Great atmosphere and food! Our steak was amazing !!
Service was great! Unfortunately, the food quality didn't match the price point. I decided to splurge on a dry aged steak. The texture was great and it was cooked to my desired temperature. The flavor, however, was bland. It was very disappointing. The umami potatoes and lobster spaghetti were solid. I would not recommend splurging on a steak here, though - expensive as hell and simply not done well. May have just been mine, but hard to say...

The staff at Roast was very accommodating as we needed additional setting for a business meeting at the last minute. Ken who attended to our table is a top notch waiter and we enjoyed his recommendations and candor. He made the evening and dining experience very enjoyable. Food was delicious. Thank you!!

First time at Roast. Everything was excellent. Best scallops Ive ever had. Husband's steak was amazing as well. Service was greatm very attentive.
When we finally received our food EVERYTHING was cold! We sent it back I noticed alot of tables with food was sending it back They need to correct this!

Service was great but the food was ok. Cuisine wasn’t my style but was overall good. The steak taste had a more Mediterranean style.

Was expecting much more for the restaurant. The hanger steak was amazing! The ambience was really nice as well. But, the rest of the food was cool. Our poke was warm and fishy. And, as for the service, it was just ok. We told them we were celebrating a birthday and it was nothing

Roast is an awesome restaurant in Detroit. We always go here for special events. It has a great modern/steakhouse décor and vibe, not a stuffy dress-up feeling, more elegant and casual. The food is always top notch and the wait staff is on point. If you're not going here, you're missing out.
Was an amazing dinner the dring where so good .. The steak was the best i have ever has . We will be back .

Excellent food, nice ambience. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time because the food takes a while, but they’re making everything fresh. The stuffed peppers were good, not a green pepper, but a spicier pepper. Unique and tasty. Servers were very attentive. Food is excellent. It’s pricey, but that is what is expected at a steak house like this. We got 3 sides for 5 of us to share which was plenty. We even brought home leftover sides. The cocktails were excellent, well made and great flavor.
This meal was incredible!! Eric was an incredible server and explained the menu very well. Everything tasted fantastic. We had the lamb meatballs, lobster spaghetti, chickpea salad, hanger steak, and the cherry bomb dessert. I will be back as soon as I can.
Steak, mussels, sides and meatballs all excellent! Prepared perfectly. Ambiance was a bit of a miss. Lighting and spacing of tables was off. Host stand was very pleasant and accommodating. Service left some thing to be desired. We barley saw our server. Never knew where he was? Service assistants were great, helpful and who we asked if we needed anything. Our anniversary was acknowledged, and dessert was offered. This is a restaurant we enjoy and will return, but some misses last night.
Filet was cooked to the perfect temperature. Excellently seasoned. Brussel sprouts are highly recommended! We got the French fries too but they weren’t anything special but the pumpkin cheesecake was AMAZING!!
We were greeted warmly and pleasantly. The interior decor is below standard for such a high end restaurant. Our server/waitress was very pleasant and informative. The wait for our meals was excessive (45mins+) considering there were only 4 tables seated when we arrived. The meal was okay but both of our steaks were overcooked for our desires but still had great flavor. We didnt want to wait another 30-45 mins for a refire of the meat.
I haven’t been to ROAST in a few years. Everything was STILL great! Our server was Nicole and she was wonderful. The server assistances were just as amazing. Not too forward or intrusive like some places. Great job team! We’ll be back!! Soon! -earl3
The Dry Aged 16 oz Ribeye was tender and full of flavor, especially when paired with an Elijah Craig 18 year! Be mindful that if you order a Medium Steak here it may be more on the medium Rare side,( which was perfectly fine for me! My wife had the Bone in Veal chop which was fantastic. The Staff is tremendous, they are so attentive. The meal was a Wonderful experience.
Everything was Delicious. Both the filet mignon and ribeye was excellent. I'm not the biggest fan of brussel sprouts, but my mind has been changed. By far, how the brussel sprouts are prepared is the best we've ever had. I also suggest the chef board for starters. Eric provided excellent service as well, and we will request him everytime we return if possible.
Our experience was amazing. We had Eric as our server and he was absolutely amazing. We were shocked to find out he had only been there for a short amount of time. His menu expertise was outstanding. It was my best friend and I that came in to celebrate her birthday and he treated her like royalty! We are pretty young, and he didn’t look down on us at all for our age in such a fancy restaurant. We really appreciate that as it is hard to find. We will definitely be back and will be requesting Eric everyone!

We had a great evening with excellent service! An unexpected allergic reaction (?) prompted us to cut the evening shorter than we otherwise would. Staff was incredibly responsive and sincere in helping us understand the components if the dishes that may have caused the temporary issue. Applaud them! Felt we were in good hands!
