Great spot in Woodlands/Houston area if you're looking for a bold dining experience featuring spectacular golf and lake views, for a more relaxing setting. One of the best steaks I've had close to Peli Peli. Service is prompt and crew is very attentive and welcoming. Top notch bar and lounge with masterful design and style! This is where you want to take your colleagues or business leads. I will be BACK!
The food was surprisingly good however meat wasn’t cooked completely to my liking and I was given the wrong soup. However that wasn’t an issue as I fell in love with the soup they gave me instead. Good place friendly waiter perfect for valentines!
Everthing excelent!!!!! I recommend it simply wonderful!!!!!
Food was amazing! Jeff was an awesome waiter. Can’t wait to go back.
One of my favorite valentines day celebrations of all time. Everything was perfect.
We were first time diners at Robard's Steakhouse. Ordinarily, we tend to prefer seafood but on this trip to a notable steakhouse, we had the beef (Oscar for her, and Rossini for me). The food is well-thought out and the presentations are beautiful. The beet salad was a feast for the eyes and palate. The medallions Oscar came with wonderfully proportioned crab meat and spot-on seasoning. The medallions Rossini was not as well put together (overcooked beef didn't help) and the seasoning overly salty without the expected balance from the foie gras. Overall, a thoughtful meal and a fun visit to a restaurant we'll go to again.
Ordered a Macauley Vineyard Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard from the menu. What arrived was a Macauley Napa Valley. That’s a 100 point Wjne vs an 88 point wine. Lol that’s a 400 wine vs a 150 wine. Bait and switch.
Ordered three drinks at the bar.. could not make any of the three. Due to lack of ingredients.
Food was good.
Manager stated that they serve Colorado lamb. On menu it says Australian. Again bait and switch.
Given what we know now. No integrity. Bait and switch.
The service was stellar.
If it weren’t for the constant bait and switch might be worth the 450 we spent.
Jeff provided us with exceptional service.
Great service, interesting ambiance, impeccable food!
Colton was a terrific and knowledgable server. The food was amazing, and the ambience was perfect.
I will definitely be back!
Fabulous as always. One of the best in the Woodlands
Robard’s is outstanding. The best restaurant in the woodlands. Food, service ( Ashly is amazing) was top notch.
Great ambiance, very good wait staff, food good, nice evening
Great food and atmosphere! You’ll really enjoy it!
We had amazing food, in a quiet, cozy atmosphere, with the most amazing waiter, Alex.
Awesome experience. Service was impeccable. Food was amazing. Great wine and whiskey selection. I've been a few times and have never had a bad experience.
Some recent seating changes should be reconsidered. There are fewer square tables and more rectangle ones, that seat up to 6. This might be fine for parties of 4 or more, but was awkward for 2. Also, there are no chairs with these bigger tables, but a mini “loveseat” on each side which is a challenge to pull out to sit and then scoot yourself back in. Also, it sits lower to the ground which puts you at a weird angle when trying to cut your steak. Ergonomics aside, the food was great as usual and our server (Jeff) was a true gem.
Our server did not provide our kids desserts that came with their meal. We end up purchasing desserts which we did not know until afterwards. We also purchased our kids drinks which actually were supposed to come with their meal.
Kind of pricey for a small meal. Many other places that are better I’m sure.
Doubt I will be back.
Had a great evening at Robards. The food is always excellent as is the service.
Amazing food and service, will definitely be back!
Been eating at Robards since it opened...its better each time
This was our 5th time to visit Robard' in the last year. All but one of the other visits was for the Sunday brunch with the other one being for the Christmas Day brunch (which was amazing). We were really pleased on our other visits and have provided very positive reviews in the past. However, this time was not so good. One of the reasons we liked to attend the brunch is for the raw bar and the ceviche station, but this time we found ourselves practically begging for the raw bar to be restocked with the oysters and shrimp. There was a lady behind the bar that would shuck two or three oysters at a time, but she definitely wasn't keeping up with the demand of all of the diners in the restaurant. In addition, I had to put in a request for the ceviche bowl to be refilled as well as the smoked salmon. The raw bar menu shows that there should have also been clams, but there were none to be had. We also enjoyed the mini sliders in the past, but those were also not available for at least 30 minutes after we arrived. Our service was OK, but not like we had experienced in the past. The brunch used to include mimosas and bloody mary's and cost $50. That has now changed to a $39 brunch and a $20 additional charge for the mimosas and bloody mary's. While I would definitely recommend the Christmas Day brunch for $95, I don't think we will be returning for the Sunday brunch.
We took some out of town visitors to the Sunday brunch and had a fabulous time. Our server Jeff provided us with outstanding service and made the experience such fun .. the food was excellent too.
Overall excellent experience. Recommend our server Jeff.
There are so many upscale steakhouses in the Woodlands-we were looking for something different, with a quieter atmosphere. Perfect. Tables are nicely spaced and our waitress was so knowledgeable about the menu and a delight to talk to. We will definitely come back for a special occasion.Needless to say the food was outstanding as well.
A great menu even beyond their great list of steaks. Had the 45 day dry aged ribeye and it was absolutely perfect. Wife had the filet, said it was perfect also. Great soups and salads!
I believe it is necessary to acknowledge a plan to use only a “pre-fixed” menu on a given date at the time at which a reservation is made. The portions sizes on the pre-fixed menu were very underwhelming for a “steakhouse.”
Had the perfect Christmas dinner with my Family and could not have asked for better server who ledft us wanting for nothing !
This Christmas Eve was our second visit. We really enjoyed our dinner last year and was just as delicious this year too!
Service was good ambience was nice but the food quality was poor. Out of the four of us dining , only 1 person enjoyed their entree.. its very expensive and we were hoping for an exceptional Christmas eve. We were very disappointed.
We had a very enjoyable dinner before going to church service, Christmas Eve. We were asked if we had some place to be later. Excellent food and service. Ashley was a great!
Great service, great food, it's up to par with other high end steakhouses in the woodlands. First time here, will be back!
Great food and server. Jeff was wonderful and made dinner extremely nice.
Exceptional steak. Recommend the bone in filet. The pumpkin soup was superb. If you like whiskey then you’ll likely enjoy the whiskey cake but steer away if you don’t like whiskey. Chocolate cake should be removed from the menu honestly. Service overall very good but noted to be slow. Didn’t expect a 2 hour visit for a table of two
We’ve been here before & the food is always consistently good. The waiter was good but not great. He would sort of disappear periodically. And he was so soft spoken that we could barely hear him. The restaurant wasn’t terribly busy so I’m not sure where he was going. And we’d have to pour our own wine sometimes. In nicest restaurants you shouldn’t have to. But, as I said the food was great (shrimp cocktails, salad, bone-in filet, pork chop, red snapper, filet medallions, cauliflower, corn & risotto for 4 people) & I’m sure we’ll be back.
We went to Robard’s for the first time last weekend with two other couples to celebrate the holidays. Food came out quickly and was Ok, but not really worth what we paid. Serving sizes are small. Desserts were very good. Large wine selection. Service was friendly but waitress was very busy and didn’t have time to come around frequently enough for drink refills and reorders. We’ve had much better service and food at other similarly priced steak houses in The Woodlands. One nice option, however, is that Robard’s offers free shuttle service to and from hotels within 5 miles. We took advantage of that and service was on time and friendly. Although we heard good things about this place, I was a little disappointed with the food and table service and will probably not return.
We had grinds take us out for a Christmas dinner and we ordered the bone in ribeye I believe it was the 18 0z. we shared the steak and it was very grizzly and fatty, I can’t believe we were served this steak. There was barely any meat on this big price of steak. Both couples also ordered a warm brownie desert. It was served with a hard and cool brownie. I did want want to complain because we were guest of our fiends. Loved the atmosphere, not so much the food.
