It took an inordinate amount of time to get our food. We had a concert that began at 8pm, we let our server know that, and we missed the opening because service was so poor. Not the waiter's fault - assuming it was the kitchen. Food was very good but a bit overpriced.

Quiet dining room with many booths and some tables like in a large diner. The prices are out of control since you get a roll (hard) served and then a small salad. We both ordered steaks, had to pay extra for a sauce. My wife had a Fillet Mignon with green pepper sauce, she was quite surprised not finding any green peppers in it. I had the Ribeye Steak with a very
runny Bernaise sauce (tasted more like a doctored A1 sauce). any side item is an extra $ 12.
We had a small salad together, our steaks each with a sauce, and the salty french fries with
aioli (or Mayonaise). 3 glasses of wine and paid $ 165.00. Have had better dinners with larger salad, more on the plate, and a bottle of wine for less. (Wolfgang Pucks & Bobby Flay) Never again..

Sorry cannot recommend as a steak house. Roberts advertised as a NYC steakhouse experience, but presentation of steak was undesirable. Our steak was sliced down in the kitchen and put under a heat lamp changing the temperature and providing a dissappointing presentation. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Roberts and while we liked the atmosphere the meal was a disappointment. Our steak cost $110, a price that demands a more considerate presentation.

Great food and service every time we eat at Roberts! The bone in NY Strip can be cut with a butterknife. Before dinner, happy hour is the best with top shelf drinks at only $9.00 with a free appetizer it can't be beaten.

Bad table from unfriendly hostess. Great food. Nice waiter. Food runners were weak too.

Oysters were fresh & cut perfectly, all the steaks & sides were excellent and perfectly cooked. Our server Al was a real pro! The only complaint is that the dining room smells like cigarette smoke. After a couple cocktails we kinda forgot about it.

Very nice place. Everyone was very pleasant. Everyone had a smile. Food was good. Couldn't eat the rolls because the were still frozen in the middle.

We stayed at the taj for the weekend and decided to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Roberts. Waiter was very friendly. We ordered oysters which were delicious! We had to order another round. For main course i ordered the filet mignon special which came with encrusted mushroom and mashed potato, it was to die for. My boyfriend ordered just an 8oz filet mignon said it was good but a bit too chewey, but ordered a side of mac and cheese and said that it was fantastic! The place is very fancy looking and has comfortable booths.

We tried Robert's as a special treat for date night. The food was very good, service provided by Christine was excellent. Tuna Plancha was good and the Filet topped with crab was excellent. Food prices were high; wine prices were excessive. Good meal but poor value.
