Had a 1pm brunch reservation. Food looked like it had been sitting out all morning. Did not seem like it was refreshed throughout the brunch hours. Food was room temp. Paid $95 per person and it was definitely not worth the $$$$. Don’t think I’ll be back
We were very impressed with our server, Alex. She was welcoming, warm, and very attentive throughout the evening. We also appreciated her depth of knowledge on the menu and wines, along with her suggestions, which helped us to make selections we all enjoyed.
Felt welcome and recognized. Food was prepped exactly as ordered. Great location. Was a good night.
Ordered the Japanese a5 waygu and it was a bit over cooked. The server offered to refire a new one but we didn’t have time due to a movie right after dinner. It still tasted fantastic so we ate it. We were not expecting much in terms of compensation but the chef took of the a5 from the bill. Phenomenal customer service and we will definitely be back as the food is delicious!
Beautiful venue. We arrived about 30 minutes early and without hesitation they seated us immediately The service and the food unmatched excellence
Food and service were excellent. However, the seating was less than desirable. Whoever designed the low back bench seats should be made to sit on them for an hour and a half!
Nice special occasion dinner spot. The wait staff seemed fairly knowledgeable about most things we asked about. Food was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The Persian martini was refreshing and unique. I ordered the redfish and beet salad and my companion ordered the pork chop with a couple of sides. All were plated beautifully and tasted delicious. The atmosphere was nice with tables a respectable distance apart and we had a lovely view of the golf course. The music and decor in Robard’s enhanced the overall Howard Hughes design and architecture of the restaurant. Plan to spend at least one hundred dollars a person if you’re making a visit here. Pricey but great for a special occasion.
Clebrating our 8th Anniversary and Robards treated us very well. Will be coming back for sure. There are a few items on the menu that separate Robards from every other steakhouse. My wife had the scallops, which were fantastic and i had a Wagyu Medallion Fillet that was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sweet potato brulee is a MUST HAVE as well as the peanut butter brulee! Peanut butter brulle is definitely a top3 best dessert of all time for. Great service, decent ambiance, and pricing to be expected for this type of meal. Give it a go, you wont be disapointed.
For the money this was an underwhelming experience. At $100 per person for an Easter
Brunch you would expect an over the top experience- instead they went through the motions and did not seem interested in much more. The food was very
Good but they had small
Plates that had to be ordered from the kitchen- we were never asked to place an order and had to tackle a waitperson to get one placed. Mimosas were included but we were only asked once for a drink order- never if we wanted another or wanted anything else. They had a very good jazz twosome from New Orleans that were terrific- but had them in the serving area where they could not be heard by the majority of the diners as they ate. Managers were all over the place but just watching- not coaching or helping. It was our second underwhelming experience there for a special event that was not very good. They do better at dinner although it’s till very expensive.
Amazing service and wonderful food. The wait staff attended to our every need, remining out of sight but watchful, never a dry drink. The menu was explained in detail when questions were asked and the waitress had a wealth of information without being too info overload. this was our second visit and we will be coming back again. Can't wait to bring our family and friends!
Nice place to celebrate anniversary. Nice ambiance, beautiful view, great music, delish food, and excellent service.
Great happy hour!
The managers at Robard's are exceptional, both Joe and Kit. Joe is attentive and provides outstanding customer service. He is personable and genuine. Robard's has really stepped up their standards with Joe. The food is 2nd to none, hats off to the Chef! Great place to dine, beautiful views is a plus!
My husband and I chose the perfect place to celebrate our 37th Wedding Anniversary. This was our second visit to Robard's and a return visit is in our future.
Best prime rib I’ve ever add. The buffalo cheese appetizer was excellent as well. Great service and ambience!
Wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very quiet and great place for a couples dinner. Will be going back for sure.
After being here before and having a wonderful experience, I cant say it was the same this time. Some of the menu items have changed. The dry aged steaks are ok, but not worthy of a price range above $50. A unique touch that this restaurant had was you got to choose your steak cutting knife, that we were told the restaurant decided to do away with. Piece of advise, as simple as this was it made you stand out from the rest. Its about the experience to the guest. Specially if you are going to charge what you charge.
Waitress started off great and it appeared that as more guests arrived she forgot about us. had to remind her to bring drinks. Not the kind of service that I would expect when you pay $500 for 4 people. In my opinion there are better places to eat for that price range. Will probably not return.
We had a great dinning experience at Robard's. Jeff our server made it an awesome experience. He made great recommendations on the food and wine. Jeff made us feel at home from the minute we sat down. The steaks were excellent. My wife had the Tuna and said it was great.
Excellent food and service. Spending a lot on a dinner to be disappointed in any way is a bad feeling, but Robard's 100% did not disappoint. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed a quiet, candlelit dinner for our anniversary. The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. From cocktails to dessert we enjoyed our experience.
Food and service was excellent. Some of the sides were not to my liking but others enjoyed them.
My wife said the filet mignon was among the best she has ever had.
I would recommend it to a wealthy friend 😊 The food was good but it was pricey and the service wasn’t what you would expect from that type of establishment. We kept having to ask for tea/water refills. We had to ask for bread more than once.
I can not speak more highly of our experience. It was our first time and it blew our expectations out of the water. Jeff was our server. He was remarkably knowledgeable and so helpful from start to finish. We didn’t have one dish that we didn’t enjoy. I wouldn’t absolutely recommend this place👍👍👍
The food and service were great. The only negative I will add is - we were in a bit of a hurry and our server tried to push the appetizer tower more than once after we said no - not a big deal but also not very professional.
We were celebrating our Anniversary and were stuck at the worst possible table, in the front, high traffic area. We ordered foie gras appetizer which looked like it came right out of a pate package at H-E-B, not great presentation. I ordered red fish for dinner, which was dry and the bernaise
sauce was very mayonnaise-tasting. My husband ordered bone-in filet which was ok. There was quite a delay between appetizers and main course. We had been to Robard’s before and had a fantastic experience with delicious food, ambiance and service. Not sure what happened this time, but it’s too expensive for sub-par food and service at any time. Robard’s will not be our automatic go-to for fine dining☹️
Great spot in Woodlands/Houston area if you're looking for a bold dining experience featuring spectacular golf and lake views, for a more relaxing setting. One of the best steaks I've had close to Peli Peli. Service is prompt and crew is very attentive and welcoming. Top notch bar and lounge with masterful design and style! This is where you want to take your colleagues or business leads. I will be BACK!
The food was surprisingly good however meat wasn’t cooked completely to my liking and I was given the wrong soup. However that wasn’t an issue as I fell in love with the soup they gave me instead. Good place friendly waiter perfect for valentines!
Everthing excelent!!!!! I recommend it simply wonderful!!!!!
Food was amazing! Jeff was an awesome waiter. Can’t wait to go back.
One of my favorite valentines day celebrations of all time. Everything was perfect.
We were first time diners at Robard's Steakhouse. Ordinarily, we tend to prefer seafood but on this trip to a notable steakhouse, we had the beef (Oscar for her, and Rossini for me). The food is well-thought out and the presentations are beautiful. The beet salad was a feast for the eyes and palate. The medallions Oscar came with wonderfully proportioned crab meat and spot-on seasoning. The medallions Rossini was not as well put together (overcooked beef didn't help) and the seasoning overly salty without the expected balance from the foie gras. Overall, a thoughtful meal and a fun visit to a restaurant we'll go to again.
Ordered a Macauley Vineyard Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard from the menu. What arrived was a Macauley Napa Valley. That’s a 100 point Wjne vs an 88 point wine. Lol that’s a 400 wine vs a 150 wine. Bait and switch.
Ordered three drinks at the bar.. could not make any of the three. Due to lack of ingredients.
Food was good.
Manager stated that they serve Colorado lamb. On menu it says Australian. Again bait and switch.
Given what we know now. No integrity. Bait and switch.
The service was stellar.
If it weren’t for the constant bait and switch might be worth the 450 we spent.
Jeff provided us with exceptional service.
Great service, interesting ambiance, impeccable food!
Colton was a terrific and knowledgable server. The food was amazing, and the ambience was perfect.
I will definitely be back!
Fabulous as always. One of the best in the Woodlands
Robard’s is outstanding. The best restaurant in the woodlands. Food, service ( Ashly is amazing) was top notch.
Great ambiance, very good wait staff, food good, nice evening
