Celebrated Mother’s day with a mediocre brunch. We were not impressed.
Mothers Day Buffet was very good and the music was very good.
Loved the ambiance and decor. We could visit but still loved the cool play list in the background. Great food. Will come back for sure. We were most bummed that we had not been in prior as we’ve all lived in area for 20 yrs.
The food and drinks were excellent. Vinnie our waiter was extremely nice and the chef Shawn came by the table and spoke to us about Kentucky, bourbon and the derby. The experience very enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

With so many options in the area unfortunately this one doesn't compare. The service was outstanding but the food was just OK. When you pay that much for a steak you don't expect it to be overcooked nad unfortunately this was the case.
True French cuisine in Seattle! Some of our very favorite dishes served with elan and care. It was a joint birthday and they gave us a hand-written card and a festive dessert complete with candles. Delicious food and great service.
A very nice meal. Good food, nice service and a nice place for a meal before a concert. Not inexpensive but I don't mind paying a lot when the food and service is good.

This is by far one of the best restaurants we have been to. Everything was a class act. The food was amazing. Yet another great Seattle Restaurant Week find. We shall return.
Ended up at RN74 for Restaurant Week. And they were packed, as usual, but I think more so because of the 3 course prix fixe menu at $ 35.00. What a deal ! Our server, Nicole, was wonderful at explaining the food dishes and wines by the glass. My wife started with a Salad Lyonnaise which could have been her dinner on any other night. It was huge, with big chunks of lardons. YUM ! I opted for the Beef tartar... Excellent !!! And ate half of her salad to help digest that beef. She had a very flavorful Special Steak ( with a slight supplement charge ) and I had a very different, but tasty Coq au Vin. Different because it was dry, not in a juicy wine broth. Both were excellent, and so large that we brought some home for lunch the next day. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Jeff, the Somm, who picked out a wonderful Washington Rhone Blend to compliment both dishes. Merci Jeff ! Desserts were killer too: Profiteroles and some decadent Chocolate Cream Mousse that we actually dipped the Profiteroles into. WOW ! What a dining experience ! We are going back next month to try some new dishes. Cheers !
Although we arrived early, we were seated at our table almost immediately. Even with the restaurant week limited menu selections were amazing. We started with the smoked potato soup which was tres bien.
For the second course I had the coq au vin, and my husband had the rockfish with spring Cassoulet. The sauce on the Coq au vin was a magnificent blend of smoky and mushroom flavors with chickpeas and pearl onions.
For the dessert course I had the chocolate creme and my husband had the warm beignets with salted caramel sauce.
The service along with the food was excellent. I would give them five stars and it is a definite do again!

The truffle Camembert appetizer is truly outstanding as is the beignets for dessert. My “coq au vin” had no vin and was rather dry. Unusual for RN74.
the food and service were excellent. We went on Dine Out Seattle and the options were great. Our server asked us if we had an event to go to so she could make sure we were out of there on time. Everything we experienced was great

Everyone was so attentive. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They all worked together and any member of the staff that came by our table asked if we needed anything or how our experience was. The food was superb!! Will definitely be back.

Food was fine but I had to leave before dessert (which came with the Seattle Restaurant Week) because the kitchen and service was so slow that I would have missed my show (I had been there for 1.25 hours). Too many great restaurants with good service in Seattle. Don't need to come back.
This restaurant used to be one of my favorites. I hear that there is a new chef and sadly this has affected the quality of their classic bouillabaisse, which is not only inferior in taste and presentation from its former version but also the value has gone way down because the portion of halibut within the dish is much smaller. They are also shelling the mussels, rather than presenting them in their beautiful shells, so the dish is just not that well-presented. Nice wine selection, though in spite of the fact that It took 20 minutes to get our first glass.
We enjoyed our dinner here. Our waiter was a little snobby but the food was really good and the ambiance was fun. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
We've been to RN74 several times, and it's always been fantastic. This past Saturday, we had the tasting menu and it was perfect. My favorite was the halibut served with a super fresh pea puree, but every course was excellent. We will be back.
Classic elegance. World-class service, an intentional and well curated wine list and approachable, simple but outstanding food.
Food was expertly prepared, meat was tender and flavorful, chicken melted in my mouth. The polenta was perfect both in flavor and texture. We loved the brussel sprouts. Can't wait to get back there!
There were some exceptional items, some average and one miss. I'll start with the miss - the dessert - a chocolate mousse - bitter, with tart sauces, and streusel which basically crumbled-up cookie, so nothing to write home about. All in all it didn't add up as a dessert for us. Now, the average - the pork chop was quite nice - grilled medium rare - but nothing special. Now the excellent - the soup - or in this case, "veloute" - was fantastic in taste, appearance and presentation. The polenta was also outstanding - coarse-ground, but easily chewable, with excellent flavor. The baguette with cheese was utterly delicious and the bread grilled to perfection. Finally, the beef tartare was also excellent, with perfect seasonings - we ignored the hard croutons it came with and use the abundant bread-basket offering instead. The service was very good as well, and helpful (such as in quickly remedying the missing streusel situation). All in all it was a wonderful dining experience, even if not 100% perfection. The "hits" were worth going back for.

Absolutely wonderful! It was our 25th anniversary and they made very special from the food to the service we were very pleased. We would recommend this to all.
The food was pretty amazing. I mean, how bad could frites fried in duck fat BE? We went for my husband's birthday and not only did they have a card for him on the table but a delicious dessert at the end of the meal. The service was attentive but not hovering. We were 30 min. late for our reservation and the hostess actually called to make sure we were still coming. Very nice! I would highly recommend RN74, as long as money is not really an issue.
Very attentive staff, flavorful, excellent preparation of food. Extensive wine and friendly wine steward, not pretentious.
Served very timely before a show. Would recommend and go back again.

I am very grateful for the professionalism and grace the RN74 team brought to making dinner for my 8-year-old son’s birthday so special. Paul, Jeff, Chef, and the whole team were spectacular and went out of their way to welcome us. Chef brought out dishes himself, Paul’s wine service was educational and exciting, and everyone in the restaurant seemed to know it was my son’s birthday — all this after I’d noted the occasion via OpenTable less than an hour before our table! I am so impressed by the service and quality at RN74. I will also say that every dish was perfectly executed and that I am now a devotee if Domaine de Montille (to the extent my pocketbook will allow it). Bravo and thank you. Andy Comer
They specifically asked what time we had to leave for a show, but we still had to hunt down our server with a credit card to leave at that time.
My wife and I were meeting with new friends and we wanted a place with great food, that was really comfortable and had an interesting décor to encourage conversation. RN74 was perfect! Everything was perfect and we had a great time!

Overall it was a great dining experience. Food was great (beef tar tar, endive salad, PN Seafood Boullanese which had scallops that were the best I ever had, no exaggeration) The lamb dish was mediocre. The desert we ordered was a disappointment for this place. Meringe Pavlova which was hard as rock literally. When you stab your fork into it the piece flew off the dish. I will end on + note by saying, if you are a wine enthusiast, you must visit this place. They have their own Sommelier on staff which takes drinking wine to the highest level!
Great place for a date night. Nice dark lighting. Good food that is approachably French.
