Bill everything is always great!
Mondays are only nights we go - otherwise wine pricing terrible. 1/2 priced wines are a wonderful offering - instead of the miniscule pour by the glass. Food is generally good. My eggplant parm was terrible - and can't figure out why it is served with spaghetti.
Great food every time!
It was my husband’s birthday and I asked in our reservation if they could do something for him (like a song or a dessert). I also asked the waiter when we got there. They did nothing at all because we didn’t order dessert. So much for asking in advance and them assuming we no longer wanted to do anything.
Pappardelle bolognese was very good which is my number one favorite there. Chicken parm was a large piece but kind of tuff. Asked to share a small salad with my wife , but was given large salad to share and was charged for it-was too much salad for 2. Service was so /so. My coffee when it arrived, the cup was ice cold , so that the coffee was luke warm. We had to ask for cheese when our food arrived. Overall ok, but should be better. It is ok, but no great desire to go back.
Celebrated our daughter's birthday and had a wonderful time. Service and food were very good and not noisy at all as it was Super Bowl Sunday so regulars may have been home watching the game. We were here also for Father's Day last year and were glad to return. We will be back again and recommend this restaurant to all.
It was nice. Good vibe. Cocktails were well done and the food and service were great! Will be back.
Everything about this place was incredible! All six of us just about licked our plates. Our server was friendly and on point with everything! Can not wait to eat at Rizzuto’s again!
Food always good and plentiful. Monday is the only day I go because $60 bottles of wine and less are 1/2 price. Ordering wine by the glass brings you wine with the poorest pour in the restaurant business.
Manager or personnel never at front desk. Waited 10 minutes for someone to seat me, and just seated myself. Observed same thing for other guests all night.
The food is always good and Rizutto's is fun. I love sharing pizzas and salads at the bar, and the oysters were very good.
We had a wonderful meal of Surf and Turf, it was delicious, the steak melted in your mouth was cooked perfectly..it was a wonderful New Year's Eve meal, as always.
Always a go to restaurant......comfortable seating especially with grandkids easy parking good service
Great dinner for Christmas eve with my date. I had nice big shrimp in the shrimp cocktail, great little green salad, delicious steamed mussels. My date had the feast of the 7 fishes frutti di mare salad (a Christmas eve special) and the roast chicken. Both were excellent. Nice wine list. We were seated by the fireplace which was lovely. It's a lively restaurant, not too intimate, not too big and noisy. I would definitely go back and recommend to others. The service was very pleasant and perfectly attentive.
Went for dinner Xmas eve with 3 generations. Always something for everyone on the menu (miss the sausage broccoli rabe pasta though). Great waitress, lovely holiday decorations.
We enjoyed a great brunch at Rizzuto's on Sunday. The breakfast pizza is delicious! And there are many other breakfast and lunch choices, so everyone is sure to find something they like. Service was attentive and friendly and the "icing on the cake" was a fun visit by Santa!
Do NOT order any egg dishes at brunch. Every single one came out burnt.
Had another great dinner, food was so delicious, staff was great and the Holiday Decorations were so beautiful, felt so warm and homey, great job..
Nice local restaurant. Something for everyone. Good vibe nice crowd. Food is average but works. Nice bar scene.
We were there for Birthday celebration and the food was excellent. the staff was very attentive, great meal.
We went for an early dinner at 5:30 PM before going to a play. The empty dining room filled up and unfortunately our table was next to a table of not very well supervised kids making a lot of noise. The $20 prefix menu was excellent value. Entrees came out too fast from the kitchen, before soup and salads and we asked that our seafood and pasta dishes be remade verses sit under the heat lights for 20 minutes. Our server was nice but, not attentive. As more tables came in he had trouble checking back with us. Too fast and too slow is what I remember. Rizzuto's is hit and miss. We have had some great meals there even though it is not a great place. It does not make our favorites list but we will try it again.
great food, great staff, we enjoy eating at this restaurant
Bill the owner came by. Been going there for years 1st time I meet him. Great guy! Never had a bad meal there! Bill keep up the great work! Steve
Good family meal. We sat near the entrance and bar - would have been nicer maybe to sit near the main area and fire but we were told that seating was reserved. Good choices for adults and kids and food seemed pretty good.
Our server, Alexandria, was outstanding ... Very professional, personable and attentive!
Went with my mom, dad and aunt. It was a busy Saturday night. We had 7:30 reservations and were seated immediately. We ordered drinks and a dozen local Blue Point oysters from Norwalk/Westport and they were delicious. I ordered linguine with clams. My mom had the Connecticut lobster roll, which was served warm on a buttered toasted roll. She loved it. My aunt had eggplant parmesan. My dad ordered the appetizer of mussels. The seafood was fresh and all of the food was delicious. I tried the eggplant and it was crispy and tasty. The only complaint was the bread that was served was not fresh which is a sin in an Italian restaurant. The owner came over to the table to greet us after our meal, and he was a great guy, very personable, so we all left with smiles on our faces. Definitely recommend Rizzuto's.
Great place. Terrific waiter. Excellent food. The bread placed on the table at the start was great. And that set the tone for the rest of the meal.
Really like this restaurant. Would be here 4x as much as I visit now - but wine pour is embarrassing, and wine mark-ups are huge.
This was the second time we were there in a month. Incredibly disappointing this time and last. I ordered a Caesar salad which had zero taste, a pizza that was so spicy and terrible tasting that I didn't eat it. I broke out in a rash on my neck and my son's wedding is this Saturday!
Great for business lunches. Seating well spaced between tables. Always excellent service
Excellent food and atmosphere! I was able to get a reservation when I wanted it.
Delicious food, great staff, comfortable atmosphere..
I have been here a few times, this time on early dinner on Thursday about 6pm! The parking lot was full, not one spot, I thought to myself they must be having a party and have closed the restaurant (but I had a reservation)? So I did get a spot as someone pulled out walked into the restaurant and it was empty!! Note to owners if you can keep your parking open to "your customers" I will never come agian
My husband and I came in for our anniversary. Everyone was very cordial and Angel our server was just great...loved him! He is knowledgeable and very personable. We had a nice bottle of wine and for appetizers, the calamari, fried oysters and clams....all were delicious! For my main entrée I had the cavatelli with pesto sauce and shrimp. It was very tasty as were my husbands crab cakes. We finished off splitting a chocolate truffle filled 'ring ding' with grenache and a cappacino... yummy! The only thing I think that I don't like about Rizzutos is the ambiance of the dining room. Yes, they have a lovely fireplace, which is nice but, we've been there a couple of times now and I was trying to figure out what it was that I didn't care for. And its that BIG window that looks right into the kitchen. It tends to make the dining room cold. Maybe they could soften the feel with some big plants or trees in front of it. Who wants to be dining and looking into a big stainless steel kitchen! Otherwise.....its a great place and a wonderful bar!
A very pleasant dining experience. The price fixed menu is a great bargain.
Very good for children and seafood. Great lobster rolls.
Good food and atmosphere
There are few places we enjoy more dining outdoors than Rizzuto's Westport. A great place on a summer evening to nosh on the meat and cheese plate accompanied by a cold white wine! The staff were very helpful in answering our questions. Love it.
As always food was great, staff was wonderful. this restaurant never disappoints..
Salads excellent, Burger ordered medium came well-done. Tables far enough apart to be easy for business conversations.
Wine list significantly over-priced. I am in the business and the mark-ups are huge. Need greater selection at mid-priced range.
