Our waiter Jose was so hard working and excellent ! He made our experience better! He was very accommodating! We had a big party and spoke with 2 managers before the dinner. I was told initially there was no family style then when we got to the restaurant a manager offered family style, at that point it was too late as guests were arriving and we had some in our party with food issues. We were disappointed in the portion size for salad and disappointment in management and differing messages. We have always loved Roberto’s and used catering often! Management could have done better! Thanks to Jose and kitchen for making our evening better!

Met some friends at Roberto’s for dinner and had a great time - the tables are laid out so close together and with the entertainment (singer) they have (who was quite enjoyable though) - the noise level was a little on the high side 😳. We started with Espresso Martinis as we waited for our table- once seated we had a small pizza as an appetizer, then Pork Chop Vesuvio, Veal Chop Vesuvio and Gnocchi w/vodka sauce- everything was excellent!! Our waiter and the staff did a nice job.

We haven't been here for years. Not sure why, but maybe because it was good, but not great. We each had a cup of pasta fagioli, good, but we've certainly had better. Husband had pasta with Bolognese, said it was very good. I had whitefish, good, but last on my list of 4 other recent whitefish dinners. The whitefish came with asparagus, and when I asked for grilled vegetables instead, I was told I would be charged extra. I pointed out that vegetables were less expensive than asparagus on the menu, and said forget it. Server came back and acted like she was doing me a big favor getting the substitute without a charge. Maybe just treat your customers fairly in the first place? Prices are on the high side, but typical these days.

Great new menu items. No better outdoor venue in all of Elmhurst. Top three DuPage restaurants for sure!
