American
Roaring Fork is an American Western Bistro. We utilize a combination of ingredients indigenous to the American West and locally grown, including produce, to capture the 'spirit' of the west. The restaurant offers a comfortable, laid back environment that includes friendly professional service and the highest quality food. A great deal of attention is paid in creating the recipes and always using ingredients that are found in the American West. Western cuisine is not a ceremony; it's a celebration! The robust flavors and the courage to try something different is what we are all about. We would like to invite everyone to experience our 'spirit' while enjoying our food and hospitality.

The outdoor area where we were seated had ZERO ambiance and feels like a make shift dining area. Very disappointed.

We have always enjoyed Roaring Fork, but not this time. I brought 4 guests, telling them how great the food was. Our drinks were excellent, but then suddenly with no prior notice, the waitress came over and said we had to order as the kitchen would close in 15 minutes. We ordered, and when the food came, it was very subpar. The salmon was completely raw, and the pork I ordered was overdone and tough. In fairness, they did not charge us for the salmon, but overall it just was not what I have expected from this generally good restaurant.

The meal and service were excellent. The staff did not acknowledge my wife’s birthday, which was the reason for the dinner.

Great date night spot. Definitely recommend the boneless fried chicken (get spicy!). Husband and I both couldn't believe how delicious it was. Also, we don't even like pecan pie and theirs knocked our socks off. So great with the salted caramel ice cream!!

If you want a place to go that offers amazing service & amazing food, do yourself a favor and come to Roaring Fork. My dinner group was fortunate to have the manager as our server who was friendly, professional, and is above and beyond with his menu knowledge. As a group we had the wings and oysters for apps (the wings were incredible tasty), and for entrees we ordered steaks, halibut, and trout. All individuals mentioned how delicious their food was. For dessert we had cheesecake, pecan pie, and creme brulee and if I had to recommend, I'd say order all of them because they were delicious. From start to finish, Roaring Fork's food and our service was perfect. Highly recommend trying this restaurant and if possible, meet the manager who will be beyond friendly and helpful to make your experience great!

We enjoyed the food here, but wouldn’t say exceptional. We shared a ribeye, had street corn and mashed potatoes. Started with wedge salads and finished with pecan pie. Along with middle of the road bottle of wine it was over 200 before the tip. It just didn’t seem like a 200 meal. I think the way to go would be the happy hour menu. Split the hamburger and Fries for 12.50 and add 2 salads for another 13 and you would be plenty full for under 30 and the hamburger looked good and was very big! That was probably why the bar was full.

Our service was excellent. I went with my husband and 2 kids, 14 and 11. My 11 year old had salmon and devoured it. The rest of us had steak cooked medium rare which was perfect

I haven't been here since last January as I had left an OK review, back again for another try especially as dining has changed so drastically with the new Covid rules. I made a 7:00 p.m. Open Table Friday reservation for 2. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated right away. I noticed all the booth seating had glass partitions. Menu holders I "hope" were being well disinfected. Though I observed new table cloths were being laid out, there was no spray cleaning of tables or chairs. Employees all masked (only 1 server wearing mask below her nose), hand sanitizer stations all over. Dan our waiter introduced himself, made the evening very pleasant.

My friend and I ordered cocktail, excellent Cosmos if you like them. My friend started with the Ceasar Salad, then we had the Rainbow Trout and Sugar Cured Duck Breast. All the food was very good, cooked to request, hot, fresh, presented nicely and tasted excellent.

If you haven't dined here in a while, note that the menu has changed, my 2 favorite items and not offer, Tortilla soup and the mussels. nor was the Delmonico Steak. I will also note, during this new age of mask wearing our table location in a corner that had all the main traffic of employees and customers hustling by was not another seating location repeat for me. And as I have mentioned in other restaurants, not their fault but again customers not wearing mask or wearing them wrong.

Atmosphere: Covid mask wearing by employees and hand sanitizer. Service: very good. Food: very good

Usually this is one of my favorite places to eat. However, my visit was subpar when it came to service. It took forever to get our drink order taken, they have stopped with the bread service, and our waiter seemed more concerned with the other tables than ours. Our food came out and we had no utensils. Someone brought utensils and no steak knives(we both had steak). Perhaps they were understaffed, I’m not sure, but for those prices I would definitely expect better service.

The most horrible meal we have had since living here for twenty years. We tried it due to Arizona Restaurant Week. We eat out a few times a week and this was a very bad experience. The steak was fatty and I would not even consider it a choice piece of meat. One half of the steak you could not even eat and the rest was tuff. The vegies were not cooked because they were raw. You could not cut them it with a knife. Ok the deserts were very good!! We will never go back shame on them.

We chose the 3 course meal which included bacon wrapped filet(very tough), brocolini(stringy and flavorless) with mashed potatoes (one spoonful) . Turned out to not be a good value or experience.
