We have dined at Roberto's numerous times when staying in Ogunquit. If you love Italian food as we do then Roberto's is a must. The Osso Buco is superb.
Casual and comfortable. Good food and plenty of it! End of the season and staff seemed weary. Did not impact their pleasantness.
Very busy, the waiting was almost too long but in the end the exquisite food made it work. We had the veal picata and the halibut, both excellent choices.
Very Nice menu. Food was delicious I had homemade paparadelle w/Lobster in vodka sauce
Whenever we visit Ogunquit we always make a reservation at Roberto’s! Quality food, great wine and generous cocktail and wine portions. We really appreciate the consistently great quality food.
If a waiter spilled a glass of wine right into your lap and all over the table and floor wouldn’t you expect an apology? Not at Roberto’s! While the waiter & his coworker cleaned up the mess they didn’t say one word. The waiter then said ‘I have no idea how that happened.’ There was no apology or offer to bring another glass of wine or deduct it from the bill. He acted like it didn’t happen.
I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was just average and the service was the worst I’ve ever had.
Roberto’s has gone down hill —I have been a customer for decades yet this year is a big disappointment. Bread is terrible and food mediocre. I think the owner is going for quantity crowds vs. quality food.
Server was great but not backed by kitchen.
Overall very good experience. Food and service were excellent. The acoustics were a bit loud (could use carpeting or curtains perhaps). The parking lot was difficult to get out of as the valet service couldn't handle all the vehicles quickly enough...it's a nice service to offer, but it seemed to clog up the entrance area. (I would just as soon park my own car). Would come back again!
Our waiter Michael gave good service and had a nice personality. He was charming.
excellent value early bird specials, attentive staff and delicious food. somewhat noisy due to the proximity of the bar area, but in all a pleasant dining experience.
Great meal with friends and would recommend to others interested in fine Italian dining.
Visited for 34th Wedding Anniversary. Extraordinary dinner. Best service from Gabriella. Just a wonderful evening for us. We visit Ogunquit yearly and are already looking forward to having our 35th Wedding Anniversary dinner at Roberto's!
Roberto's was an absolutely delicious dining experience. From the carpaccio and garlic bread to the seafood risotto. Everything was wonderful and I would definitely go back.
We have been going to Robertos for many years. First time not thrilled with the food. All three dinners lacked flavor.
We were seated next to a large party with a very loud laugher. We were not the only diners that were aware of this.
Perhaps the chef was having a off night.
The food and service was good. You do get a good portion of food for the price. We liked what we got, but the food is just good not great.
I went here while vacationing with my sister in Ogunquit. Roberto's is a lovely spot. The food was very good and the staff friendly, helpful, and accomodating of dietary restrictions. I will definitely come back to Ogunquit and Roberto's.
Amazing Food and Outstanding Service! Great Evening
Beautiful presentations, the finest fresh ingredients and flawless cooking in a comfortable setting. A really terrific place to meet with friends for dinner. The regular menu is extensive and the list of daily specials almost as long. The four of us ordered different apps and dinners all of them were outstanding. I will return
We make a trip to Ogunquit twice a year and this is one of our favorite restaurants. This visit was as good as usual. I'd have to say our server was probably a little better than others. I believe her name was Marina and she could not have been nicer. Attentive without being pushy, pleasant without being robotic or insincere. The ambience is warm and cozy.
Fantastic meal as always. Love the atmosphere here.
My mom & I dined here over the weekend. We had a reservation. The poor valet guy was so overwhelmed because parking there is a nightmare. The least the restaurant could do was hire 2 valet attendants. When you arrive in the restaurant it's cozy-- busy atmosphere. The menu is large which was intriguing. I ordered the veal parm. The veal was so overcooked that the it was tough to eat & their sauce reminded me of Pragu or Ragu. It was very tart & did not taste like authentic Italian whatsoever. My mom liked her veal Marsala. The sauce was delicious. Overall it was kind of a disappointment. I was hoping for delicious Italian & this was only subpar
Excellent bar tender
Very good Italian food in the heart of Ogunquit Village. We enjoyed a delicious meal before going to the Playhouse which was a short walk from the restaurant. Great service and valet parking too!
We have been visiting Roberto's for the past 18 years on our anniversary. Wonderful atmosphere and great food -perhaps our favorite Italian restaurant ever !!!
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Roberto's. Great food and great service. The place was packed by 7pm, indicating that many others love the place!
This was our 1st visit to a place we've driven by many times ...the food was terrific and the wait staff very pleasent and efficient....we will be back!
Nice restaurant, however the menu is a bit limited in typical Italian fare and prices are high.
Very generous portions. Waiter was attentive and professional.
Would most certainly visit again when in the area.
old people in dinning room had too much perfume on
Food was good. Open table app worked great, got right in on a busy night. One Major downfall - after our appitizers arrived, it took over an hour before our main course was served ( which we ordered at the same time as the appetizers) Just standard pasta dishes were ordered. Also, parking was a nightmare.
Food is ok but it is painfully slow. Really loud there too. After an almost 75 minute wait for food, one meal was overcooked and another was missing the sides. Those sides came after we were done with the meal. Waiter was very good to recognize our frustration and offered complimentary dessert, which was appreciated.
My previous visit was very similar to this one unfortunately.
Too bad...as I think the food is actually pretty good.... but we won't be back.
Alway great food & sevice, this sat. The wait staff was exceptional and it was labor day weekend.
Delicious Italian meal. The Minestrone Soup was superior in flavor and ingredients. Numerous traditional entrees. Many dessert choices. Wines were excellent.
Will definitely return when we are in Ogunquit.
Food is always great! Very busy and noisy tonight, but our waiter was great and we enjoyed the energy.
I love that restaurant, the food is great! But unfortunately the service was very bad at my last visit... the waiter was rude , forgot to bring water, my glass of wine, mistake in our order and we waited 65 minutes before we got our food...
Disappointing meal with my wife. Much better options in Ogunquit.
We had an enjoyable, delicious dinner...only downside was found the noise level was a little high in the room we sat in...service was great!!!
Always a special occasion but great for any day as well.
Noise level is excessive. The pasta is papardelle not papadelle as printed on menu.
A friend recommended Roberto's and I was not disappointed. Our waitress, Anna, was wonderful. The food was delicious. Drinks were good. I would love to go back for another meal if I'm visiting the area again.
