Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
Saturday 4:00pm - 11:00pm
From the moment we walked in until we left the entire staff made sure you experience was perfect. The waiters were friendly and answered any questions and explained all of the specials. The wait staff was perfect with serving and never interrupting your meal but we’re there if you needed them. I look forward to dining at Roberto’s the next time we are on Arthur avenue
The food was absolutely amazing! My husband were a couple minutes late and the hostess was amazing! The servers were also amazing...just overall, just amazing!!!
Must admit to a bit of disappointment, the food was good but uneven. Pollo Spinachi was good but a saffron risotto special was bland, probably overcooked. Shrimp and calamari plate was fresh but also without any sauce to give it a spark. Service was outstanding, and its a fun place, so worth another look to see if we just had bad timing
Excellent food and service. Something for everyone. Very accommodating!
Whenever we head to Arthur Avenue, we make a point of dining at Roberto's. Would have had it perfect across the board except that our waiter was a bit snippy for no reason. The bussers and support staff were fantastic. Food was quite good. Def thumbs up!
Have been a customer for 24 years at this beacon of gastronomy!! Roberto's is extremely consistent. His homemade pasta is incredible! His appetizers well worth it! Great wines, great entrees! All worth sharing tapa style. The food at this place has been catalogued as the best italian food outside Italy. Buon appetito!!
Food was great. Service was slow and inattentive at times.
Terrific food, very hospitable service and a lively ambiance with lots of folks celebrating special occasions.
This was our second time to Roberto's. Best food in the area, but very expensive.
Awesome authentic Italian food!
Service was awesome!
I’m never disappointed. Food is high quality, fresh and well prepared. It’s old school Italian ambiance with a modern, creative twist. Lots of daily specials to complement a varied menu.
This is not the usual Arthur Ave "sauce joint". The food is prepared fresh and with the best ingredients. I can't say enough about how well the food is prepared and presented. The wait staff is phenomenal too - attentive but not intrusive. The wine list is comprehensive. If you want something diff then the usual pasta with red sauce prepared well in advance of your arrival, go to Roberto's!
As usual the pasta was delicious. We had the special black truffle pasta which was simple and exceptional.
The main course specials were disappointing. The sauteed spicy chicken with pureed basil seemed stewed and the osso bucco was tender but was in a marinara sauce which took away from the dish.
Been coming here for almost 30 years this location and the 1st. Love !
Great restaurant. Came here after the yankee game on Saturday and had an amazing meal. The hostess was very nice and the servers were amazing especially with the Russian style plating of appertizers. Would absolutely come here again— truffle pasta dish and the canoli were my favorites
Came here for a special occasion. The food was fantastic and the service was great, despite the restaurant being quite busy. Only negative I would say was the noise level, but that’s pretty inevitable with a place as popular as this.
Outstanding restaurant! The food was remarkable!
The appetizer selections we chose were recommended specials. The entrees melted in your mouth! They were incredible: risotto was delectable, a tomahawk steak cooked to perfection, specially prepared veal and a homemade fettuccini with black truffle shavings! Omg!
A culinary delight!
We will be back when we return to NY!!
Staff was attentive and professional in presentation-
The evening ended with a tour of the wine cellar!
Restaurant had a flooding issue from heavy rain that afternoon, understandable but I should’ve been alerted by the restaurant or open table. I waited one hour from my scheduled reservation to be seated. I was cordial the entire time about the situation but the restaurant did nothing to make up for the inconvenience.
Terrific - one of New York's outstanding restaurants. Always count on first class dining there. Value unmatched!
CAME IN FROM OUT OF TOWN....FAMILY WAS VERY PLEASED,,,GREAT FOOD...GREAT SERVICE...AND LOVED THE ATMOSPHERE.....
Good food and service. Open on Mondays. Easy to find and to park.
Excellent food and impeccable service. It was a true find, worth the distance.
Great food and great service. Recommend highly
Glad they take reservations now
We met our daughter and her beau for lunch at Roberto's. The waiter was unfailingly helpful, the place (upstairs) was intimate and quiet, and the food superb. We've dined in Belmont (on Arthur Ave.) many times. because the pasta is house-made and cooked to perfection, the menu more sophisticated than many other places, and the service excellent, we have decided Roberto's is our favorite Belmont restaurant.
Great food! The grilled calamari and 1/2 rabbit were outstanding!
I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. It's always been great which is why I keep going back. This time not so much. I ordered the pasta with mussels, clams and shrimp. Shellfish was old and had odor and shrimp was over cooked and hard. My friend ordered swordfish. It was drenched in a sweet blood orange sauce. The appetizers were good enough. For the price the meal was below average.
Fantastic experience! We eat out all the time in Manhattan and NJ, and this is one of the best food experiences we’ve ever had. From food delivery to quality to service, everything was a perfect 10. Highly recommend to make the trip here for this amazing restaurant. All of the pasta is homemade and delicious! A definite must!!
Started with the Salumi e Formagi and Polipo Alla Griglio for appetizers which was cooked to perfection! Penne Melanzane e Provola Afumicata was a delicious pasta with eggplant and smoked mozzarella. Pasta Integrale Pomodori was also amazing! All this while enjoying a wonderful Gavi and to finish it off, espresso, biscotti and a glass of port. Can't wait to go back!
Roberto’s is one of a kind. We have been coming to the restaurant since it’s days as a very basic corner restaurant down the block. It has only gotten better as the years progressed. The restaurant is convivial, the food creative and delicious and the service is great and not overly intrusive This is really the top Italian restaurant in NYC
The service was very good and the Osso Buco was delicious. But the sole special was not so special. But overall would recommend and would return.
At first a little disappointed as they could not locate our reservation even after I showed them the online confirmation. There was an empty table for two which I had requested but everyone seemed confused on how to handle this non life threatening situation.
Since they appeared to have difficulties we stated that we would sit at the bar even though neither of us drink. We were actually glad the mix up occurred. The bartender was one of the nicest gentlemen that we have ever met and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with gluten free options. Return reservations will only occur when this gentlemen is working and we will request to be seated at the bar.
We had some special guests from out of town, and from previous experiences, we knew that Roberto’s would be the right place. The place did not disappoint us. The food, the service were impeccable. Loni , the manager and his whole team of waiters were very professional, helpful and very nice. We’ll definitely go back there. The appetizers, Osso bucco, the fish was very very good. It was a little crowded and noisy, but that tells you that people come back all the time, even on a workday.
Birthday dinner. Did not disappoint!
Food and service is impeccable. Anthony makes the best martini's in the city. Erlon make us feel at home every time we dine at Roberto's.
We have a customer of this great dining place for 24 years! The food and service is consistently superb! The menu offers a variety of delicious options, pasta is homemade (try tin foil cooked pasta dishes)!
Worth a visit!!!
The service was excellent, including the manager who came by to see how we were doing. The pastas and appetizers were very good, a veal scallopine dish was over cooked. Overall it is over-priced, which is the only problem.
Great spot, just around the corner from Arthur Avenue. Friendly bartender and great cocktails. delicious food, friendly and knowledgeable waiter. Noisy early on, but mellowed out later. We weren't rushed at all...spent time visiting with friends over a great meal.
Should open at 4:30 during Yankee games. Could not handle 5 pm - 6:15 pm rush.
Great as usual!
Told waiter that we were celebrating a birthday, he didn’t remember. He was rude to my friend(birthday person).
Waiter’s name- Loni
