Extremely long wait 20minutes or more, until Alex, our waiter approached us.
When he did, he was not very pleasant..... to a party of 8!!!!
He needs some additional people training.
Very nice place. The parking attendant was a nice touch. Service was good and the food was very good. It was a good experience I will go there again to dine.
Very nice quality portions slightly small for price
We had Anna and she was excellent.
The food was delightful and flavorful - I suggest the braised short ribs and risotto!
I love Italian food so was anxious to go. When we were first seated the table had to be moved to even sit, you are touching the next person in fron and back. My husband had the veal Parmigian and thought for sure it had to have come in frozen and breaded. When asked for butter it was in packets. His beet salad was very good and a nice presentation. My wedge for nine dollars was a wedge of iceberg with a couple things on top , nothing like I have gotten at other restaurants, so was disappointed.
Our waitress was lovely and was very attentive.
Lovely salad and dessert. Mediocre main course.
Chicken Marsala was tough and swimming in wine sauce. Bread was stale and small.
Server didn't refill ice teas. We have been to this restaurant many times and this was by far the worst. The tables for two are cramped and the chairs uncomfortable with no padding.
Just a disaster for the money. Better off either eating chicken marsala from Weight Watchers.
Natasha was a great waitress. She made the evening very pleasant
Something was very wrong. It was not nearly as good as before. Drinks were horrible. Raw oysters were dry and had to be sent back. My friends did not finish their meals! The waitress was perfect but the food was ugh. The best was my spaghetti and meatballs.
Felt rushed to order and it became very very loud. It is peak season so it probably can't be helped............
We have an eaten at Roberto‘s in about 15 years, the food and experience was better than ever. Our son who is 10 said to give this place five stars and we absolutely agree. I had the short ribs over risotto and it was amazing.
July 4th dinner in a vacation town! Took us early which was a bonus but we waited for 15 minutes for a waitress to get our drink orders. Our meals took over an hour to arrive but the food was amazing!!!! Restaurant was super busy and waitress was very apologetic. This is our 3rd Fourth of July at this restaurant.
Excellent food and service.
Will be back ASAP.
Great food, real slow service. Same every 4th of July when we go.
The food was good.
The wait staff was fantastic!!
The ambiance was good.
The noise level was good for a restaurant that had so many people in it.
Roberto's has become a staple for us whenever we are in Ogunquit. The food is excellent, especially the Osso Bucco - the best we've ever had. The wait staff is terrific-shout out to Alex. In all, it is always a a great dinner experience.
The service and meal were excellent! The waiter made a few recommendations and it was a big hit.
Roberto's is a very nice local Italian Restaurant with a varied menue to suit just about anyone. It is a nice middle ground restaurant with good quality food and a very nice staff. Easy to go to and satisfying.
The food was great. Chicken Marsala and zucchini Parmesan...delicious!
We ate here for two nights in a row. Both times the food and service were great. Lobster ravioli and scallops were excellent. The Italian lemon cake was a nice light delicious end to the meal. I will dine here next time we visit.
Our dinner was excellent. The restaurant was clean and lively. The staff made event better. Our server, Michael, was a gem. He was great with the adults and children in our party. The food was delicious as well. This was our 3rd visit to Roberto’s, and we will be back again.
Food is always good at Roberto’s. I had seafood stuffed mushrooms and husband had swordfish.
Absolutely horrible service. We got here and sat right away. Someone came and gave us water, but we waited 20 minutes and a waitress never came to our table for even a drink order so we left and went elsewhere. They did go right to a table that sat after us. I can't rate the food as we never ate. The service was horrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
Bar folks were slow and we asked for dirty ice... never got it.
The lobster bisque was delicious the osso bucco was awesome and my girlfriend had pasta and lobster which was delicious delicious
Not knowing how late the 6/16 2:30 matinee showing of Oklahoma would end, I made a reservation way too early (5 pm). After the performance ended and we got in our car to "wait in the line of cars" to head to Roberto's, I called the restaurant and the young lady who answered said Not to worry. That was most appreciated considering we got there easily a 1/2 hour or more late. We were celebrating a special occasion and the food was delicious and the service excellent. When next we go to the Playhouse, we will return to Roberto's (we live in Londonderry NH). Thank you.
We've been going to Roberto's for a few years now and have only been disappointed once (due to a mixup with one of our meals). I'm Italian and the hot sauce and sausage are very authentic! Looking forward to a return visit in September.
Food and setting tops, but service somewhat hit and miss enough to detract from the experience. Good enough for a 2d try in future.
Roberto’s is my favorite place to eat in OGT. Great food, service and atmosphere. I have been coming to Roberto’s for roughly 20 years and never disappointed. Last trip was for my birthday. Love the pan seared haddock and the spamoni!
We had a large group, including 2 six year olds. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The Caesar salads were delicious, enjoyed seafood stuffed mushrooms appetizer, minestrone soup excellent and served hot. Big portions of clams and pasta, chicken parmesian, shrimp scampi. Kid friendly with paper table clothes, and children's menu. Our service was wonderful, wait staff was very attentive. Be prepared for food to take a while after ordering. We all look forward to coming back next time we are in Ogunquit, Maine.
Good food, nice atmosphere. Service a little slow, but there was only one server for the ten or twelve tables in our section and they filled up rapidly.
Food was nice, but service has been done without any smile. Other items were satisfying.
The food was delicious. Took us In right on time with our reservation. Love having the valet parking
We have been going to Roberto's since it opened. We have always enjoyed a wonderful meal and excellent service. We will continue to dine there whenever we visit Ogunquit.
We had an overall great experience. The staff was exceptional and the food was superb. I had the crab cakes which were very good and my partner had the chicken rolatini which he still can' t stop talking about. Can' wait for our next visit. Anita and jim
Our family went to Ogunquit on a day trip and ended by having dinner at Roberto's before heading back to Rhode Island...kind of a tradition for Memorial Day weekend/beginning of June weekend. As always the food and service were superb!!!! The Waite staff was very accommodating, especially since our 2.5 year old granddaughter was with us.
Roberto's offered complimentary valet parking. We were seated promptly upon arrival at our time of reservation. My wife and I both enjoyed lobster bisque. I had a seafood scampi and my wife had broiled scallops. The scallops were delicious. We were happy that the Roberto's accepted reservations as late as 9:30pm because our journey that evening did not allow for an earlier arrival. The atmosphere was relaxed and though a bit loud at times, was fine. The other "happy diners" lightened the lateness of the evening. This was our third visit to Roberto's and we recommend it.
Just ok. Not in a hurry to book again though. Service was good but the food wasn’t the best. Expected more.
Everything excellent every time we dine at Roberto’s. Can’t wait until next time!
Robertos was a perfect spot to dine before attending the Ogunquit Playhouse right around the corner. Food, Service and atmosphere was perfect.
