Dario is a nice guy. Vito, too!
the best Veal in the chicagoland area menu items are a little pricey but the service and the food make Robertoe's a great place for a meal Will be back soon
I ordered the eggplant Parmesan which was as dry as shoe leather. It tasted like it was frozen and then microwave. I then ordered gnocchi with bolognese sauce which was good. For the prices charged everything should be freshly made!
Hannah is super-duper!
Great service!! Great time and ambiance. Great attention, food and people.
The minestrone is out of this world!
I don't know about Mario. He always brings food looking sloppy, with food over the edge of the bowl. I don't think he likes me. I don't know why he treats us so poorly. Everyone else at Roberto's treats us so nice!
Roberto's offers excellent Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. My wife and I have enjoyed both pasta and meat entrees - Tortellini with Alfredo sauce, Lasagna, Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Saltimbocca - that are delicious and cooked to perfection.
Service, especially on Saturday night is slow, because the restaurant is extremely busy with walk-ins waiting for a table. Reservations are recommended.
Roberto's is one of our go to places.
Been here many times and always consistent in food quality. Tried rack of lamb for the first time, not good...was overcooked and tough...was disappointed.
Wonderful food and excellent service.
Our waitress Patricia was not very pleasant. I sure hope I don't get her as a server again.
My salmon was way over cooked. Maybe it was left under the heat lamp too long. I told her about it being overcooked. She didn't care at all. She asked me if I wanted to take it home. I told her no because it was terrible. She just took it back with her and had it packed for me to take home anyhow.
The first table they sat us at was THE SMALLEST table imagineable. We wanted appetizers and drinks and there is no way they would have had room on this table. It was in a weird spot right by the walk way too. Seems like they threw it and a few others like it in there to get as much seating as possible. We asked to be moved to a bigger table. They did thank god. This table was a lot better. The “bread” plates at this table however were dirty and def used from the people before us and there was olive oil stain on the paper table cloth from whoever was there before us too. Service was extremely slow. When they finally brought bread they didn’t bring the cheese or olive oil we had to ask for it and by the time they brought it we were already finished with the bread. Took forever to get a drink or a refill. Ordered a drink when I got my main dish and it didn’t come until I was finished and our meal was already wrapped up. The food was good but nothing to brag about. We won’t be back.
Great food and great waitress.
The sauces! Delicious! Scrumptious! This ain't Ragu! It's the real deal!
Roberto’s is one of our favorite restaurants & have been there several times & have always enjoyed the place& the food. Saturday night was no different. Our server, Joe was at his finest. Attentive , friendly and accommodating. All 4 in our party totally enjoyed our food choices. Veal saltimbocca is how I judge Italian restaurants and Robertos is high on my list for that! Large delicious portion that I highly recommend.
Saturday night was very busy and the wait for our meals was a little long. This didn’t bother us because we were in no hurry but for others it may be a negative. Food prices are reasonable for the large portions you receive. Only complaint for me is that the alcoholic beverages are I feel, a tad overpriced. Other than that this will remain one of our favorite restaurants.
Mr. Veto is such a nice guy. Dario is, too!
The only issue was we felt like we were being rushed and there were empty tables
We found the food to be good but not outstanding. My husband had the salmon and I had the chicken scallopine. We had a chocolate (can't remember the name) with ice cream dessert that was very good. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant.
The special appetizer rappini soup was excellent!
Seasonal squash soup is delicious!
Fabio was our waiter and excellent. Enjoy going to this restaurant. Consistently good.
Had a wonderful experience
The minestrone tasted watered down and the bar was full of noisy drunks. I think Roberto's is going down-hill which is too bad as it used to be a classy place. What happened?
Delicious pizza! Tasty!
Went with some friends, it was their first time. Really had a great time. Nice atmosphere. friendly waiter. really great food. Lemoncello dessert , fantastic.
We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday.
The food and service we very good.
Portions are generous. You will not leave the restaurant feeling hungry!
Roberto's pizza crust is the finest. Plus quality ingredients make it delicious. Roberto's = Great Pizza!
Tony was excellent as our server! He was very attentive and personable. Food quality and portions were outstanding! Overall a wonderful evening!!!! When we return before the sights of Chicago, this will be our first stop.
Great place, but not worthy of a $50 steak, needs more mid range price beef.
best veal in the chicagoland area. service was a little slow but nice to see a full house a neighborhood gem will be back
Excellent squash soup.
Excellent pasta fagoli.
Eat here. It will make you happy!
Extremely authentic Italian restaurant. Everytime I'm in the western suburbs, I'm sure to make time for dinner at Roberto's!
Outstanding service from our bartender.
Very good food
Service was ok
Local, friendly place, indeed.
We had an outstanding evening! At the bar no less for dinner. The food was excellent, as was the service.
Home cooked Italian food with a lovely dining room & personable staff. I have never been disappointed with the meal or the service.
Sadly, the minestrone was basically all potatoes--no vegetables. This was disappointing as the last time I had the minestrone it was chocked full of vegetables. I left most of the potatoes in the bowl.
