, must say a little disappointed. My meal was not really hot, and our service was not as good as I would expected. Tartufo rolled in cocoa powder, not in hard chocolate shell, bummer. Overall, ok but wasn’t blown away :(
Food was just average
This restaurant was just ok, nothing special to recommend.
Group of 6. Skimpy portions, food nothing to rush back soon to try again. Cioppino has little broth but what was there tasty. It included a lobster tail which was very chewy. Pasta pomodoro very good. Grilled chicken was very dry. Very good waitress and owner a nice varied selection of appetizers and entrees offered the Saturday night we were there. Ambiance plain, but good table separation and quiet enough to talk even when full and with duo playing/singing in bar area which is separated by glass from restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner there. Rocco is the most gracious host. Love going there.
We love Rocco's. However, I do not remember the cocktails being so expensive. A martini was $15, plus tax, plus tip. Once you are finished that is about $20. That's fine in NYC but not Winter Park. A comparable cocktail elsewhere would be 30% less.
Consistently good food
We always have a great time and meal. We love to take friend to Roccos
The owner visited our table and was gracious and courteous. The staff was excellent and the food and wine delicious. We will definitely visit again.
If you like veal, Rocco’s is the best in central Florida!
Absolutely phenomenal! We love Rocco and his entire team! Service is impeccable and the good is out of this world!
Rocco is a gracious host. The selections on the menu make it difficult to choose what you'd like to order as well as the evening's specials. Our choices were all delicious. Service is excellent. Italiano vero!
Little hidden Italian gem in Winter Park , everything on the menu is exceptional , only gave 4 stars for the food because my baked wedge potatoes were not my favorite , cold inside and the outside just felt like rubber like they were pull out of refrigerator , the rest was great as usual !!
Food was Great!! Service was Great!!
Will definitely be back!!
Two of us ordered sea bass. It came inside orzo in little tiny pieces hard to find. We would not have paid $25.00 for sea bass flavored orzo. One of us had a veal chop. It was very fatty. Service was very good. Tomato soup was good. Caeser salad was average. Owners were friendly. Atmosphere was appropriate.
