Robokyo Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar
Robokyo is located in the historic Toll House Inn originally constructed in1790 as a stagecoach stop on the Old Lincoln Highway. In 2007 the exterior of the building was restored and the interior was transformed into Robokyo.

Alex and Ava were great. Food was fabulous as always. We had a large party and they kept up on everything, not a glass went dry. Always a fun time.
I am not a sushi eater, but my fiance lived in Japan for 7 years so he has a very traditional view on sushi. He loves it, so I think that is a great endorsement. I thought our chef was engaging, professional and cooked a very delicious meal. Highly recommend.
Always enjoy food and the entertainment of the chef overall enjoyed very much
Chef was unenthusiastic. The pieces of steak were too big and the steak was improperly trimmed so that there was gristle in the food served. The vegetables were under-cooked. The soup was cold.
The food was delicious and the chef was very entertaining. Our waitress was very attentive and kind as well. The drinks were a little pricey but besides that, everything was fantastic!
Food was good but charged $8.99 for my daughters 9th birthday which should have included cake and ice cream (together), disco ball, singing and a picture printed. The camera was broken so they could not take the picture or print it. Still cost me $8.99. Food was great, server was overwhelmed and the room we were in was hot.
Started with a CA roll. Followed by onion soup and salad with ginger dressing. Ended with the shrimp hibachi, fried rice and vegetables.
The hibachi chef was spot on with his presentation and food delivery.
Overall, every serving was delicious and I cannot wait to go back.
Very nice wait staff. Excellent food. Chef was interactive. Would recommend.
We had family in from California. Everything was wonderful!
Great server and chef, delicious food. Loud atmosphere was a little tough for the older members of our party.
Food was excellent our chef was new to the Hibachi stage but did an excellent job and very friendly! Our server was exceptionally professional and very nice! Unfortunately the hostess ladies could care less about being friendly and seem to have better things to do with their time. It is sad because this is your very first impression of the restaurant
Good pre birthday dinner for my girlfriends 21st
Arrived at 5:15, we waited to be seated. When we were seated, 2 other couples were already seated and the waitress was taking their order. We of course waited for her to return for our order. The one couple we were seated with was rather unfriendly, while you had no control, it made for an unpleasant experience.
It is always a wonderful dining experience at Roboyko. The food is delicious, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere fun but not chaotic.
We had a delicious dinner and the Chef was wonderful!!
Yes, It is a good place to visit and to experience something different as food is being prepared in front of you. Good and entertaining show by the cook.
Overall great atmosphere, food and service!!! This place is amazing and one of my favorite restaurants in the area!!
Excellent all around.
The restaurant was very clean but dark, I’m legally blind and sensitive to lighting and it was hard for me to choose a menu item. The food was excellent as well as the price, the attendant was gracious and attentive and the grill chef was skilled but not entertaining enough. Overall I would say it was a wonderful dinner experience. Our guests liked it as well.
Outstanding as always. We come and celebrate every time we can. The food is great. The staff is friendly! We look forward to going again.
All of our food was over cooked. The cook was friendly but his cooking skills definitely need some work.
Chef Nathan did a wonderful job. Food was prepared perfectly.
Mother’s Day. They were a little short staffed but did well and the food was on point
The temperature during our ENTIRE dinner was UNBEARABLE! I asked our waitress if they could please turn on the AC because we were all SO uncomfortable. She said it was already on & there was nothing she could do about it. I actually had to go outside a few times just to avoid passing out from the heat! The ONLY time our chef ever spoke to us was to ask how we wanted out meat cooked and to say thank you at the end. I took my entire family there, who were visiting from out of town, to have a fun-filled and interactive experience, but we would have had more fun going through a McDonald's drive thru, sitting in a tent in the middle of the desert, watching paint dry! The soup was VERY salty and my steak was tough. Save yourself a few hundred dollars and grill out in your back yard!
Our cook was amazing and so nice to our daughter who was a little scared of the fire.
Kids first Hibachi experience. It was ok, the Hibachi Chef was ok.... not very engaging. My husband and I both got steak and shrimp which was cooked well. The rice, kids got noodles- was subpar, cheaply made. Sushi was ok, nothing spectacular. Bathrooms were kinda dirty. For $135 plus tip, I would rather go a dozen other places.
Always wonderful dining with Robokyo. The staff is always pleasant and the atmosphere is perfect.
I specifically said someone in our party had a birthday and they were going to sing to him and do the birthday thing and they never did. I was disappointed.
We drive the whole way from the city of Pittsburgh to dine at Robokoy
It was not our first time there but our chef, Chris, really stood out to us. He was very entertaining and did stuff we’ve never seen before. It was one of the best times we’ve had there!
The seating area for the grill was to close to other tables. The great thing for going to A restaurant like yours is the chef performance before cooking meals. The chef was good and friendly, but we was expecting a bigger performance. The food was good, but not great. The sauces provided in the cups had little taste to add to the meals. I like the portions size of the soup and salad. But the salad (ginger) dressing could be premix before serving. There was little dressing on my salad and could not mix well within the salad for a filling taste. The over all experience was just ok. To give it a star rating would be 2.5 out of 5.
Seafood tasted burnt and was expensive although the service was good
The chef want interactive at all. There was no excited as most of the Japanese steak houses I’ve been to
Ate there 2/28...very short of help. The size of my appetizer was very small and way over priced.
The rest of the food was good...I could only see one waitress.
Used to look forward to eating there but I may not be so quick to take my family there again.
No!! We love going to Edo Hibachi, but wanted to give this place a try, wish we didn't. I can't even compare the food to Edo, it was just horrible. If you are debating on going to Robokyo or Edo Hibachi, definitely go to Edo
Awesome and comfy little hibachi! The food was excellent and our chef handled himself extremely well. He was well mannered, focused and polite.
Overall, we had a nice time. The restaurant decor is lovely. The food was well done but the portions were disappointing. For the same price at other hibachi restaurants, you get much more. Our cook was very quiet and not engaging. The drinks were wonderful. I'm not sure if we will return, but we still enjoyed ourselves even if the whole experience was underwhelming.
Our chef was not very friendly. Didn’t speak unless we asked him questions. The room would be either really warm or freezing. Didn’t know if was supposed to be like that. All in all our group enjoyed the evening.
My husband and I enjoy this restaurant very much. The staff is very friendly. Sometimes the cooks are quiet and don’t interact with the guests much (somewhat disappointing). Overall it’s a fun place to go. A bit expensive but worth it.
We keep coming back and have yet to be disappointed. Great food, great staff!
