Roberto's Ristorante & Pizzeria Ratings and Reviews
What a wonderful evening at Roberto's. One of the best Italian restaurant we have been too. The food and service was exceptionally good. Our waiter Joe knew we weren't in a hurry and didn't rush us in between courses. He was very knowledgeable of menu and wine. So accommodating. Can't wait to come back.
The evening we visited was Sat before Christmas. The place was packed and whilst we were seated immediately and given a warm welcome, it was clear the wait staff were overloaded. Our server or rather servers were not well informed of the menu (which is huge). My order for a veal chop a la Milanese was delivered as veal masala, it had 2 under cooked potatoes as accompaniment. My wife's dish of grilled seafood was over cooked the octopus and calamari tough and chewy and only luke warm.
This was our second visit and disappointing after our previous experience. That was at lunch time, and very quiet. Then our waiter was superb and the food excellent. Clearly the Saturday evening rush overwhelmed both staff and kitchen.
We will go back as it is a lovely restaurant and can prepare fine food, but not on a weekend evening.
We have been dining at Roberto's for years, we've celebrated anniversary's, birthday's, met friends for dinner or a date night with my wife. Never had a bad meal and the service is always superb. On this visit our server was Caitlyn she was Great ! We drive from the city to go to this restaurant.
Apparently reservations don't mean anything here. Was told our wait would be at least a half an hour when we arrived on time. The hostess seemed very frazzled and not sure who he was but the man seating people was quite gruff with her and this was not a good introduction to the restaurant. Can't comment on the food as we turned around and walked out.
We started with carpaccio and a caprese salad. Both were delicious. Two of us had the special whitefish. It was served with the most delicious mashed potatoes. The fish was also excellent. My sister in laws both had rigatoni Roberto. It was flavorful and lightly sauced. Both enjoyed the dish. My brother in law had the risotto of the day. It was the only dish that was bland and insipid. All in all a pleasant meal.
I think this is our 5th visit after being recommended by a friend. Every meal has been fantastic from the home made Italian specials to the seafood. Roberto's has quickly become one of our favorites. Rey has taken care of us many times and we now ask for him - great personality, sense of humor and service! We just joined their rewards club which is also a great deal! Take home a pizza to try too - one of the best!
This beautiful restaurant was suggested to us by a very close friend of the family. We were greeted when we walked in by an employee that had been there for several years and he could not have been kinder. It was very important for us to be comfortable and I felt that coming from him. I have ordered many times from this restaurant's take home menu, however I must say that dining in this exquisite restaurant was much more than I expected. Our food was delicious.and it was a very eye pleasing presentation. I certainly will return for this experience again!
Delicious food served in a friendly fun atmosphere. I had the lobster ravioli which was great. Menu choices have increased and there’s a very good selection. Desserts were wonderful and I wish I had known that chocolate soufflé was available so I could have ordered it at the beginning .
We love Roberto's! but since we live almost 40 miles from it we don't get to go there often...but when we do, never disappointed! our server was Giovani on a Saturday night and he was EXCELLENT!!! we all really liked him, attentive, funny, perfect timing and he gave us good information and options. Ask for Giovani when you go!!! Excellent food...excellent calamari, excellent beer and drinks! my husband was thrilled because we had been in Italy in the summer and Roberto's had an Italian beer that he drank in Rome...he was happy to be able to get it again with dinner...Highly Recommend!
We had a 5:30p reservation and were promptly seated. We sat at our corner table until 6pm. Our waiter was busily serving the table to our left and the table to our right (2 couples that arrived about 5-10 minutes AFTER us). He made absolutely no effort to address us. At 6pm we left.
We had a great experience on September 30. We were greeted professionally and had great service. The food was a match for the great service and ambience. Roberto's really has their act together for a superior ding experience. We are looking forward to our next visit.
