About Roberto's Restaurant
Over the past 30 years, our family has brought you the finest in hand crafted Italian food here in Ogunquit Maine. We stock only the finest imported olive oils, select tomatoes from the Tri-Valley Growers in California, and fresh native seafood. Our greens, herbs and vegetables are delivered to our chefs daily and to offer healthy choices, we do not use ANY salt or preservatives in our Italian recipes. We take pride in selecting and serving our food in Southern Maine and have continued this tradition for over 30 years. We are located in a restored 1850 farm house with wide beams and pumpkin pine hard wood floors, several small dining rooms and two larger rooms. Enjoy our small espresso bar, where full liquor is available and local beers are on tap. Small plates of our gourmet dishes are also available. Have fun watching a big game on our flat screen TV while enjoying the warmth of our working fireplace.

Roberto's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
If a waiter spilled a glass of wine right into your lap and all over the table and floor wouldn’t you expect an apology? Not at Roberto’s! While the waiter & his coworker cleaned up the mess they didn’t say one word. The waiter then said ‘I have no idea how that happened.’ There was no apology or offer to bring another glass of wine or deduct it from the bill. He acted like it didn’t happen.
I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was just average and the service was the worst I’ve ever had.
Overall very good experience. Food and service were excellent. The acoustics were a bit loud (could use carpeting or curtains perhaps). The parking lot was difficult to get out of as the valet service couldn't handle all the vehicles quickly enough...it's a nice service to offer, but it seemed to clog up the entrance area. (I would just as soon park my own car). Would come back again!
We have been going to Robertos for many years. First time not thrilled with the food. All three dinners lacked flavor.
We were seated next to a large party with a very loud laugher. We were not the only diners that were aware of this.
Perhaps the chef was having a off night.
Beautiful presentations, the finest fresh ingredients and flawless cooking in a comfortable setting. A really terrific place to meet with friends for dinner. The regular menu is extensive and the list of daily specials almost as long. The four of us ordered different apps and dinners all of them were outstanding. I will return
We make a trip to Ogunquit twice a year and this is one of our favorite restaurants. This visit was as good as usual. I'd have to say our server was probably a little better than others. I believe her name was Marina and she could not have been nicer. Attentive without being pushy, pleasant without being robotic or insincere. The ambience is warm and cozy.
My mom & I dined here over the weekend. We had a reservation. The poor valet guy was so overwhelmed because parking there is a nightmare. The least the restaurant could do was hire 2 valet attendants. When you arrive in the restaurant it's cozy-- busy atmosphere. The menu is large which was intriguing. I ordered the veal parm. The veal was so overcooked that the it was tough to eat & their sauce reminded me of Pragu or Ragu. It was very tart & did not taste like authentic Italian whatsoever. My mom liked her veal Marsala. The sauce was delicious. Overall it was kind of a disappointment. I was hoping for delicious Italian & this was only subpar
Food was good. Open table app worked great, got right in on a busy night. One Major downfall - after our appitizers arrived, it took over an hour before our main course was served ( which we ordered at the same time as the appetizers) Just standard pasta dishes were ordered. Also, parking was a nightmare.
Food is ok but it is painfully slow. Really loud there too. After an almost 75 minute wait for food, one meal was overcooked and another was missing the sides. Those sides came after we were done with the meal. Waiter was very good to recognize our frustration and offered complimentary dessert, which was appreciated.
My previous visit was very similar to this one unfortunately.
Too bad...as I think the food is actually pretty good.... but we won't be back.
