Dined with family- the meal was wonderful. Waitress was very nice! Only thing to mention is that the scallops were a little on the small side for the overall cost. I would suggest increasing the size or add a few more to the plate. Other than that we had a very nice time and will be back.
We had a very pleasant dinner. My wife and I came to Robert's Crossing for our 31st Anniversary. The dinner, the atmosphere, and the server were all fantastic! For dinner, my wife had the Horseradish Encrusted Salmon, and I had the Parmesan Halibut. Both were delicious. We ended up sharing each other's food. Our server was Jordan, and she was wonderful!
Thank you for a great evening
Always great. Good food, fine service and a pleasant experience.
This restaurant is a gorgeous place to eat. The food was exceptional and not as expensive as some other places could be. I had a small filet on my first visit and it was perfectly tender and flavorful. On my next visit, I had a large Caesar salad with blackened salmon and it was also perfectly seasoned. They have a full range of choices for entrees. The wine list is long. The Tempranillo was local and fabulous. The appetizer menu is also long and varied. The shrimp cocktail was tender and juicy and the horseradish is real. The building has a rich history and they’ve incorporated hardware and details from the old general store it used to be. The owner came by our table and explained the history to us and answered a bunch of questions that I had. We’ve decided that we’ll be regulars so we can try everything on the menu and enjoy the calm, quiet, cozy atmosphere.
Wonderful valentines dinner. Place was packed but service was prompt. We left full and happy! Will be back.
The day before Valentie Day was a perfect time to dine at Robert's Crossing. We both had salmon dishes with assorted vegetables, all cooked to perfection. The wait staff were both pleasant and efficient.
All four of us had a great meal and dining experience except that my halibut was overcooked I think due to a delay in serving two of us. Good place with good food.
When you would like to give your wife a special evening for her birthday. I search for a venue that was capable of making that happen. It has been many years since I last dined at this establishment but I did remember having a wonderful time there. I hoped that nothing had changed in the time that had passed.
I was not disappointed. Robert's Crossing was even better! I am a very finicky diner. I expect excellence in my choice of restaurants. This establishment provided what I expected. A quiet, intimate, evening of great food in a special environment. Our waitress Taylor made our evening even more special and attended to our every need with a pleasant demeanor. What a great evening!
We live close to Roberts Crossing and have been coming in since early 2014. Menu hasn't changed much, and at 1 point we stopped coming in because of the slowly diminishing customer service and seemed like the cook had lost their passion. However, after visiting recently past couple years.. this establishment has gained its greatness back :) The Staff is very welcoming and accommodating! We will definitely be coming back!!
Consistently good food, quiet enough to have a conversation, lovely ambiance!!
Food was delicious, service was knowledgeable and prompt.
Our family celebrated my husband's birthday on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Our server was Kristie and she was awesome. The entire experience was 5 stars from the time we walked in the door. Kristie was friendly and knowledgable. Out starters came out quickly and our main courses were hot and perfectly cooked. Of course, since it was Karlos' birthday he enjoyed your yummy cheese cake. We will be back and you are lucky to have Kristie represent you!
Great meal. Great service. Our first time there. Will return. Highly recommend.
Service sucked
I would recommend being seated away from large tables as the crowd next to us drowned out our conversation. Server was superb but my steak had too much fat for the price. Other than that, it was enjoyable.
We celebrated our anniversary with a very nice dinner. They accommodated my gluten issue easily. We brought our own wine for the occasion and they corked it for $13. We were given a complimentary dessert for our anniversary.
On New Years Eve we decided to dress up and go out to dinner. It was our first time here. Food, ambiance and service were excellent. Will definitely go back.
Great dining experience. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was amazing!
FOOR WAS GOOD AND prepared interestingly' Only complaint- table of 8 - very noisy. They should have been seated elsewhere or we should have been offered the opportunity to move. C. Olson
We went early before the restaurant got busy and noisy. So, if you like to visit, go early.
Enjoyed our dinner on Friday. We were greeted with a smile and immediately seated. Our server was friendly, answered any questions we had. Our meal was fantastic, my husbands cut of meat almost cut with his fork, my halibut was to die for. Everything done to the dessert was excellent.
Will come again.
Our event and the food was great. Parking lot needs to be paved and lit a bit better.
Excellent dinner spot! We enjoyed the food and drink!
Great ambience good food very nice people and good service. Can’t wait for new location in Albany OR late spring 2020
Very enjoyable. The Server was a delight!! It was a special romantic night for our anniversary.
Pros -
* Service was friendly, helpful, and attentive (even with all the tables full)
* Menu has a variety of options, making it easier for someone like me (who doesn't like change) to try
something new.
* Food came quickly and while (for myself) it wasn't amazing, it was definitely good. My wife has a less-
pedestrian palate than I do though, and she thoroughly enjoyed her meal.
* Noise level was no more than you would expect from a busy restaurant. There was little to no noise
from the attached bar, no obvious noise from the kitchen, and no parking lot/street traffic noise.
Cons -
* Parking lot was a bit confusing for me (not knowing there was a separate bar entrance, no clear
marking (at least at night) for where the dining room entrance was) and having only 1 handicap spot
was a bit of a letdown, especially with the restaurant being on an incline from the parking lot.
My wife and I found no reason why we would not come back again.
Really nice atmosphere and staff, good food, easy parking - what's not to like!
My dinner was fabulous! I had the sea scallops with crab and risotto! It was delicious!
There's a pretty small menu. Prices are high. The food was generally good, but the Caesar salad was absolutely drenched in dressing.
As I recall, Allison was the name of our server. Knowledgeable about all the dishes and cocktails, friendly without being too "familiar," attended to our needs without hovering, very good-natured... all-in-all, a real gem.
The 4 of us each had different menu items, and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. I ordered the Pear Tree cocktail, which was a light and delicious drink to enjoy with the appetizer of roasted garlic and baked brie. My horseradish-encrusted salmon was moist, fresh, and seasoned & cooked to perfection. The other 3 people had Chicken Saltimbocca, Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo, and Bone-In Pork Chop. All excellent.
Creme brulee was very good, as usual, and was kindly given to me by the restaurant as a birthday gift.
We enjoyed ourselves, and being able to hear each other talk, so much that we lingered for 2 hours. They were not exceptionally busy that Saturday night, but also never once made us feel rushed. We will certainly be back.
A nice neighborhood type of restaurant. Venue and menu not out of the ordinary. Service and food quality fully acceptable.
The service was attentive and the food was amazing, I had a fillet steak that was cooked to perfection!
Was very impressed with the food so good! It’s one of very view fine dinning places in town so it’s obviously more spendy but so worth it!
Great food and service. Eaten here probably 20 times and it’s always great!
Noise level does not allow for a normal conversation at your table. Mac and cheese had onion or garlic skins in it. When staff was told they didn’t appear to be very concerned.
Excellent, as always. Chef or seasonal special would be a pleasant addition to the usual fare.
First time visiting the restaurant. Very good all around experience. Some folks eat in the bar area which is a nice option to the main restaurant
Amazing place and the best atmosphere in town. Servers are amazing and food is superb!
We are frequent diners at this restaurant. Tonight we made an Open Table reservation and had a great table. My wife had an excellent Caesar salad to start, and I had a just OK beef stew. Her entree was a salmon encrusted with horseradish, which she enjoyed, although she did not like the cream cheese. I had the meatloaf. I was very disappointed. It was a somewhat hard, overbreaded meat loaf slice covered in a mushroom sauce. While the sauce was ok, the meatloaf itself was underspiced and needed more meat than bread and onions. The mashed potatoes seemed instant, though they were not, and the amount of garlic in the haricot verts made it hard to eat. I would not order this again. The limoncello parfait was just average and low on the lemon. Overall, a disappointing meal for me and an average one for my wife.
Food was excellent. Had cheese plate for appetizer, salad and the seafood soup. My husband had lamb cannoli we topped it off with desserts: lemon trifle and he had apple peach crisp with vanilla ice cream. Great dinner!
