Roberto Paciullo opened his namesake restaurant almost twenty years ago. Since then it has become a neighborhood favorite and a destination for those visiting Arthur Avenue. He prepares the cuisine of his beloved hometown Salerno, Italy. The specials change weekly and reflect Roberto's creative use of the local ingredients from pasta in cartoccio to the perennial favorite veal osso buco.
Now closed Mondays for the time being.

There is street parking in front of the restaurant which is metered until 7pm. There is also a municipal lot between Arthur Ave. and Hoffman St. which is metered until 10pm.

    Mother's Day Dining Experience at Roberto's - Arthur Avenue, Bronx I had the pleasure of celebrating Mother's Day at Roberto's, nestled in the heart of Arthur Avenue, and it was truly a memorable experience. This gem perfectly blends old-school Italian charm with a modern culinary twist, offering dishes that are both comforting and elevated. The menu showcases authentic Italian flavors, and the wine selection is thoughtfully curated, with something to complement every dish. What stood out just as much as the food was the service--our wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire meal. From start to finish, the experience felt warm, flavorful, and full of heart--everything you hope for in a special celebration. Roberto's is a standout in the Bronx and a place I'll gladly return to for both everyday meals and special occasions.

    This was a real treat. Outstanding food. Highly recommend trying the specials the fresh pasta with truffles was amazing . We had the Pollo Spinaci ad Cotoletta di Vitello - both outstanding particularly the sauces. The desserts are excellent and highly recommend the Fragola with strawberries

    My family went to Roberto’s to celebrate Mother’s Day and we had a wonderful evening!!! The service was phenomenal and the food was outstanding. I’m vegan and they accommodated my requests and presented me with a delicious meal. I would highly this restaurant and definitely plan to return in the future!!!

    Excellent food and service. Good food takes time to make so order an appetizer and enjoy a glass of wine. The pasta offerings are very good. I loved the bucatini with artichokes ala cacio e pepe. Truly memorable.

    As always, Roberto’s always provides the best meal ever. I have been going there for over 25 years. Last 5 years Saturday early afternoon is my preference. Tried the fresh pasta in foil which was perfect. Going to try to recreate that dish at home.

    excellent old school Italian. lots of great specials, attentive service, good sized portions and delicious food. I had branzino which was excellent, and everyone else at my table loved their food. we will be back
