Beautiful place, great food, amazing and quick service. Our waiter Matt was astounding!! Thank you!!!
Just great food and service.
Wonderful place to celebrate a birthday! Service was exceptional and the food was great, as well. Will definitely return!
Our server was excellent and the food was delicious. We had the rotisserie chicken and the cedar plank salmon.
Sat in bar area for happy hour. Everything great except service a little slow. Doesn’t seem to be enough servers for the very popular happy hour
My favorite all time in Phoenix! Never disappoints
Good food & a nice location. Service was a little lacking.
This restaurant is consistently EXCELLENT. Every menu item I have ordered has been perfection.
Very enjoyable. We’ve been there before and can always expect a great experience.
My husband and I love this place ! They are so consistent ! The food is always great and the customer service is excellent! We have been visiting this place twice a year from California for about 3 years and they never disappoint us! Thank you!
We go there every birthday. The food is amazing and so is the service.
We went out with friends for a birthday celebration with two toddlers. Service was great, dinner was delicious, and everything was great! We especially appreciated the wait staff and how patient they were with accommodations for two two year olds. Highly recommend! Great value with the featured dinner menu!
Parents day at ASU
Great place to bring out of town guests!!!
LOVED everything about this restaurant!!! Was trying to figure out how to work in another meal before leaving lovely Scottsdale! Service & food were excellent! Many delicious choices, complimentary yeast rolls & gourmet cornbread muffins came soon after ordering. Will definitely return to this restaurant when back in Scottsdale! 😁
always the food very good. the Monster hamburger is great
Where can you go that Matt (the manager ) got us our boarding passes
cant wait to go back
Both things that I ordered, the duck and the burger, were overcooked. But the ambiance and the pleasantness of the experience would bring me back.
Maybe not as fancy as you’d like for an anniversary dinner, but the service and the food make up for it big time!! Our waitress Shea was outstanding and the food was fabulous!!
Food was excellent, hospitality and atmosphere were great.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Roaring Fork -Scottsdale. Everything was excellent except for all having to back out of several dead end aisles trying to find a space in the crowded parking lot. It’s no fault of the restaurant within the office complex — just a frustrating experience trying to get to happy hour on time.
Service is the first thing - excellent! Knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely interested in making the experience as good as it could be. Had the ribeye on the bone and it was amazing and cooked exactly as ordered. Nice room too with an open kitchen.
Food quality and service are excellent. Acoustics are lacking, so the restaurant Is noisy which makes conversation difficult. Reasonably priced.
Our waitress was Tania
So attentive aware of food allergies
Queso and guacamole awesome
And others Filet mignon
Mexican street corn
And Brussels sprouts
They are a must in Scottsdale
The food was great, service was great
First time to eat here. Amanda took great care of us. Beef shorts ribs were fantastic. Pecan pie was delicious. Blanton's bourbon is always special. Will return for more.
We sat outside and thought the waiter forgot us a couple of times; I don’t think you should have to wait too long for your drinks.
Food was good; hamburger wasn’t cooked the way I wanted but okay.
This place is all over excellent in every way! We can’t wait to return!
Always a treat to visit when I’m in town. And our server was terrific.
We were sat right away even though they were very busy! The server was spot on and friendly.
We will be back again very soon!
Just not good. No good flavors very basic. Avoid if possible
We always love the food and service. My husband is in a wheelchair right now so we asked to be seated at a table in order to pull his chair up to it instead of our usual booth. We were given one by a door to the outside patio, which was fine UNTIL a massive crowd of people started coming through to go out there. It was a non-ending line of noisy, talking people right up against two of the people at our table. I’m all for people having a good time but think we should have been seated at a table that would be more enjoyable for a group with a handicapped person since management obviously knew that large group would be there and at what time. I had asked about a round table we saw but was told it was reserved for a party of 5. I think anyone being seated at one of the tables by the doors to the patio should be warned ahead of time if there’s going to be that kind of disturbance so they can get other accommodations or change their plans and dine elsewhere. Two of our group were from other states and we wanted to show them what a great place you have. We’re long time customers and would hope we’d be given more consideration in seating placement.
Unbelievably grateful for spending our anniversary here at Roaring Fork! The card with all the Team members names was truly beyond anything we could have expected. It truly made the evening memorable and we will forever be patrons for that small but so meaningful card! Thank You for the exceptional service and hospitality!
We had the trout and pork medallions which were both very good and our server was great.
Situated at the foot of an office building, the much lauded terraces are but the side of a road and under the aforementioned office block. The interior is dated and shabby and for a Sunday night it was very quiet. The food was pretty average I had the trout which was soaked in so much butter it was fatty and my husband had roast chicken which was just that roast chicken nothing special. The sides averaged at $9 which seemed rather a lot for a baked or mashed potato so we didn’t bother. My mojito was warm!! It had some ice in but took a while to cool down. We were pretty disappointed with our evening.
I had heard about this restaurant for many years so decided to have my husband ‘s family birthday party there. We had a perfect table, great service and everyone said their meal was great! We will return
Food & Drink Experience:
The food was mediocre. The best thing was an appetizer of mussels with chorizo. My husband’s double thick pork chop, while it looked good, lacked any depth of flavor - the meat had not been seasoned very well, you had to rely on the condiment on top of it, a onion jam, for flavor. Similarly my burger needed salt and pepper. The broccoli side was not cooked all the way through and it too lacked much flavor. The chocolate toffee pecan pie was served cold, so had lumps of coagulated chocolate throughout and very thick pastry.
My martini was served in a room temperature vs chilled glass, so got warm quickly. Luckily it came with a little shaker with the ice, so I could pour the martini back in the shaker to shake and chill it.
Service & Atmosphere:
Our waiter was pleasant enough, but didn’t know the wine specials, we had to show him the name of the bottle on the special insert card on the menu.
The manager was walking around the peripheral of the restaurant with a slumped posture, with low energy looking like he was just biding his time to go home. His energy transferred on down to the rest of the staff as overall atmosphere was low energy. I didn’t see the manager interface with any of the patrons or make any eye contact; never once did I see him walk amongst the tables.
Roaring Fork was highly recommended by local friends who frequent the restaurant. We drove in
from Palm Springs, CA for one night. We ordered the green Chile appetizer to share because friends raved about it. It was indeed delicious.
We then ordered the 16 oz ribeye pre fix menu for $60 that I shared with a friend. My husband enjoyed the 20 oz. Bone in ribeye. Our shared 16 oz was the fattiest steak I have ever seen. We could barely cut it to split it because all areas were covered in fat. The flavor of the meat itself was not even tasty which you think it would be based on the amount if fat. It also came out more rare than the medium rare we requested. My friend sent her portion back to the kitchen to be cooked a bit longer. It still did not taste any better. We took it home for the dog. Bottom line, appetizer really good but I do not recommend ordering the steaks. Perhaps it was lower quality due to the pre fix menu price. It's days later and I'm still so disappointed to have taken a friend there for such tuck. The ambience however was great though and the service was good. We did not want to complain to the server so we did not tell him how unhappy we were.
Standard quality food offerings similar to a suburban bar. Folks we met in Scottsdale hyped this place and the establish did not deliver to expectations especially the service. The service was terribly slow and seemed impersonal. I hope to identify a fab place to bring clients and will be removing this place from my list.
Service was basic. At that price point one would expect attention to details. Food was bland at best. Like an Outback Steakhouse with sone lipstick on.
Great service. Love the huckleberry margaritas!
