The Roaring Fork's Wood Fired Cooking captures the spirit of bold American cuisine, creating flavors that crackle with a rugged edge. In the Old West, the best food was prepared on a simple wood fire. This same spirit, freshness and flavor are at the heart of every dish we serve.View Private Dining Details
Matt was a great waiter. He was very attentive to our questions and gave us outstanding service. We loved the food.
Roaring Fork is on my top 10 list of favorite restaurants in Scottsdale, AZ. The food and service is always top notch!
PWonderful food and service. Beautiful restaurant. We will be back on our next trip.
A bit hidden from view. Worth looking for because the ambiance was wonderful and the food was awesome. Good portions, great service. Highly recommended.
The food was very well prepared and the service was very courteous. Unfortunately the restaurant was super Hot so it made the experience less than stellar. We asked anout the AC and they said it was cranked. Not cranked enough for a AZ summer.
Food was excellent! They had a great happy hour which we enjoyed. We ordered off the main menu because the steaks were DELICIOUS!!
Everything about this place was great! We shared the iceberg wedge salad and the buttermilk chicken fried chicken. Both were delicious. Creme brûlée was stellar! The service was fabulous as well.
The Cedar Plank Salmon was so delicious! The Iceberg Wedge Salad was a treat, being so fresh, chilled, and crisp at just the right temperature. Love those little/mini complimentary cornbread muffins. So tasty! Cozy, casual, and a nice, romantic atmosphere. I will be back!
Roo our waitress was so awesome. She has been our waitress in the past too and is always great.
It was my mom's birthday and they took very good care of her. Thank you
Service and food were excellent! Would definitely dine here again when back in Scottsdale.
Amazing food, great service.
We enjoy Roaring Fork!
Wonderful first time! The food was amazing and the cocktails were perfect!
One of our favorite restaurants in the valley. Always great food and service. Highly recommended.
We had a fantastic meal at Roaring Fork, the staff were attentive but not overly so, we felt welcome and that our experience was important to them. The steaks were sublime! Perfectly cooked and with excellent flavour. If I have a problem, it was the size of the portion of pecan pie - too big!
Too much garlic on my husband's special (filet mignon) kept him up all night with stomach pains. My salmon was excellent but the yukon mashed were unappetizing.
I put on my reservation that this was our anniversary - last year when we went to RF for our anniversary I believe we had a rose on our table. This year, zip. The front desk kept us waiting, although we did have a reservation.
I love this place! Every time I'm there everything is great..the service, the food, the reasonable price and the ambiance.
Loved the buttermilk chicken. Rustic yet refined ambience.
The rib eye was excellent as was the trout almondine - and the pot of green chile is always fantastic. This is one of our favorite restaurants with consistantly great food and service.
Always consistently good service and food. Salmon prepared on a cedar plank is great. House margaritas are a bargain. PS also a good place for happy hour.
We ate there when restaurant week was going on. We both had the steak delminico. It was a 3 course meal everything was excellent except the steak was extra tuff. I had mine cooked medium rare and it was still tough and fatty.
Great service. Food was amazing.
The caesar salad had very little flavor at all, I did not have the anchovies but would have expected some nice zing to the existing dressing.
The cold green beans with the salmon were not al dente ,but very hard.
The delmonico was fine as was the burger, the duck, and the short ribs, thank you.
The desserts were fine as usual.
We had a nice dinner
Shea was a great server. Food over the top great as always.
Arizona Restaurant Week offering. Entrees cooked perfect to order. Creme brulee delicious. Pecan pie not as good as expected it to be. Dan was our waiter. Outstanding service. Good recommendation for wine selections. Got right in on time with reservations. Not rushed at all. Would highly recommend!!!
I made a reservation for the Roaring Fork about 3 weeks before we went to Scottsdale on vacation. My wife and I were not disappointed. Everything was excellent (the service, the salad and the filet).
We get together with a group of friends every few months and like to try different restaurants. All of us travel a lot so we have a great time hearing travel stories. All of us also share a love of good wine. What is important to us is the quality of the food, a semi-quiet dining room or patio so we can talk/hear, and a good wine list. Roaring Fork fit all of our requirements. In addition, our waiter did not hurry us along in any way. We didn’t realize until we were ready to leave that we had been there for 4 hours. It was perfect.
Keep looking, but it would be very hard to find a better, more classy dining experience. Waiters are friendly and knowledgeable on the fair.
We had an excellent time, though the dinner server was incordial
We had cocktails and tortilla soup before our reservation in the bar , fun atmosphere. The tortilla soup could have had more base/ broth to balance the chicken avocado. It was almost dip consistency. Tasty though.
We mentioned this was our first time here and unfortunately they sat us right across from the kitchen! So noisy and hot. Good thing our food was delicious. We like restaurant week In Chicago so enjoyed it here -the halibut, salad and pecan pie ( to go). The other entree ordered was the pork and also delicious.
I will return yet the tables across the kitchen might be better suited to a young couple. I guess in our 50’s we expect to be able to talk and hear each other .
This was our second visit. We are visiting Scottsdale and after dining at Roaring Fork on our last visit in December we wanted to visit it again. Great food and service
Our first visit, food was very good, as well as the service. We experienced much confusion and difficulty in find the location.
This time, we went for AZ Restaurant Week. Wife had the short ribs. I had the Delmonico steak. My dinner was good. Hers was better. The regular main menu has a nice variety of dishes to try. All the selections that I have tried have been pretty good. The Happy Hour selections might be the best deals in Scottsdale.
Perfect spot for our 6 person birthday party.
Great food and service!
We sat right where all the food comes out and were able to watch the chef and the team behind the counter. This was so professional. First class. They even made an error on our order but rather than bring it out or bring one dish out they came over, mentioned the mistake, apologized and started both dishes over so they were perfect. Then they gave us a nice appetizer while we waited. Totally how it should be and the food quality was amazing all the way around. Perfectly cooked and generous portions.
That burger looked amazing as did the fish although we had steak and duck which was perfect
Excellent birthday dinner celebration for my son. The meal was outstanding!
Delicious food. Great service. Beautiful restaurant
Went here during restaurant week. Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. Will definitely return.
