Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
Saturday 4:00pm - 11:00pm
Always delicious. The pasta fajoli soup always knocks my socks off.
Table was only allowed 2 baskets of bread. We where a table of 5.. “or the owners would be upset”.
Food took a bit to come out. Little pricey for small dishes, Otherwise great atmosphere and ambiance.
Vinny the waiter was great! Very attentive and accommodating with a great attitude.
Great service and food
After all the hype and long standing reputation, we had high expectations.
The food was expensive especially since none of our dishes came with anything.
Just a piece of chicken or a steak with nothing else, no potato, vegetable or pasta.
Pretty unappetizing on the plate besides not very fulfilling for a dinner.
The waiter called out the dish he was holding and then slammed it down on the table when we answered what we had ordered .
The food was ok but not any better than the average Italian restaurant.
A big disappointment in every respect.
It was a nice experience overall, food was good but my boyfriend and felt that both of our entrees could’ve used a little more flavor (meaning the sauces on our pasta dishes seemed watered down). I had the Cavatelli with Italian sausage & broccoli rabe, he had the Fusilli with seafood. The desserts were delicious (strawberries w/ pastry cream & biscuits & a chocolate cake)as well as our wine so that we would definitely have again. The appetizer Scamorza was not well executed it lacked flavor and presentation was sloppy but we ate it anyway. The service was excellent.
Hadnt been here in 10years.. still has great food, and service, was pleasantly surprised with the wines offered by the glass.
I have been to all of Robertos restaurant on city island in Manhattan and in Westchester. I love love his signature pasta in the foil. I go specifically for that reason but the restaurant Robertos was very noisy and small. My husband and I were seated in a tiny space and when the other patrol at the next door table got up his but was brushing into the food on my table. I thought that was disgusting. The bread that they serve at this particular restaurant seems cold and old. We asked the waiter about it and he said this is how they serve their bread. I will continue to go to the NYC one as this one you get much better friendlier service their.
Roberto’s is an amazing place, providing a great culinary experience👍😀
You can have the best italian food outside Italy. Everything is delectable from the antipasto to the pasta, rissotto and main courses.
The wine list is notable!
Take adavantage of the location to visit excellent places around such as the Bronx Zoo, Botanical Garden, local market, pasta , cheese, bakery shops.
After visiting this locale for 24 years, the place gets better!!!
Food can’t be beat! Every dish is better than the next!
First time visiting Arthur Avenue on Saturday afternoon (and havingcarried an old Zagat book from 2012). Looked better than some of the pizza joints on Arthur Avenue, so we made a reservation. We were NOT disappointed and will certainly return. Service was excellent (by several people, not just 1 server)--and they were happy to make recommendations that were "spot on"! A little pricey perhaps--but all well worth it for a quality meal. Kudos to the kitchen and staff. The bartender was equally very friendly and helpful (giving us recommendations prior to us being seated).
Family dinner after going to Botanical Gardens. Great food and service. Never disappoints. Ate in wine cellar which was a little quieter than main dining room.
Food was great, as always! Can’t go wrong with the fettuccine and black truffle pasta!
Generally very nice w authentic food and atmosphere. Too noisy!' Yes it was crowded, but that wasn't issue. Issue was couldn't hear ourselves speak or even the waitstaff reciting specials. Wish some of these restaurants would invest in soundproofing
Pricey but good food. Generous portions!! Very attentive service.
Favorite place in Little Italy
Roberto's offers the best Italian food outside Italy!! Food is amazing with excellent preparation and taste. The menu lends itself to share with a group and have a fantastic gastronomic experience!! The bar is excellent and so is the wine selection!! It is worth the drive, typically we visit the local market and bakeries before having dinner.
Incredible homemade pasta! The main dining area is at ground level and the basement (“wine cellar”) is a cozy room with about 6 tables for a quieter ambiance. Very filling, we left stuffed.
You can never go wrong with Roberto's.
We visit our son at Fordham University and eat at Roberto's as a special treat for our son.
He ordered the 50 oz Tomahawk steak and said it was incredible!!!
We also had the Fettuccini with black truffle which was outstanding-
We have eaten at Roberto's many times as our daughter is now a senior at Fordham. Having also been born and raised in NYC (Manhattan) Roberto's is truly the best Itialian restaurant in all 5 boroughs, bar none!!!
Great service, amazing food. A bit crowded and slightly overpriced. We’d recommend to others and will definitely return
We go to Roberto’s often, but not often enough. We live in Northern Westchester and this Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx restaurant is a gem. Anthony at the bar is wonderful. He is personable and friendly as are all the waitstaff. The hostesses are beautiful...
When it comes to innovative Italian Food, Roberto is the leader. His pasta dishes are incredible as well as all of his ever-changing specials. Don’t miss the Bucatini Modo Mio. Roberto certainly does it “his way”. This pasta dish never misses our table.
So if you want great dining in a casual atmosphere go to Roberto.
Had a beautiful dinner with friends from out of town. The service was friendly and accommodating and the entrees were all delicious!
Such a great experience every time. It was our 10th anniversary and the service was amazing. They surprised us with an after dinner drink with the tiramisu and it was perfect.
One of America’s best Italian restaurants. Creative entrees, supreme service and if there during the day be sure to visit the Arthur Avenue Market next door
Consistently wonderful food. Outstanding homemade pasta specials. Great service. You won’t be disappointed.
Excellent, interesting, no red sauce Italian. Attentive service. Consistently good
Excellent & authentic food, attentive service---what's not to like? Out of the way but absolutely worth it.
Roberto's has been one of our favorite restaurants for the last 5-10 years. usually my wife and I eat there by ourselves, but this past Sat. nite we brought friends...one other couple. We were surprised to find the restaurant half empty and it never seemed to fill up...we were there from 7:30-9:40
The service was particularly slow and surly...not helpful at all. The food was not especially good either.. we had our usuals...shared the shrimp and calamari appetizer, which was smaller than before and the shrimp were overcooked. My wife had her melanzane dish from the menu and I had my bucatini and neither was up to par.
And I almost forgot...the bread, which had been one of the reasons we look forward to eating at Roberto's, was very ordinary...not crusty, not warm.
Maybe there's a reason for the place being empty.
We are inclined to give it another shot after so many terrific meals, but it won't be anytime soon. And we won't bring friends.
This was my second time here and I brought 2 other couples. I bragged about this restaurant and was so excited to come back. However, I was so disappointed with the entrees they were so bland and the service was terrible. In NY we usually get the most upbeat friendly waiters and this time everyone commented how they were so disappointed with the service. Sorry but I will not be back.
great food ambiance is great a bit noisy.. the bathroom wasnt working upstairs but it was fine, romantic and tasty fresh food that was prepared with love, wait staff great
Always my favorite restaurant to go to for an excellent meal! The service is always great and the food is off the charts good!
Good food and service
Favorite place for lunch while food shopping on Arthur avenue. Excellent pastas! Terrific service.
Once again, a great night with outstanding food. The wine list is also excellent.
Birthday dinner, awesome experience. Wait staff extremely attentive and accommodating.
From the moment we walked in until we left the entire staff made sure you experience was perfect. The waiters were friendly and answered any questions and explained all of the specials. The wait staff was perfect with serving and never interrupting your meal but we’re there if you needed them. I look forward to dining at Roberto’s the next time we are on Arthur avenue
The food was absolutely amazing! My husband were a couple minutes late and the hostess was amazing! The servers were also amazing...just overall, just amazing!!!
Must admit to a bit of disappointment, the food was good but uneven. Pollo Spinachi was good but a saffron risotto special was bland, probably overcooked. Shrimp and calamari plate was fresh but also without any sauce to give it a spark. Service was outstanding, and its a fun place, so worth another look to see if we just had bad timing
Excellent food and service. Something for everyone. Very accommodating!
