Robert's Maine Grill

We went to Robert’s on a date night. Had oysters for the first time. Loved the local feel and the wonderful service.

As always the food was excellent. Drinks were excellent. Best selection of oysters! Fish & chips was delicious & great size portion.

We will be back again!

We eat at Robert’s regularly. I know they changed hands several years ago and COVID is an incredible challenge but it has never returned to its former glory. It’s used to be a special place with outstanding food and service but now we have resigned ours to the average experience we receive. And we will continue to patronize. It fills an important niche in the marketplace and could be so much better. I hate to be critical during these challenging times, but a food and service upgrade is needed based on Robert’s price point and potential.

We had a great time there. My daughter who goes to school in Maine could not wait to get a good meal and Robert's Maine Grill did not disappoint us. Thanks for making it a fun night.

Great food. The grilled scallops and oysters were amazing. We have been there dozens of times and have never been disappointed!

AMAZING! Hubby had the Lobster roll with butter, so sweet and tender! I enjoyed the Grilled Scallops with sweet potatoes, spinach, crispy potatoes and the bacon cream sauce. It was the best ever! Service was excellent can't wait to go again!

Great food, fabulous cocktails and excellent service. It almost felt ‘normal’ being out in the real world.

Flew in from Michigan and enjoyed lunch 2 days in a row! This is a favorite when we visit Maine!

The hot buttered lobster roll was excellent. The onion rings were good and the batter was tasty but twice as thick as I would have liked.
Oysters 🦪 on the half shell are always fresh and delicious.
Try the Blueberry lemonade mock tail.
It’s delicious!

Service was exceptional and the food was fresh and very well prepared. Lobster Cobb Salad is a treat for the eyes as well as the stomach.

1st lunch out in a VERY LONG TIME.

We had a lovely waitress and she did her very best despite the bartender taking over 20 minutes to make a couple of cocktails. The food was very good. I wish I knew our waitresses name because she deserves a pat on the back!

Had a great lunch here. A bit pricey for a quick lunch. We had 2 chowders, 1 calamari appetizer we both had a beer flight. And I also got 4 chilled oysters........Total cost was $101.00 with tip included.
So......2 chowders, 2 beer flights, 1 appetizer, 4 shucked oysters was $101 and a good too to our server. We never left the appetizer portion of the menu with the exception of 4 oysters and they were 3 each. We will go back again but will know now it'll be $100 bucks or more to eat an entree there. Most of the entrees were 25 to 48 dollars.

Robert's is a consistently satisfying place to eat dinner. This particular moment my kids and I were there for a late lunch. The atmosphere is great, the wait staff is super friendly, and the food is always delicious.

They are so customer oriented and nice at this spot. Definitely complete your kittery shopping day with some good dinner or take a shopping lunch break mid day here !

We always enjoy eating at Robert’s Maine Grill. Our favorite is Glidden oysters and crab cakes!

Would highly recommend for informal ambience and good eats!

Valentines

We decided to go for a romantic dinner. We had lobster Mac and cheese filiet mignon oysters and five drinks. The bill was only twice as much as a fast food resteraunt the night before. And the food was to die for. This is a three hour trip to go there and it was every bit worth it. I can not wait to go again

We chose to eat here by browsing for restaurants on OpenTable. Not being from the area the menu made it seem like a safe and simple place to go. From walking in the door the host staff was polite and although we could see their faces, it appears we were met with a smile. After being seated our server Diana was great! She was personable and recommended certain things off the specials for Valentines Day weekend. After selecting our options, we were very pleased with our choices. I would highly recommend going here for someone not sure of where to eat in the area. Great food and Great service!

Excellent service from staff. The food was amazing. Every bit worth what we paid. We will definitely return on our next trip.

One of the best quality raw bar’s that I’ve experienced! Salad greens & veggies were fresh. Seafood entree’s delicious!

Roberts has some of the best seafood in Maine. The restaurant is comfortable with a great view. Be sure to try the chocolate espresso martini!

A little pricey but the food and atmosphere was fantastic.

Roberts Maine Grill is has been one of our favorite restaurants for years now. We love the lobster rolls. The lobster meat is so fresh. We also love the steamers in Allagash beer with garlic. Food is always awesome and the service is excellent. I would highly recommend dining at Roberts any time.

We discovered Robert's last summer on a day trip, and have been back half a dozen times since - even though it's 70 miles away! Each time the food and service were excellent. They have handled the Covid protocols very well and we felt just as comfortable eating indoors as we did last summer under their big tent.

Food was amazing! Drinks even better! First time our daughter had lobster and she tore it up!

Waitress was nice but appeared very rushed! Couldn’t be attentive but perhaps the restaurant was short staffed.

Food is always great. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is nice and quiet.

From the oysters to the lobster sliders, absolute perfection. Can’t wait to visit again!

If you’re looking for seafood, especially raw oysters, this is a great place to go. Great food, beautiful setting, excellent service.

The food was fabulous! Oysters are the best in so. Maine & New Hampshire. We travel over an hour to eat here as often as possible. Everything we have eaten has been wonderful.

Social distancing is being observed. Plenty of space between diners.

I wish I lived closer.

great food and location , had Main Fried cheese, lots of fresh, tasty seafood. The staff was friendly and respectful to covid guidelines. I have eaten here once prior to covid as well. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would come again.

We've been here several times. Unfortunately this was probably our last. Ordered our food - Oysters, shrimp, lobster bisque, braised short ribs with lobster tail, drinks.. food was delivered to our table, only to realize we did not have anything to eat it with. About 2 minutes later the waitress asked how our food was. Told her we did not have anything to eat it with. Instead of an apology, received an excuse. The bisque was blah and had some macaroni in it. The braised ribs - might have well ordered a $38 beef stew. The lobster tail was dry and overcooked. Half way through dinner ordered new drinks. They came after we finished the meal, only to be mentioned with another excuse why it took so long. The oysters were good however. Left a note for the waitress, still left a tip. Very diappointing to look forward to a meal you can only afford once a year.
