Our waiter was terrible. Forgot our drinks, came only once to check on us, never offered to get more drinks, dessert etc, had to get another waiter to bring check after waiting forever. Card was run and we didn’t get sign out for another 5 minutes. It was really loud but we were in the bar. Also the temperature was unreasonably cold.

I'd never dined here before so I felt like I was taking a chance. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the steak was cooked to perfection. The best part was our waiter, William. I told him upfront that we were three small eaters and didn't want to get too much food. He suggested we split the steak, salad and side. It was plenty of food. We loved this restaurant and will dine here every time we visit Austin. It has a beautiful view of the lake, the food, wine, service and ambiance of the restaurant were excellent. I highly recommend this place!

Roaring Fork is our go to place. Great setting, great staff and a super fun place to be, whether it is for a leisurely celebratory dinner or a quick burg. Simply the best spot in Austin.

First time here, we really liked the ambiance and setup of the restaurant with an openness in both the dining room and lounge areas. I suspect even with a lot of patrons the place won’t seem crowded. The outdoor areas looked great, plenty of shade covered the patio to have drinks or even eat; however, as it was still 105 degrees even in the shade so we chose to stay inside. We made lounge reservations for 4:30pm to have enough time to enjoy happy hour with friends. Promptly seated, although expected to be as it was only 4:30 in the afternoon. Lounge area had a few folks so the background noise level was low at first but grew as more people came in. By the time we left at 6:30pm it was quite loud in the lounge area. The service was excellent. Our server Teresa was attentive but not overly so such that we didn’t feel rushed. Kudos to Teresa too as she was engaging, making us feel welcomed and appreciated. Because we were there for happy hour we stayed on the designated happy hour menu. The drinks and food were excellent! Both the drinks and food came quickly once we ordered them (another indicator of great service). All of us thought we received high value for the price we paid. We will definitely will be coming back.

Unfortunately the bar was very slow with drink orders tonight. Our server forgot our order of green chili mac and cheese. The service just wasn’t on par with the experience we have had here in the past.

One of our favorite restaurants in Austin...the green chili pork kettle is spicy but an absolute must. Sign up for their frequent diner program and you'll get notice of holiday specials...it's a great time to try out some of their steak options.

I absolutely love the dining room booth experience with a view of the beautiful deck and quarry. It feels very Zen. A perfect location on a Thursday night to unwind with girlfriends and look forward to a weekend. I am not a wine enthusiast, but one of my friend’s is. She was thrilled with the wine selection and the half off bottles under $100 on Thursday nights. She asked why we hadn’t been doing this all along every Thursday!!! We are huge RF fans!

We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. There was a birthday card waiting at our table and he got a complimentary dessert that had Happy Birthday written in chocolate sauce around the plate that were such thoughtful touches. We had the fillet and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. This is our second time here and is a new favorite!

Food was cold, service was very slow (waited 20 min for first glass of wine) and very loud child with his headphones on screaming the whole meal. Called the manager after and all he did was say sorry.
