Great happy hour with beer pitchers and real menu food items.
Tsucune (chicken meatball skewers) are the best!
Would prefer other than the ‘techno music’
Super value!
It was a great experience in one of LA’s hidden in plain sight gems.
Absolutely a great experience! Came at 9 pm on Saturday and the place was packed. The service was the best and the food was amazing. Exceptional all the way around.
Good food, service and atmosphere - ramen was too salty
Great happy hour and delicious sushi
Their new menu is a bit different from their older one, but they were still able to make some of the ingredients from the older menu. Yellowtail tradito isn’t on your the menu but I asked, and they made it. The chicken thigh oyster is the bomb. The Robata and ramen actually is all great and you can find some great specialty rolls.
My husband and I went to Robata-JINYA a few weeks ago and we made reservations. Upon arrival, we were seated outside without being asked if we would prefer a table inside and it looked like there were plenty available. It was a cold evening and although they had heaters, we were still cold with our jackets on. The service was very slow and our food came out at SIGNIFICANTLY different times. We ordered the Yakitori which came out first, followed quickly by my sushi, and then around 25 minutes after we had finished eating my husbands ramen came out. We saw other tables who had ordered after us get bowls of ramen before we did. I wanted to order the sake sampler but after our original order was taken, we did not see our waitress again until we were finished eating (other people dropped off our food). Overall, the restaurant is a nice place and our food was mostly good (my sushi and the ramen were delicious). I’ll blame it on a bad experience, but I don’t think I’ll come back again.
They were out of their best sellers on Valentine’s Day by 9pm. Unfortunate
The food is amazing as always. The vibe is really warm and always a good time there !
Delicious food, reasonable prices, loud but cool ambiance. Service wasn't great (host and servers didn't exude much friendliness), but overall a great meal.
music too loud but good is fantastic
I great food!!!
Always the best dishes and great service!
Consistently one of the best restaurants in LA and the HH is such a great deal!
Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Everything you order will be delicious!
So delicious. Will be coming back soon!
music too loud, maybe it's the bass. food was excellent, service was meh. if we don't order alcoholic drink feel like we get treated differently
We arrived literally 6 minimum late due to the lack of Valet parking. The host claimed they had given our table away, even though they had several open seats. I had to talk to manager who came to our rescue and gave us a table.
Superb lobster roll special. Best creamy shrimp tempura in LA. Bread pudding surprisingly good!
It’s one of our favorite regular spots if we’re craving both for Ramen & Sushi. It’s great every time.
I loved their service, the food was great and fresh. We got a pudding for dessert and it was so good.As i put a note on my reservation they surprised my friend with a candle.
The food was amazing. I would recommend getting the cold sake shots, also the salmon belly sashimi, maybe steak skewer (it came from the kitchen on fire, literally 🔥). The sushi rolls were amazing as well. Definitely will be coming back!
The food is fantastic...sushi and ramen too. Great experience.
Food was exceptional. Service was amazing but please turn the music down!!
