The Sunday brunch buffet for Father's Day was just so horribly disappointing. The food choices and quality were not on par with the excellent menu options prior to the buffet idea. The buffet line was awkward and the noise level was even worse than usual in the bar area. Two people, one mimosa each, over $100. No. No. No. If they make this a regular Sunday offering and do not bring back the menu, I will not return.

Fathers Day: Brunch was fair at best. Menu items are typically excellent but not available on Sundays. Too bad!!

The brunch buffet was fantastic! so many options and everything was delicious. Our server was amazing and got to us quickly, even though it was busy for Father's Day. The only downside was they put us at a table that was clearly set up to accommodate more guests and people almost ran into us.

Food was decent. Service - was pretty terrible. We went for Father's day. Our waitress took forever to take our drink orders (and come to our table for the first time) another waitress felt sorry for us and brought our kids water. When our waitress asked if we knew about the buffet we said no, and she walked off. We overheard the other waitress explain to another table... Seriously felt almost intentional. I carried all of my plates away from the table. I also got my own drink menu. I wanted a second mimosa, but never got the chance to order one.

This restaurant is very hard to beat! EXCEPTIONAL FOOD and SERICE! There are few places that rival the Roaring Fork at Stonelake. This location (near the domain) is one that never DISAPPOINTS. Bring your friends, finace' or family! They'll love you for it!

Unbeknown to me, we were limited to the Sunday Buffet. While it looked delicious and my husband enjoyed I was unable to participate. Hence, due to dietary concerns (Paleo and Gluten Free) the waitress checked with the chief to see if they could prepare something for me. They suggested Salmon and Spinach. Both excellent options. Honestly, it was some of the best Salmon I have eaten and the spinach was outstanding. The manager brought my plate to me and made sure everything was good....

Thank you for accommodating my needs in such a gracious manner.

Wow. We had a great time. The chicken Waldorf salad was so amazing - I think about it at least one a day!

We sat on the patio and watched the sun go down. So great.

We totally will go back. I highly recommend this place!

Was not crazy about the grilled salmon on the Texas two step menu. Had it a few months back and it was amazing. Yesterday not so much. Seem to be setting in a pool of something. I ordered well done and it was not.

We were there for the brunch buffet and it was very good. It had a good selection of dishes.
Our server Matt was very attentive, courteous and friendly. He really made our time there very enjoyable.
We will definitely be going back there next time we visit Austin.

This was the first Sunday for the brunch buffet at The Roaring Fork and it was wonderful!! Not at all crowded but I think this will change once word gets out. Both carving stations with roast beef & turkey were wonderful as well as the fried chicken tenders coated in honey. My husband and I tried almost everything in small portions and everything was very, very good. I will be returning for this bargain for just $29 per person.

We often celebrate or just dine at Roaring Fork; it's one of our favorite restaurants in Austin. Saturday night was a lot of fun and the food was great as always. However, our waiter seemed a bit bored or distracted all evening. That didn't really detract for our good experience and we hope he feels better soon.

Our wait person, Sarah was her name I believe, was wonderful and we thank Roaring Fork for the dessert on the house for our anniversary.

We've wanted to visit the Roaring Fork - Stonelake for quite some time, but the timing never seemed to work out. I delighted that we finally did get the opportunity to dine there. What a great evening! A pleasant (sincere) greeting when we arrived, an excellent server with just the right amount of attention, great food and even dessert. We'll definitely be regulars now!

We decided to come here to celebrate our 8 year anniversary and were very happy with our choice. We had the delicious queso con puerco and the rotisserie flat bread to start of us before our meal. My husband chose the rib eye and I had the cedar plank salmon. Everything was rich in flavor and the ambience was nice. We definitely will be back!

I have been to Roaring Fork a few times, but this was my wife's first visit. We enjoyed it. It was unusually hot out for May, but we still enjoyed sitting on the patio by the lake. Service was a little slow due to a large highschool band party going on. Otherwise, it was a perfect time and meal.

We had a 5 pm reservation because I am a paraplegic and my caregiver arrives at 8 pm. I also use hearing aids so restaurant noise is hard to converse over. The noise level was OK until about 6:30 when the restaurant started to fill us, so all in all we conversed just fine.

The food was wonderful! The service was prompt and the waiter was quite friendly. Deserts were great (I am always on a diet so rarely have deserts). The scotch/wine/after-dinner drink were generous and yummy! We'd definitely go back.

Beautiful ambience inside, great setting on the lake outside. We had a food allergy in the group and chef was more than accommodating by preparing a special meal from scratch. Always a bonus when a restaurant will work with you like that. Also, loved our waiter - he had some great recommendations on the entrees for us and he was spot on with the service. Overall, great place. Nice to know you can still get a really nice meal in Austin without breaking the bank....

My birthday dinner. Waiter did okay but kept interrupting by asking if we were going to order wine because he wanted those glasses. It was early on so we weren’t sure. Kept coming trying to get them. We finally gathered up the ones who decided no wine so he could have them. I think it made his day! Overall service was good.

Water was dripping on my son from the ceiling, after we complained they moved us. Another woman sat in the same section and the water dripped on her also. But however her meal was comped and ours wasn't. The manager just apologized and walked off. I have no problem paying my tab but if both customers encountered the same problem shouldn't we both get the same service? I was highly upset about the management

Delicious food! Fried avocados appetizer was a pleasant surprise since I don’t even particularly like avocados; bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin was tender and juicy; and the pecan pie with butter pecan ice cream had a slightly unusual taste but one that was fabulous. The crust was light and flaky and the portion was mighty. This is my fourth time here and I will definitely come again!

We celebrated my UT Master’s graduation at Roaring Fork and really enjoyed it. We were given a corner table with a view of the lake which we loved. (Being in the corner also made it easier fir my 83 year old father to hear our conversation). My husband & father had filets which were cooked to their preference and were tender. My mom and I enjoyed the fish special offering - haddock- which was steak cut and delicious. The chef was kind enough to prepare mine without the sauce and I loved it & the sauteed spinach that it rested on. My daughter and her husband enjoyed fish tacos - Mahi-mahi - so we all over our entree choices. For sides, we had mashed potatoes and green Chile Mac and cheese. Both were good, but we fought over the mac n cheese! If that wasn’t enough, the berry cobbler with Amy’s Mexican vanilla ice cream was outstanding! All of us voted for that as best - we’ll be back for that alone! Enjoyable evening!!
Free parking & pretty view. Wine list was small but nice
