I've been going here for years! Food is always consistently good. There specials are always solid.
Food was great, our server, Summer was awesome and it was a great atmosphere for our casual business dinner!!
First time guest, early in the evening. I had the prime rib and it was excellent!
The hostess was rude when we arrived. The Ahi Tuna was substandard. The waitress was great.
We love Roaring Fork. Was the perfect place to celebrate Father's Day. Always amazing food and service.
We were there to celebrate a retirement and had Cliff as our server. Amazing server and amazing food!! Great night. The trout is to die for..as were the mushrooms! Will be back!!
I wife and I had a marvelous overall experience and would recommend it highly and will definitely eat there again if we have the chance.
Great food. A diner in our party has severe food allergies to milk, egg, peanuts and tree nuts. The restaurant was more than accommodating, our diner had safe grilled fish tacos and they were delicious. Highly recommend.
Overall great but temperature fluctuated greatly
Seating in bar was cramped and noisy. Not up to roaring fork standards.
Server was amazing
Incredible rib-eye steak, but so-so pork chop, with outstanding greenchile MAC and kettle of pork verde. Our server was very nice and always right on time. A little loud where we sat, but overall good ambience.
Honestly for bringing in a party of 12 I get that there may be some delay but it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a while and I eat out at least seven times a week. It took over an hour to get our food. Someone actually went to 7-Eleven to get a snack. Two of the people in our party did not have their food cooked to order and the waiter basically shrugged it off. Just awful.
I expect better from you rolling Fork if you want to look at my dining history you will see that I’ve come in many times. I’m not sure I will ever come back now
We went to the Roaring Fork to celebrate a friends engagement. When the waiter asked why we were there we explained. At the end of the night the waiter brought out a cheesecake that said congrats on it which we all thought was extremely nice considering we never asked for it. When we received the bill, it turns out the waiter charged us for the dessert. Its not about the cost of dessert that is upsetting its the fact that never did we order or request a cheesecake to celebrate the waiter did that on his own and then he proceeded to charge us for it. Needless to say we paid for the cheesecake but that experience really put a bad taste in our mouths and not sure anyone in our party will be be dining here again.
Service was outstanding. Food was divine. Atmosphere was intimate but not boujee.
Great ambience! My dinner was amazing and the desserts were to die for. Great experience all together!
As usual, the place was great. I shared some exciting news with my family, and our server was attentive and offered a little treat in honor of the celebration. Food is reliably good; service is great.
Great food with reasonable prices. Service was quick and friendly. Even though my server Andrew had a large party of rowdy bachelor party guys. He was on point with all his recommendations and made plenty of time for us. Andrew was a great server. If you find yourself at the roaring fork ask for him. Drink we’re very tasty as well.
Roaring Fork is my pre paramount theater show go to restaurant! Service is great, the food is always consistent and great as well. I go at least a couple times a month and have favorite steak selection but always am tempted by the men.
Would recommend finding another establishment. My blackened snapper was burned instead of blackened. My wife's fish tacos were burned but were also cold. I'm not sure how the were able to do both. Overpriced and underdelevired. Don't believe the hype.
Awesome dinner and atmosphere for our 5th Anniversary
Food only okay. Queso very thin, medium hamburger raw in the middle
Great service and good and a complimentary birthday dessert!
Always very good food and service at the Roaring fork. Very consistent--Always good!
got very good care....glad we made a reservation ahead of time...it was a busy night and the food and service was great.
Love this downtown location. Great value. Thank you for honoring our request for a quiet table for four. The Waldorf salad is the best in town!
We had an early Sunday dinner (5:30) after movies at The Paramount Theatre. Our server Tom was attentive without being overbearing, and took good care of us. Meals were good, ranging from a hamburger and carnitas to filet mignon.
Great service. Lamb lollipop appetizer was amazing and the entrees did not disappoint. Generous servings and a terrific wine list. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
Great food and service. Not just your typical steakhouse.
It was a very busy night, but the food was amazing and a really nice place for our graduation celebration!!!
My wife and I enjoyed celebrating our 3rd anniversary here a few days ago. I think the portions are generous and the drinks are prepared well. I also thought the level of service was outstanding and it was a great looking restaurant. It's fun to be downtown, and to walk upstairs the hotel and stand on the old style balcony.
Having said all that, it was definitely a solid 4 but didn't have the indescribable quality needed to be 5 / outstanding. I would definitely go back and I'm certainly glad we celebrated there.
The service was excellent. The appetizers were fantastic. The salmon was totally bland and the asparagus was over cooked. I would probably go back after trying some of the other spots in Austin.
A nice, no drama dinner for a biz trip to Austin. Server was friendly and the food was tasty.
I selected Roaring Fork based on the reviews and I was not disappointed at all.
We had tickets for a show next door at 8p
We ordered and had a wonderful server named Talkie and he took excellent care of us made perfect recommendations and had us out the door in about an hour and the place was packed..
Went out for a friends birthday. We were sat immediately and the wine recommendations was perfect. Overall great experience!
Nice atmosphere and good ambience. The service was attentive and the food was good.
Staff was nice and considerate. Speed of service was also fine. Atmosphere was great, very cool longhorn on wall. Biggest and main problem was food. I wanted the ribeye but they were out which is understandable and I am very willing to look past. I ordered the 16 oz Prime Rib which was quite undercooked. I requested it Medium Rare but it came out extremely bloody and pink everywhere instead of just an inside layer. For $39 I expected a steak that was far superior to what i could make by myself but was mistaken. It was not impressive in any way and was a very mediocre steak. Seasoned not very well and no sort of presentation. Also with no sides coming with steak it was just a large underwhelming piece of undercooked meat. Not my favorite steakhouse but my girlfriend enjoyed her salmon at least.
Food & drinks were wonderful.
Denying happy hour drinks, although we started at 5:30pm, was a very strange & just wrong.
Service was perfect
Seating and ambiance perfect
Hadn't been on a nice quiet dinner date in a while and it was the perfect first choice
Stupendous atmosphere the minute you walk in he door- friendly attentive staff
Mussels with chorizo are a must try! Have never had this combination before and would order it again in a second.
