This was a great place to celebrate our anniversary ! WE had such a great time and WE will def go back!
This was a great place. The food and the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back again.
Had a really nice evening visiting with friends. The meal and service was good, although it took a long time before we received our meal.
We had reservations what I thought was for the bar for the happy hour, but that does not exist but the nice thing about happy hour during the summertime it’s until 10 o’clock
We decided to give up our seats for the restaurant and just wait for some table to open up in the bar area because it was full of energy
A friend was in town from Korea and wanted to experience an American steakhouse. Roaring Fork did not disappoint and we had a great time.
Excellent food; good service as usual. We will return.
Our server was fantastic. She had a great attitude, and was very knowledgable.
Roaring Fork is a bang for your buck kind off place. The food, service and ambiance are all decent. If you like to eat huge portions, this is the place for you. If you clean your plate, you'll need to be wheel barrowed out the door. My Cadillac STS margarita was more sweet and sour than tequila. Life is too short to drink mediocre drinks. I didn't finish it. The wine list is extensive, decent and fairly priced. Overall our experience was positive. Add a star if you are a Chili's or TGIF fan and if you love huge portions.
Mussels w/ chorizo were excellent as was trout entree. The free bread was served hot and was very tasty. Server "Stephen" was very professional and on top of his game.
Food and staff was amazing! Was celebrating my anniversary, and received a letter signed by the whole staff, and compmimentary dessert! Amazing experience.
Fantastic food, with great service.
Green Chili Stew is the best ....have it as appetizer every time
very nice, suggest wearing a collared shirt , I had a nice tee and felt a bit out of place
Great food and good value in a nice location that is quiet and enjoyable. Staff was responsive and Daniel was a great server.
Food always excellent & friendly accommodating
Terrific food. Love the service and the menu offerings. Great prices and portions at Happy Hour.
We have come here for several years on special occasions. This year the seats at the table we booked were cracked and torn with the foam showing through. The waiter seemed to have forgotten about us. The pork shoulder carnitas I ordered was fatty and burned on one edge to carbon - nicely hidden by sauce. The waiter never asked about it. We know what Roaring Fork is capable of, but it was not worth the price we paid this year.
The Fork's menu although definitely southwestern slanted comfort food and clever creations. The food was definitely good and well prepared but the high point was the service. Aside from totally friendly it was lightning fast. I don't think I am to far off when I estimate our party of four was all served within 6 to 7 minutes of our order which included fried chicken, salmon, and other cooked dishes. As packed and as big as this place is I don't know how they do it. If have a bad blind date and want your dinner to go quick this is the place!
Have been twice and was not disappointed either time. Food was great, drinks were as well and our server was excellent!!
Our experience at Roaring Fork was outstanding. We were seated promptly at our reservation time, despite a very busy restaurant. The service was friendly and excellent. The menu was attractive, and the food was delicious.
Based on our experience, I highly recommend Roaring Fork.
This place is great. Food was fantastic and service was top notch. One of our party had to leave unexpectedly early and management had his meal boxed up and did not charge us for it. A real classy move. Will be going back next time we are in town.
Happy Hour is only in the bar area, where it's impossible to get a seat.
Everything about Roaring Fork is always suburb, and again, it didn't disappoint. You can't beat it for quality of food, ambience and service. It is always one of our favorite restaurants in Phoenix/Scottsdale.
It started out poorly when my request thru Open Table for a nice table for 2 lead to a small table in a walkway by extra chair & highchair storage!!! After I asked to be moved the experience was wonderful our waiter has great the food was exceptional
Everything was very good. I always dine here when I am in Scottsdale.
Sons birthday with granddaughter. As always with the Fork, OUTSTANDING.
We visited for restaurant week and the selections were very good. Upon our arrival I felt the hostess staff (2 young ladies and a gentleman server) were a little unprofessional. I'm standing in front of them to check in for our reservation and the 3 were talking and joking for what I felt was just a little too long while I was standing there. Then the gentleman "yelled out" the name of the next group to seat who were already seated according to the young ladies. They laughed and then he then proceeds to "yell out" my name. When I quietly said "that's me" the 3 started to laugh again. Yes, It was funny but I felt the "yelling out" of names for such a nicer restaurant was rather tacky. He says "well....I'm new". He's walking us back to our table when I notice the nice patio and ask if outside seating is available. He say's "I'll check" and leaves us standing there for so long that one of our party goes to the front to see if we can sit outside. Other than this the food was very good, our waitress was VERY good and friendly and personable as was the management who came over to check on our dishes. We will go to Roaring Fork again. It's a nice restaurant.
All around an excellent restaurant. Great staff, ambiance and food.
I've been wanting to try Roaring Fork for quite some time. So, when Restaurant Week rolled around it was perfect timing. We got there early enough so we could sit at the bar and have a coctail first. Great bartender, top shelf liquor and very comfortable. Moved to our table; Shea was our server. Knowledgeable about the menue and friendly. Food was wonderful and an all around enjoyable evening.
Went for restaurant week-will definitely be going back food was wonderful!
We came in for restaurant week with friends from out of town. Had the duck it was OK, I was expecting more of a wow. After all it is duck and we live in Arizona. I know they’re happy hours are good it was “a live and learn kind of thing”.
Shay, our server, was awesome. Mixed green salad was yummy and the pecan dessert was also great.
One of our new favorites! Food, wine exceptional. Daryl, our server, handled our special dietary requests splendidly. Highly recommended.
Amazing food and wonderful restaurant. Definitely a great place for any dinner occasion.
Everything was really nice. We attended for restaurant week and got to try some amazing food!! The service was so great! Pricing in the regular menu wasn't as bad as I thought it would have been. Will definitely be back.
Came here for Arizona Restaurant week. We made reservations for 5:00 on a Friday. We waited about 10-15 minutes before getting seated. The dinning area we stayed in was more secluded and quite since it was away from the bar area. However, they were busier as it was around happy hour time. We ordered the raspberry green salad, tortilla soup, 16oz Delmonico steak, sugar cured duck breast, and creme brûlée, and pecan brownie for dessert. The tortilla soup was flavorless, the steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium well, we were disappointed but the flavor of the steak was good. The duck was cooked well, and came with a green Chile macaroni and cheese and was delicious. However, the Brussels sprouts were awful and mushy, I love Brussels sprouts and didn’t touch them. This was our first time at Roaring Fork, and we had been looking forward to coming here for awhile. I think if I return it will be for happy hour only. I was not impressed with their dinner menu, it appeared rushed.
