We ate there twice, 7/21 and 7/23, even though I was not given credit for Friday, 7/21, on Open Table.

The food was Very good, service was very good and professional as well. The place is clean and always busy! Looking forward to visiting again next year.

I made a reservation through open table. We arrived 15 minutes, had a drink at the bar until the table was ready, at the time I asked for. The service was great. Justin was our waiter. The food was equally as good. I would recommend Robertos.

Each and every time we dine here I am more than satisfied with the overall experience. The food is really delicious. The cocktails and wine list are extensive and always more than expected. The waitstaff are very accommodating, with several gems. Even if just going out for a meal, it consistently turns into a great time with no rush whatsoever to get you out the door. A great place for great food.

Overall disappointed in the food. Rack of lamb was very fatty. The mussels tasted like low tide. We had an 8:15 reservation and were seated at 8:40.

One hour and ten minutes before we got our dinner. Whe complained about the delay and we never got one excuse. We where volontarily ignored. When we left, we where asked not to recommend Roberto's to our friends and to never return to the restaurant. Indifference is their trademark. The restaurant is full so they can afford to discard a customer. In May, 15 customers in the restaurant, they where happy to have us. Conclusion, shut up, wait, DONT COMPLAIN and pay. Dont forget the 20% tip. The best restaurant in Ongunquit is Joshua in Wells??? Oups!

There were 3 of us and we were seated right away. The menu was standard Italian at reasonable prices. Service was very slow. Not from the waiter but out of the kitchen He apologised several times saying a couple of large parties had set the kitchen back. In any event 40 minutes between app and entree is too long.

The food was good. Nothing we had was note worthy but a good value and taste.

We had high hopes but were disappointed. The eggplant was two thin slices with some cheese and cooked until leathery, inedible. The lamb was ordered med rare came rare, the oysters rock were oysters with creamed spinach ontop. Won't be going back

Food was excellent; good portions. Service by the staff was excellent as well. Our server was attentive to our requests. The dinner specials between 5 and 6pm are a tremendous value and served us well. I took my dear friend of over 50 years to Roberto's to celebrate her 70th birthday and then we went to Ogunquit Playhouse for the most wonderful and enjoyable musical Bullets over Broadway. I had done the same for a dear friend of over 50th years last Oct 2016 for her 70th birthday before we attended the Memphis Quartet at Ogunquit which was great. I highly recommend Roberto's.

Went after matinee performance for dinner. They readily accompanied a change in time. The waiter was attentive. The food was very well prepared. Menu is not only Italian or seafood.

Very disappointing. Arrived a few minutes early for our reservation at 8:00. Told we would have to wait, which we said no problem as we new we were early. Then hostess came to seat us and tried to put us in a table right next to the kitchen where there was a lot of traffic. We asked to wait for another table and that we would wait in the bar. After waiting 20 or more minutes (which was long after our 8:00 reservation) my husband went to inquire and the same hostess said to him "you had a reservation?", like she had never seen him before. Her indifference was unbelievable. We then were shown to a table by a window which was fine. Room was extremely noisy and loud. Waiter was ok, meal was adequate, but way too pricy for what we had. We go to Ogunquit often, and had never been here before. Will never go again. Never felt they cared whether we were there or not. We want to go where we are welcomed and our business is wanted.

Have been going to Roberto's for many years. It has always been expensive but the food quality and quantity were worth the cost. The atmosphere is very nice. This year, we again returned to satisfy a yen of two family members for lobster ravioli. What we found were much smaller portions in all meals, including an eggplant parmigian serving that was only about 1/4 "slice, about 5" long, and burned on the edges. The sauce layed on top tasted like canned sauce. We may consider this an "off" night, but will have to think a long time before returning again.

This is a gem in the heart of Ogunquit. Food is always excellent and atmosphere is great. Does have a few tables outside but we prefer inside. We made a reservation which we highly recommend in the night of the season.

My wife and I dined at Roberto's recently with two other couples. While we enjoyed the overall dining experience, the service was quite slow and our cocktails and meals took a long time to arrive. Our waiter was very pleasant and apologized for the delay, but the restaurant was very busy and he had difficulty keeping up with the number of tables assigned to him. The food quality was OK but nothing special. Since we had been there so long, we decided to pass on dessert. While we have dined at Roberto's many times previously, we may not return anytime soon.

Our visit to Roberto's was fora pre-show dinner and cocktails. They were wonderful in accommodating a large group. Service was excellent and prompt. All our dishes were great, the Shrimp Scampi appetizer definitely stood out. You can also eat at the bar, which makes great cocktails! I/we will be returning soon.

Hostess and support staff were good. Waiter was not attentive and the food was very bland. The pasta sauce was really watery and lacked flavor. I wouldn't complain about that at a steakhouse or a BBQ place, but this is supposed to be an Italian restaurant. You'd be hard pressed to find a dish that didn't get pasta sauce so it shouldn't be watery...

The initial dipping sauce and bread were good so we were excited to get our food. After an extremely long wait the waiter stopped by and got us more bread. We didn't see him again until we waived him down and handed him the credit card so we could leave...

Would have liked coffee or a drink refill, and since the food was so bland really wanted someone to come to the table and offer Parmesan cheese, salt, or pepper. (Not sure if they offer cheese?)

The food was brought out by random helper and that was it. We got to see the waiter when we left...

Service is always a little slow here. When you have somewhere to go (play) after dinner, make sure to tell them. Service was exceptionally slow this last visit. Food was very tasty though. And we were never offered bread which we thought was odd.

We have been to the restaurant several times and it was always good. This evening, we were seated right away, but it became very clear that the wait staff was straight out. We placed an order for an appetizer, which we never got. The dinner took a long time and as the waiter was running by, he said "your dinner should be out shortly". We told him we never received the appetizer and he said he never ordered it. So we told him to forget it and asked that it be removed from the bill.

We finally got our meals and the food quality was not good, my chicken parm was very tough. Waiter never asked whether we liked our meals, in fact he didn't come by at all to check on us.
To make matters worse, the bus people asked to clear the empty glasses off of our table because they were out of glasses. As I was handing the glasses over, an entire glass of wine spilled all over my dinner. My husband was able to retrieve the remainder of my soggy chicken parm and put it on his plate. One of the bus staff did bring over a clean dish, but needless to say - dinner was over. The wine that was spilled all over the floor remained a trip hazard, no one bothered to clean it up. They did replace the spilled glass of wine - but not sure if we paid for that additional glass or whether it was 'on the house' because no one ever bothered to say either way - it was just dropped off and the waiter just jogged off. Not going back.
