I regret not coming here earlier!! I absolutely enjoyed my experience here. Thank you!!!!
The Roaring Fork has always been my favorite restaurant for happy hour and dinner. I have never been disappointed with the food, the beverages and the service.
Food was good, but not great!!
Probably not coming back...
MY tortilla soup didn't have much flavor and it was too cool. i started to send it back to warm it up but felt uncomfortable. my husband's food was mediocore.
the service was good and i liked the decor
The Hostess was not friendly nor did she acknowledge you when you walked in especially when you are standing right in front of her.
Everything was amazing! I loved the lamb fondue most of all! We also had a very tasty braised short rib with mash potatoes and Mexican corn. I can’t wait to go back!
Our second time to the roaring fork, this time for restaurant week. Service was over the top fabulous. Everyone went away happy. My critique was that the tortilla soup was under seasoned and not served very warm. Will return for sure.
The food was very good. Our server was great. She was very personable and made the experience better by taking the time to answer questions and just idle conversation.
I was in town for a work event in which we were unsure of our evening plans so it was tough to set a solid reservation time and number of people. I called the restaurant after the scheduled reservation time and they were still able to take us an hour late and with double the people. I was so grateful for their flexibility. The food was great! Service, excellent. I would return next time I'm in town! Thank you for being wonderful!
Brought a visiting guest for dinner. All three ordered our favorite entree Trout. Service by Ardrian was great, attentive but not intrusive as we visited with our friend. Trout was excellent as always.
We have not been to the Roaring Fork in a couple of years, it was a friend’s birthday and the venue was perfect. The food was excellent. The service was fantastic. My friends want to come back. Looking forward to seeing you again soon
Always a Great Place to Dine. Top Notch establishment. Priced Right
We were there for 2 hours and my wife didnt even get to eat her 55$ steak as it took over an hour between appetizers and entrees and then it was under cooked! Still no communication from the management staff about this issue!!
Great food/great service
Great atmosphere...beautiful decor. Service was great, food was great..recommend!
My meal was wonderful. The service was impeccable. The seating was a bit odd. As a single diner I wasn’t expecting to be seated next to the kitchen. But the food made up for it. My dinner was
I took my team there for dinner. We had everything from The ginormous burger to the salmon. Rave reviews all the way around! Our server was personable and on the spot, food delicious and the ambience perfect for our needs.
Great place to take the family or friends! Happy hour all day Sunday and Monday. Great menu and fantastic food.
Food was incredible and the overall mood was very good. I will definitely be returning for another meal.
It's always a good time coming here. It's worth the drive to come here for a great experience for the food and the area shopping.
We had tried to get into Roaring Fork before but no luck...it's so popular and good that there's always a crowd. You must have a reservation. They did take us on time, which was great, and gave us a beautiful square table on the patio. The service was outstanding and everyone loved their food. I liked mine. I found a lot of the food to have a lot of sugar in it, so I would say the quality is excellent, but many of the items on the menu have hidden sugar. My braised short rib was good, a little fattier than I would've liked, but mostly good, and unfortunately the sauce was really sweet. I prefer more tangy than sweet and again, I do not like food that has a sugar-based sauce. Otherwise, top notch and definitely going back but will modify whatever I get NOT to have sugar!
The food is always good at the roaring fork. They sat us next to the kitchen area which was interesting but a bit noisy. Our waiter Bob did a great job. Their servings are ample enough to split so we did that and were able to have a few extra sides including brussels sprouts and twice baked potatoes. My husband and I split the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin and it was delicious. On to desserts....One party in our foursome had cheesecake, my husband and I split a hot peach pie with ice cream. And my other friend had a cheesecake with huckelberry topping but there were not much huckleberries. All said and done this restaurant has consistently good food and I would return.
I ordered the Ahi special and it was not good. Our waiter encouraged me to reorder the redfish dinner and it was good. The food is good but we wouldn't return. The service from our waiter was outstanding
We were 3 couples....everyone enjoyed their food, our server was very good and the food was great....we were happy we took our guests to the Roaring Fork.
First time visitor and was pleasantly surprised with food quality and great menu. Service started out great but kind of wound down near latter part of meal. Would recommend another visit.
Roaring Fork was recommended to us by a friend. While the men had steaks which they enjoyed we had the salmon. It was excellent. Would definitely return again
The steak flavor is 2nd to none. Great service and a very reasonable bill for the quality of food. High recommend.
I was looking for an outdoor venue--Their patio is not what I consider outdoor-enclosed on 3 sides with a busy freeway street in back. The food and service was very good but the noise level especially on the patio was almost unbearable.
Lots of things that we wanted to try on the menu, since many things were appealing.
Some in our group tried the green chili pork and said it was outstanding.
We ordered the steak salad, pork tenderloin (x3), and rainbow trout (x2).
Would like to try the burger and fried chicken.
Service was poor
Food was disappointing
Good food nice atmosphere
The food was fresh & well prepared. My husband had the redfish & I had the trout, both were delicious. Our waiter was very accommodating for my gluten free needs, and his service was delivered with a smile & style.
We enjoyed our meal in AZ so much that we already have res at the RF in Austin where we’re visiting for a conference.
Was seated next to a party of 20 celebrating young boys birthdays....very unpleasant as Parents encouraged the kids to be way over the top with noise...difficult to understand they lacked total common courtesy. We were a table of six and the only table sharing a common cordoned off space. No other place to move...sometimes I feel open table bookings receive the lowest priority seating. Lots of times stuck off back in a corner, no view, etc. What say you?
After reading all the great reviews on this restaurant our family was looking forward to a great dining experience. Unfortunately, both the food and service was not up to par of what we were expecting. This was our first time here so we looked to the waitress for recommendations. The highly recommended chicken was dry, the ribs were fatty, and the pork chop was certainly not double-cut for the price. As far as service, other than the person who kept refilling our water glasses, our waitress was nonexistent. Sadly, this will not be a restaurant we will be returning to again on future vacations.
Had a really nice meal Great ambiance!
This place already has Great reviews. Which was why I chose to bring my wife here for her birthday. Atmosphere was awesome. Sort of a western feel with thr touch of class that you would expect from a Scottsdale restaurant. Food and service were excellent.
Food great, service fast, location convenient, noise level acceptable, dining experience superb, waitress knowledgeable, receptionist friendly, restrooms very clean, setting excellent and prices reasonable.
We forgot our credit card and they called back within 10 minutes so we could return to pick it up.
I had read great reviews on this place. First of all it’s located in a large business park. It’s a very odd location. It took 10 minutes to get water and and a wine list. The mixed drinks were terrible. I had to send back 2 drinks and normally I can drink anything. Our server was always missing and there was alway at least 3 other server standing around the computers chatting. The food was actually disgusting. The steak was covered in pepper and inedible. The chicken was dry and cold. They messed the bill up at the end and overcharged is $10. I hate writing bad reviews but this place 100% deserves it.
Second visit and a new favorite. Interesting menu, love the fresh guacamole and salad variety.
As always, Matt and the staff provided exceptional service and amazing food!
