Food is VERY Good, however they just don't handle the reservations very well. We had 7:00 reservations and didn't get seated until 7:50. Had to stand in a very crowded bar area and wasn't kept up to date or informed of what the situation was. We went up 3 times to ask about our table. The waiter was nice but very busy. Food took a very long time to get to our table. We were sat at a table in the bar also. Very loud and crowded with people looking over us. The manager came over at the end and asked us how things were and we told him the issues. He offered a free desert which was nice. We've been here before but it was a while ago and was looking forward to coming again. Don't think we'll make an effort to come back though. So many other places to choose from that give better service and keep the reservations on time.
Food was very good. Our server Patricia was not in a good mood and she was at best surly to us.
The noise in the restaurant was extremely loud.
Our table was crammed up against another table.
Food and service were very good. Italian and American entrees. I had Tilapia -very good.
Husband had sausage and pasta, also very good. Many wine selections.
Best soup ever!
Perfect for our dinner, great food, atmosphere, and service. Thank you Roberto's
Next best thing to actually dining in old Italy!
Fantastic veal chop
Went for a birthday dinner. Fantastic rapport with our waiter. Price scared us at first but the food was completely worth the price! Can’t wait to go back to try something else!
Best Italian cuisine!
Our server didn’t make us feel welcome ! No attention to detail ! We love the food
It was a quiet Monday evening - service and food was great as usual
By far the best Italian restaurant in the western suburbs.
Soups are delicious!
Always an extraordinary experience. Great atmosphere, superb service and excellent cuisine. Roberto's is a real gem. We will continue dining at Roberto's as long as possible
Both my wife Tracey and I experienced Roberto’s for the first time in February and fell in love with the whole dining experience. Giovanni was an absolute joy as our server. Very knowledgeable of the menu and when asked questions about a particular wine that he didn’t know he conferred with a colleague to give us the taste we desired.
For this experience we bought the family together for an Easter celebration. Giovanni was again spot on. Service, food, atmosphere and sound level were perfect.
Food serving was timed perfect during every course and our glasses were never empty. Most importantly for this family gathering, we were never rushed.
Everyone enjoyed their meals. The Veal Parm especially was a hit, the best we have ever had. The Calamari was just a bit overdone but still tasty. All the deserts rocked!
We will definitely be back again and again.
Thank you Roberto’s for this neighborhood gem.
Bob & Tracey
great pizza and a great beefsteak tomato salad
Great place to dine for special occasions or any night of the week.
Soups are delicious! Tastes like Grandma must be in the kitchen!
Perfect food and atmosphere
Fantastic restaurant. Food was excellent, service was impeccable, wine menu was extensive, drinks were generous. Absolutely fantastic dining experience. Will certainly be back again!
Love it more and more each time I go!
Fine food, service and ambience. The best the western suburbs have to offer.
Great food and service. We were right next to the kitchen door which was fine. Our server Patricia was excellent and fun
Good food. A little pricey. Service was excellent and wine list good
If you love Italian, this is the place to eat!
Roberto’s is a must visit when near Elmhurst or Oak Brook. The food is perfectly prepared. While I come here for the great food, the ambiance and camaraderie around the bar with the locals is amazing. Everyone is sooo welcoming & friendly. Hana is AWESOME at the bar. I will keep coming back.
The food at Roberto's is always well-prepared, presented, and seasoned. There are many creative takes on traditional Italian food as well as an affordable wine list and a variety of great desserts.
The manager (50’s) was a complete jerk after we had to wait over an hour to be served our food. Came to our table and asked if when we were going to leave. At that point, we had asked to see a dessert menu, ordered and hadn’t yet been served our dessert. The manager then returned and asked again with an eye roll! Completely rude and we’d be happy to leave after we were served and ate our $300+ dollar meal! But I guess he thought differently.
Great food and service. Staff is very friendly and helpful
The thin crust pizza had a pretty thick crust - not their best effort. We've ordered pizza here before and loved it; that's why we went. We ordered 2 CUPS of soup, a 16" pizza and 1 glass of Diet pop and our bill with the tip was over $50. That seems a bit too much for pizza.
in th neighborhood and eat there all the time. Love seeing friends from around the neighborhood and the food is always good although a little pricey
White starched tablecloths and napkins. Great service and selection of authentic Italian dishes. Pricey, but worth every Lira.
Nice ambiance but I felt the menu was pricey for the items served. I used to eat there often and since it’s been awhile, decided to try it again. Overall, a nice experience, good service, but could have been a better value for the food we ate
The restaurant was crowded, but the noise level we’d not an issue.
This place has a varied menu and convenient parking.
The pasta sauce is to die for.
A great Italian restaurant.
Great food, friendly staff and nice ambience
After a movie at the York Theatre, we love to come to Roberto's. The food is reliably excellent, they are super friendly and the atmosphere is lively yet relaxing.
Outstanding service and the food is perfectly prepared. Clean, elegant, professional and much appreciated.
Love the Lagana. Love the soup. Love the ambiance.
