The experience was fabulous. A big Thank you to our server Suzanne Roberts she knew the menu inside out and help with selections. We came for the bone marrow and it did not disappoint. Great service, delicious food, interesting ambiance, great lighting.

The restaurant is closing as of 10/7, and this was the last "special/guest chef" nights featurning a menu by Adam Sobel, the chef who got RN74 its highest ever review in 2014. The food, presentation and ambiance were exceptional. The culinary highlight was Frogs Legs a la Troisgros, which Adam told me, was a replica of what he ate in 2004 at Troisgros in Roanne, France. Exceptional taste, superb mix of spices: shallots, lemon, toasted cumin, and wonderful almost miniature frog's legs. It was a great way for a good restaurant, with great wine combinations, to go out on top.
Great value for high end food! Too bad they’re replacing this wonderful French bistro with a barbeque eatery.
I've lived in the Bay Area for 7 years now and am ashamed to say that last night was my first time there, despite walking by it daily for the last two years en route to work. I'm ashamed because the filet I had ranked among the top 3 of my life - perfectly cooked and melting in my mouth - and the au poivre style is NOT to be missed. Pricy but worth it; ambiance great too. Get here.
There were 4 of us dining at the that day. 2 of us used gift vouchers from Travel Zoo and other 2 ordered from the menu.
Voucher food was not worth the money, well, desert was actually good. Appetizer were actually very good, salad was sour and I cannot find another word to describe it. We ordered 3 different main dishes (2 PAN-ROASTED MARY’S POULET, HERB-STEAMED HALIBUT and GARDEN VEGETABLE RATATOU ILLE TARTE. None of them was worth the money.
Service and food presentation were excelled.
The restaurant is closing so it is a moot point to review. Will miss it. On my last visit, had to wait 40 minutes for our entree. During the lunch hour, so it wasn't a good experience.
