Food, service and ambiance was great. Only drawback was the wait on the reservation was almost 30 minutes even though we arrived early.
Our favorite special event dining spot when in Scottsdale. Another delicious meal with first class service.
As always everything was great - food, service, drinks, desert, special occasion treatment, and setting. 3 course meal and braised beef excellent.
Everyone was happy with their meal, but the roasted half chicken seemed to be the favorite of the evening…
We had a staycation in Scottsdale and booked this restaurant…..our first time. We highly recommend it! Tanya was our waitress and she was excellent. My husband had the beef short ribs and I had the Cedar planked salmon. Both were delicious and prepared perfectly. We recommend you give this place a try. Don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
39th Wedding Anniversary
Very friendly staff and fabulous food!!!
Great ambiance, excellent food, highly recommended
The favorite item was the huckleberry margarita.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere, service and food were great. They have a great happy hour too.
This restaurant is a perennial (and very reliable) favorite. It has survived verywell over the years despite a change to corporate ownership, the bankruptcy of the main tenant in their building, a year long road construction that made getting in a challenge and then, of course, the pandemic.
Our experience last night was top notch. The maitre de was welcoming and our server was attentive without being obtrusive. The food was just as good as I remembered it. My double cut pork chop was great. My friends had steak and salmon, respectively, and each had good reports.
In a town where overpriced restaurants have become the norm (Steak 44, Ocean 44, Bourbon & Bones, Nobu, Maple & Ash--you know who your are!!) the value for money at Roaring Fork was quite exceptional.
The only not-entirely positive note would be that many among the clientele were a bit shabbily dressed--even by Phoenix summer standards. RF should consider doing what Houstons/Hillstone have done--institute and publish a reasonable dress code. No shorts, jeans, etc. It would class up the place a lot.
Congratulations on sustaining a high level of performance for decades.
Great date night. Place is always packed because the food is great, the servers are friendly and attentive and it’s in a great spot. Love it.
This place never disappoints. Drinks and filet was awesome
Roaring Fork never disappoints. Excellent food! Bar is always lively and fun!!
Although we made two reservations (because this app only lets you set reservations for four people) but really wanted to be a party of 8. it was confusing but they really went out of their way to accommodate us. The food and the service was amazing. Would totally recommend
Wondeful service. Our waiter was fantastic. We had dinner and the food was the best. Will be returning soo. Highly recommend this restaurant
The food was excellent. The service was outstanding. I would highly recommend Roaring Fork!
The value for the price was just not worth it. The food was good, the wine was OK. Service was fine. With a $75 gift card the dinner still cost close to $200 with the tip.
I have been a Phoenix resident for over 20 years and this was my first time coming to RF. Upon reading an overwhelmingly good number of reviews, I decided to bring my wife here for dinner. We started the evening with outstanding cocktails in the bar. When it was time for dinner, our waiter suggested the 3 course dinners. I selected the filet and the wife chose the carnitas. We were equally blown away by the flavor and quality of our meals. I will definitely make this a part of my rotation for dinner.
The food and service was excellent. Highly recommended for an enjoyable experience.
We got there late for our reservation and we were kindly accommodated. Our server was wonderful, drinks the best and our food outstanding! The Filet was done perfectly ans seasoned just right!
Love the restaurant and looking forward to our next visit!!
Food and service was awesome!!
I ordered salmon on a plank medium. It was served to me as if it was flashed over a book of matches. It was cold and mushy. I can’t imagine why a server would bring it to the table, looking as it did! Very bad. Service was very slow.
The food was wonderful, but we were placed next to a vet large and loud group. We had to yell to be heard. It is too bad. I really enjoyed the food.
A comfortable restaurant for everyday dining. The drinks are generous and the menu is varied. I have never had a bad experience there!
Our whole party was so impressed with our server's attentiveness, knowledge of not only the food menu, but the drink menu, and means of accommodating food preferences. The restaurant smells INCREDIBLE with the wood fire oven. The food was VERY good, my particular meal was an 8/10, but everyone else gave it a 10/10! It's a great place for a more upscale family dinner, especially with older family members. It's dark enough to give ambiance, but light enough that you can easily read the menu, etc. It's also not loud, but enough noise to be able to speak at a normal volume and not feel like you're disrupting other diners. Can't wait to go back!
We hadn't been to The Roaring Fork for a long time and enjoyed our evening. Our server Brian was terrific, very friendly and efficient.
Food was delicious. We got the buttermilk chicken, the bistecca, tortilla soup, and bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. All were delicious. The creme brûlée is too notch!
We had great service, the food was fantastic. I really loved the 3 course option, and the Spit Roasted Chicken was really yummy!
The food was excellent (we opted for the 8oz filet mignon, a sampling of all the sides except the Mexican Street Corn, and the huckleberry cheesecake and creme brulee for dessert) - everything was DELICIOUS, but some standouts were the green chili mac and cheese, the yukon mashed potatoes, and the overall perfect seasoning on our steaks. The cocktails we ordered were strong (gin & tonic, whiskey & coke), the wine list was extensive, and our chosen libations complemented our meals well. Our server Matt was attentive, engaged, and helpful! We'll definitely return for our next celebration!
Went to try Big A$$ burger. It was happy hour so $12.50. Nice burger with fries at a great price. Patio was nice and not too hot. From AZ so not a visitor and use to weather.
Would go back again.
Great food and fun -but not hectic-atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Very fun place. They take care of their summer customers with great "Happy Hour" Specials. Excellent value and Same Delicious Quality.
Food was excellent. It was holiday, full place. Hostess was rude. Waitress was slammed-waited a long time.
Excellent food and service, as usual! Always enjoy dining at Roaring Fork.
Good is always exceptional. Service excellent!
Our Waiter Brian Did an outstanding job to make our 4th of July dinner memorable. We ordered the 8oz filet, cooked perfectly as we expected. The bottom line, we left the restaurant feeling very good.
Service was great, server was very attentive and courteous! Food was excellent as usual.
This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it!! The service and the atmosphere was great and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back!!!
