We had the Best Waiter. His name was Mike and he was superb!!!!
We go to Ogunquit every year around Fall, never miss a dinner at Roberto’s! Absolutely delicious! Make reservation or you won’t get in.
Excellent service and food was outstanding. A little bit of a tight squeeze in between tables .
Great food and service. Thanks for a lovely evening
My husband and I just wanted a great pizza with a more elegant feel, which is exactly what we had at Roberto’s. Service was fabulous also!!
Outstanding Osso Buco and Seafood fra diavolo! Salads to dessert, a very memorable meal.
We have dinner at Roberto’s every trip to Ogunquit. Both the service and food is terrific. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Great food. Service was outstanding. Very friendly staff. Outstanding Italian food. Would highly recommend.
Food is always great and staff is attentive but not obtrusive! My “go to place”...
Excellent food and excellent service from Michael!
It was a great evening.
This was our second visit to Roberto's and the food does not disappoint! Everything was delicious and our server was wonderful. We arrived slightly early so wanted to take our time through dinner - we were not rushed at all! Look forward to going back!
We started off with a cocktail in the bar. Fantastic bartenders made me a fantastic pineapple infused vodka & basil martini. My bf has a Bloody Mary & said it was excellent. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Bread & olive dip was amazing. I think our waiter was new but he did a good job. I had the veal saltimbocca & bf had the seafood diavlo, both delicious. We will definitely be back again.
Arugula salad, shrimp scampi, penne bolognese, and the mud pie were good!
Awesome service the staff is always so friendly. The food is amazing, every time we go to Ogunquit this is a must stop for us. Love the place
The best Italian food in town! Attentive and friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and amazing food—you won’t go away hungry. The antipasti and desserts are wonderful! Great cocktails! A convenient place to dine before taking in a show at Ogunquit Playhouse!
A favorite spot in Southern Maine - excellent food!
If you are on a decaf regimen, don’t chance the coffee here. I watched the owner bring a fresh pot of regular coffee to refill the carafe. There was about a cup left in the pot. She took the cover off and poured it into the decaf carafe. Makes you wonder what other ‘cost saving’ strategies are employed.
Always perfection!! Food and atmosphere could not be any better! A true gem in ogunquit
I live in town and have always enjoyed going to Roberto's. My only complaint, and it's my problem, is the noise level in the restaurant when it is really busy is too loud. But the food makes up for that!
Overall very good to excellent meal. Setting very nice and great for family and/or friends. Open table restaurant reservations was so easy. Will be back soon for dinner. We get to the Ogunquit playhouse early to park then walk to Roberto’s for a nice meal & cappuccino. See you soon
Great food and atmosphere. The hostess was very helpful and accommodating my 2 year old. Would definitely come back.
We all enjoyed our meals. My son (11 years old) got chicken parm. He ate it all which he never does. I got the chicken Marsala, it was delicious. We will definitely be back when we go to Oguinquit again.
Appetizer, roasted beet salad, was laughable. 4 thin slices of beets over a pile of greens. The beets tasted like they just came out of a can. Not a hint of "roasted" flavor. Entrées were superb. Osso Buco and pasta cooked well. Desert, crème brule, again disappointed. Custard was good but caramelized sugar topping was soggy. Not at all crispy. Watermelon martini was excellent. Good wine selection. We will eat here again, but will only be ordering drinks and entrées.
We had a wonderful experience. We asked to sit in the lounge and were not disappointed. As the evening went on it did get noisier and busier as ut service ve did not suffer. Staff was exceptional kind, and pleasant, very service oriented. Will certainly return .
Went Tuesday for my wife's 60th. First time eating here. Service was great from hostess to all servers. Everything tasted good.
All 6 people in our party enjoyed their food. Our server and the girl pouring the water were very attentive!
Well, I rarely write these types of reviews as I normally will let the manager know if I have any issues. In this case, I could not find nor could staff find the manager on this night. We had reservations and were sat in the smaller room with 2 large tables (a party of 8 and another party of 11 or 12). It was VERY loud. We had the only 2 person table in the room. It took the single server for the whole room 25 minutes to even acknowledge us (I am originally from NY and would never, ever sit that long, but, my wife was trying to keep me calm and frankly, we talked through it). When the server finally came to the table, she did not even say hello (she was embarrassed), asked if we were ready to order. I said, what? No drink or hello? Anyway, she took our order then left. Another 12 minutes went by and then, well, then I had enough and went to the hostess to be re-seated. We got a table immediately and after 10 more minutes our drinks found us. After that, mostly okay although my 40 minute adventure set the tone. I have been to Roberto's many times and would most likely return; I will however, be looking to see if things have improved.
I was very disappointed with my meal. Very disappointed with the service. The wait for food was too long; and the food was awful.
had a reservation for 8:15 and were seated on time. We did not order appetizers and just ordered dinner at 8:25. The dinner arrived at our table at 9:15. It was very good though but seemed like a very long time for 2 dinners.
Terrific place. We discovered it years ago and now drive to Ogunquut for the day specifically to go to Roberto’s. It’s that good.
Robertos didn’t let us down. We had planned an anniversary celebration but friends were in town so they joined us and Robertos made it happen. The service and food were superb. It was a nice evening all around.
We had a very nice dinner at Roberto's. It was quite full so a bit noisy but food and service were excellent. We will be back.
Service was great, food was delicious!
Anna was fantastic! She made out visit exceptional. Our dinner before the theatre! Perfect!
I can not say enough about Robertos the food , the service, its consistent, the bar service with Johnie,
the owner Kathy, we are always pleased with our meals. W e drive up from Boston, just for the day to
dine at Robertos. We love it
Perfect evening. Lovely table by the window. The server, Anna, was incredible. The wine list had just enough offerings and many of them affordable. We started with the caprese salad and it was incredible. The entrees of swordfish and seafood scampi were excellent. Ended the evening with gelato and espresso and cappuccino. Also excellent.
There were four of us at our table. One entrée was returned to the kitchen because it smelled odd and tasted odd as well. My eggplant parmigiana required a knife to cut through it, and it was without question the worst dish of its kind that I've had in my more than 50 years of dining in any restaurant. My salad tasted as though it had been sitting out on a counter for much of a day. The bread was about as special as the lowest cost offering at a corner grocery store. All in all, this was a very disappointing visit for us. We would neither return , nor recommend the establishment to any of our friends...…………..an enemy, maybe.
The food and service is always top notch. I love coming here!
Seems like they usually do better but our food was mediocre at best. Well my wifes dish the portabella stuffed mushrooms were turning bad and the flavor was pungent. Had they been fresh it would’ve been very good. Mine was a stuffed then fried ckicken over pasta that was very bland and dry. Even if it was properly prepared , the ingredients had no flavor. The service/kitchen was slow. Not every meal can be perfect but how an establishment handles the bad ones is what makes the difference. When the server cleared out half eaten plates he asked how are meals were. I replied” honestly , not very good” I told him what was wrong but no action was taken on the part of the restaurant. The bill was 100.00 bucks. On a positive note the rolls and my wife’s scampi appetizer were pretty good.
The food and service was very good. Waiter was engaging. Dining room was very pleasant and comfortable.
