   Disappointed in our experience. Started with my wife and daughter freezing due to A/C blowing on them. After a move everything seemed fine. Then service was poor in the bar area. Water glasses never refilled. Waiter left and never handed off our table. Sat 20 minutes until flagging down wait staff for service. On top of that my steak was not up to previous meals.

   My husband and I are regulars. We are there just about every Friday and everytime, we receive great service and great food. Sydney, the hostess is always friendly, kind, full of life and very welcoming. The serving staff is knowledgeable and attentive. I've bought several gift cards over the years for friends and they've had a great experience as well. Definitely our preferred restaurant.

   The Roaring Fork is located in a beautiful wooden spot to where the patio experience was great. The drinks we had was something I wish I could have at home after work, and the steak was so tender and succulent. The mash potato, mac and cheese are wonderful. You must go and enjoy the place

   Steak was probably the best I have ever had. Melted in my mouth. Beautiful ambiance for anniversary/birthday celebration. Food and drinks were delicious. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend.

    Roaring Fork is my very favorite restaurant! The staff is very professional and helpful! Eric and Sydney are there to make sure that you have everything you need for a fantastic dining experience! All of the servers: Debbie, Danielle, Nate, Sarah, Bailey, Lathaniel, Banks, and Liz are amazing! They are so thoughtful, friendly, and professional! Thank you so much for another wonderful dinner!

    We ate on the patio when it was 55 outside. The heaters kept it very comfortable. Noise level was quiet, there were maybe 6 tables seated outside. I had the trout almandine and it was deliciously prepared. We shared a lump crab cake, also cooked to perfection. My husband had the Pork Tomahawk and was sadly very disappointed. He ate is all because he was hungry and it "wasn't inedible". He said the problem was the sauce tasted like maple syrup. The veggies that topped the pork was mediocre as well. The chili mac n cheese is the best and did not disappoint. We just know not to order the pork tomahawk again.

    Nice location and setting; great place for happy hour when weather is nice. Service was good. Took way too long to receive our cornbread appetizer. Soups/salads were served to us and the cornbread had still not arrived. Food was just OK. Not bad, but just not anything to write home about. In a party of 4, we had 2 trout meals (brown butter good, but if it weren't for that, there would have been no flavor), Pork Tenderloin/medallions lacked any real flavor/very bland and Cedar Plank Salmon, again, just ok. It was mentioned that while good, not better than what is made at home on the grill. Pricing is pleasing and not over the top, which was good. Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed the evening (restaurant is VERY LOUD!) and the evening, and comments won't keep us from coming back necessarily, but it was just meh.

    Was disappointed in the service. Took over 30 minutes to get a water refill and finally got one by getting up and asking another staff member. Our server disappeared for long stretches. Started off good, but I feel they possibly have not staffed back up since the pandemic. The manager was working hard doing all sorts of jobs. Disappointed they did not have any bone-in ribeyes or 50 day aged cuts available.

    So good! We got way too much food and ended up taking lots home. Everything was delicious. I don’t know if I’ll ever find cause to come back to Austin, but if I do, I’ll be back to this restaurant!

    Slow service, pricey food. Caesar with Steak- Meat was tough and too Spicy. Had a previous experience in February, 4 pm, Saturday, restaurant half empty, and I could only get outside or bar table.

    My husband and I were celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary, and I must say our experience was incredible.The service was excellent thanks to Lance our server ,and the food was top tier.We even got a chance to talk to Danielle(server) who was also Jamaican.We will definitely be back!

    Reserved at 4:00 on the patio for my husband’s birthday. We were seated in the happy hour patio area, with a large, fairly loud what looked to be work group seated along the rail between us and the lake. The food was very good, especially the Brussels sprouts. They brought my husband a dessert of his choice, then apologized that they forgot to write happy birthday on the plate. We’ve always really enjoyed Roaring Fork, but honestly, I felt like since I had put on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday that they could have at least tried to make him feel at least a little bit special. Other than that, food and venue were as good as always.

    My husband and I had a great date night at Roaring Fork! This was our first visit but we will definitely be back! We were highly impressed by the portion sizes (larger than expected), all the food was delicious, and the service was on point. We got the skillet cornbread as an appetizer, the rotisserie chicken and the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin as entrees, and green chile mac n' cheese and corn as sides. We would get each of those dishes again but also can't wait to try their other dishes!

    Came here to celebrate a birthday with my spouse. The service was great. Our server was very attentive and helpful (gave good recommendations). All the food we ordered was delicious too (filet, truffle fries, Mac n cheese, potatoes, trout)! The trout was so flavorful and better than I expected. The interior was not as fancy or as much of a date spot as I’d anticipated, but still nice. Seemed to be more families with kids than people on dates. Overall was a delicious dinner and good experience, we will be back.

    Girl's night out was divine! Our server and all the other staff were cheerful and very helpful. We both had the Filet and it was cooked to perfection. I like mine medium rare plus and they did it just right. Great wine choices too and our server picked both for us. I enjoy this little steakhouse very much. Wonderful location too! Make a reservation unless you're coming for HH which is also excellent.
