About Roaring Fork - Scottsdale
Roaring Fork is an American Western Bistro. We utilize a combination of ingredients indigenous to the American West and locally grown, including produce, to capture the 'spirit' of the west. The restaurant offers a comfortable, laid back environment that includes friendly professional service and the highest quality food. A great deal of attention is paid in creating the recipes and always using ingredients that are found in the American West. Western cuisine is not a ceremony; it's a celebration! Roaring Fork - Scottsdale Ratings and Reviews
A great place every time that we are in Arizona. My favorite go-to is always a huckleberry margarita. The jalapeno cornbread that comes with every meal is delicious and you have to try the green chile mac and cheese. Every dish I've ever had had never failed me!
Service was just ok. Waiter not very attentive. Steak under cooked. They heated it up more and returned. Rest of party finished dinner ahead of me. No manager follow up or anything else to make up for it. Steaks and sides were warm and not hot. Had to eat quick before they got too cold. The decor is too much of a log cabin feel.
My husband and I are from Pittsburgh, PA. We travel to Arizona every October. At each visit we always go to The Roaring Fork for dinner. This time we were seated by the kitchen, and both of us ordered the Delicious Spit-Roasted Half Chicken. The manager delivered our food and had suggested to get extra au jus, cuz the stuffing sucks up all the liquid. He made an excellent suggestion. Thank you so much.
The service is great and love how everyone works together. The atmosphere is very nice.
I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Thank you we will be back next year.
Food is very good. If you can get through the obnoxious hostesses. If you arrive 10 mins. before your reservation, you will stand there until that time. (Even though the place was almost empty). They will also argue that you do not have a reservation.....until you show your open table reservation on your phone. (then it suddenly appears). All the while they act like they are doing you a favor . This is not the first time we have been here. Each time there is some problem with the hostess. This will be the last time. There are a lot of good restaurants in Scottsdale.
One of the filet mignons we ordered as under-done to suit my husband's taste. Our waiter took care of it quickly and happily--we couldn't ask for better service. I wished my food had been piping hot when I got it served but it wasn't. The restaurant was soooo bust that night and kudos to our waiter for having done the best humanly possible.
Great food and friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. The queso con puerco was great. My wife had the half chicken and I had the pork tenderloin and both were really good. We were pleasantly surprised with everything and will definitely go back on our next visit to Scottsdale.
I took my wife here for our 12th wedding anniversary. Everything, start to finish, was wonderful. The very friendly staff, the low lighting, the atmosphere, the food especially, and mixed drinks were all great. My only complaint was the family of six with their two semi-rambunctious children seated next to us. We're definitely coming back again.
Great service and food quality. Great menu variety and ambiance in the restaurant. It is an adult restaurant. Not real noisey where we were seated, but bar area was. Would definitely recommend and return to this restaurant. We were a party of four and had a reservation. Would not recommend bringing children.
This was my husband's seventy-fifth birthday and was therefore a very Special occation to us as a family. We had a very nice cozy corner which was in a quiet area, and we could chat and laugh and share some family news. The steaks were wonderfully prepared and so was the fish. He especially enjoyed his Pecan pie and the most delicious ice cream----I had a few tastes!
Thanks for a lovely evening!
