Rivershore Bar & Grill
As is usually the food and the service is very good with the exception that at the reception was told they didn't have my reservation even though I had a confirmation from OpenTable both from the immediate notice when made and an email. Was told by the receptionist that they could probably still seat me. Reservation for one!!! Have not had this problem before.
Table for 9 not ready yet place wAs near empty. Asked for separate checks and waitress took out orders in groups of 2 yet messed up the tickets. Clam chowder was really thin liquid rather then creamy base. One order was missed by the cook and our friend began eating 10 min after everyone else. One drink did not come out and waitress had to say sorry the bartender is really busy. Always had a good experience when it was just the 2 of us. Will not go again as a larger group. Place is unorganized
The service and food were excellent! The view overlooking the river was a plus!! We sat on the deck and had a very good meal. My husband had the Fish and Chips and I had the Pork Chop. Both were cooked to perfection and served with a very nice presentation. The server was pleasant, cordial and knowledgeable about the menu. Great place to have a wonderful summer dinner.
Good food, service is super slow; but patience is a virtue, right?
We enjoyed eating here. It was our first time. The deck is very nice, but it's noisy outside, being very near 2 highways
The view of the river is lovely. The food was good, but the fish and chips, cod, was overcooked, and the battery was thick and quite greasy. The fries and coleslaw were great. One person had surf and turf and said it was excellent. The people were great.
Rivershore needs an update of menu and overall approach. Quite outdated.
Ate outside enjoying river view
The baby back ribs were very tough. Rack of lamb looked good, but was overdone. the manager immediately removed the ribs from the bill, and I've had better food here before, so I'll be back.
Food tasted great and the waiit staff kept checking on us. It was a nice day to sit outside and enjoy the river view.
Neat restaurant with a nice river view wasn't very busy when we went but our waitress must have been busy helping a large group that was there is my only guess only saw her 3 times the manager came by and took our plates and refilled my water. Food was good but price was higher then I expected
I hope it was an off night, but it missed on all accounts.
Delish!!! Here on vacation. Great stop to eat, and enjoy the Willamette River.
Food was cold and tasteless. Service - not so good. We waited a long time to get our food. When it arrived it was cold. When I sent it back, half was hot but the potatoes where still cold. The vegetables were watery and everything was really tasteless. It was nice to look at the river but that’s the only positive we experienced.
I love the view of the river, but it always takes forever to get your food. They were out of several items and everyone at the table was almost finished with their food by the time I got my plate. The server told me the kitchen messed up my order and it would be a few minutes until I got my plate when she dropped off everyone else's. About five minutes later she came back and said they messed it up again and it would be a bit more time. Tasted good when I got it though.
Unfortunately, my family and I went here for Father's Day yesterday. The reservation started off with a rude host who seemed put out of his way that we showed up and had to be sat (again.. had a reservation). There were plenty of tables, so not sure what the attitude was about. We asked to be sat outside, he wasn't even able to say "right this way", he took us to a table outside, set the menus down in a pile and walked away with no further communication (IE.. enjoy your meal, your server will be right with you...)
After about 5 minutes, a lady dropped off waters. Wasn't our server.
A short time after that, our server came by. She was very nice and a pleasure. Wish I remembered her name.
CONS: My water glass did go empty for most of my meal. When our food came out, the 3 women at the table got their food, while the 2 men (Father's) did not. Us women were about halfway done with our meal before they even got their food. For it to then come out wrong. The eggs were not even cooked on one plate (the whites were runny still...). The other Father ordered the brunch chicken fried steak, down to the type of eggs he wanted... and his came out without eggs and instead a side of half cooked veggies and french fries???
My omelet was less than ideal, but not the worst thing I've ever had. The mimosas were a complete rip-off. Wish I had seen the price before I ordered.
Less than ideal experience here.
The main attraction is the view. The menu is limited but adequate. If I had one recommendation for Rivershore Bar & Grill it would be to change their chairs. They are SO LOUD when moved across the wood floor and the acoustics there are not helping. The wait staff is fine but they were very busy and food took a very long time to come out. We'll probably be back since there aren't many other choices in the area.
Broad based menu. Service was ok but nothing to brag about. The food items we had were uninspired, lacked imagination. Dessert display plate looked like it had been sitting there all week and was unappetizing, little variety, just cake. We won’t be going back.
It took a little while until our server took our order, but the food and the ambiance eating on the deck was very nice.
We used to go to the rivershore on A regular basis.....When the quality Tom A downturn we stopped going. A while back we decided to try again and found the experience outstanding....Went again recently and found the experience the same.....Would highly recomemdmthis place..
Service was long and they forgot to bring our appetizers
Have never been to this part of town before but saw great reviews online so booked a reservation.
Family was in town visiting from out of state and we all went here for dinner. It was delicious! I was a little hesitant to order the steak special because I figured it wouldn’t be as good of quality given it was a 3 course special and such a low price. I was wrong! The seasoning was GREAT the cut of meat was tender and the veggies were delicious as well! I’d make the drive to come back here!
Great place to eat with a great view. Good food and good value.
Reserved a seat for mothers day dinner the website claimed it was the buffet when I got there it was just a regular table I all so believe I was double changed am currently checking my account to verify
Lovely out door seating, but it was buffet/shortened menu for Mother’s Day. Will probably go back again on a non holiday. Very lovely and polite wait staff, although they were a bit frantic, probably just due to the holiday.
Made a reservation for 5 for specifically inside restaurant had a confirmation number...when we arrived no table had been saved...sat us outside...service was horrible...no water or coffee refilled during meal...but after meal came by twice...ordered desert...took 15min...to bring a piece of cake....never again..
Great view! Helpful waitress! Good food and value!
Olivia took really good care of us had our drinks out there on the deck in the sunshine it was a wonderful experience had an ahi salad for the first time and it was delicious
Nice view of the water. Wonderful signature drink at reasonable price. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Very loud and cold air blowing accross our table made the experience less than perfect. We complained, and the table next to us complained about the cold air but they wouldn't do anything about it.
MADE RESERVATIONS, WAS A BEAUTIFUL VIEW, SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, FOOD WAS VERY GOOD. WAS ON EASTER DAY. WILL GO AGAIN
Excellent food, service and view of the Willamette River
Great food, service and overall good time
Will go again soon
Arrived only to be told that this reservation app is not effective and most times doesn't actually save reservations made. I asked them if that's the case, why don't they remove themselves from this reservation page. The guy working was basically going to let us walk out. After pushing the matter and asking to speak with a manager, they were finally able to find a spot for us. By then, I was so disappointed, we ended up leaving. Not a great experience.
Friendly staff, wonderful food, and quiet atmosphere with a nice view of the river.
Excellent food and prompt service. We went with a party of 6 right at 5:30pm on a week night and there were only about 4 tables occupied in the whole restaurant. The view was beautiful, overlooking the river. I had the black and blue entree salad - a good balance of toppings.
We dine there often. It has a beautiful, relaxing view of the Willamette River and a broad menu that has something for everyone. Our most recent visit was on Monday night, steak night. Sixteen dollars for a full course steak dinner in a classy restaurant is hard to beat. It's a great place to take friends. I highly recommend it.
We had a party of 8....and sad to say we were a little noisy (we are Italian) next time we will as to sit in the corner. We all agreed it was a good restaurant.
We had such a fantastic dinner! If I had to say one thing it would be the server didn't know what was in the mixed veggies coming with one of the meals. We had someone with us who was alergic to green beans. So it would be good if they knew that in the future. Otherwise very nice experience!
We got together to honor my daughter who passed away in March 2018. My daughter loved the Rivershore and we went often. We really enjoyed the Thanksgiving Buffet in 2017. We had a table for 10 and were served quickly and kindly by Olivia who knew why we were there. We cannot thank the Manager, cooks and servers enough for how the dinner went. It was a good place for us to share our grief and remember the good times when Beth was with us. A great view, excellent food and quiet. Thanks so much!
This restaurant has a lovely view of the river and the service was wonderful but the food was average. I doubt if I'll go back again.
The food is very very good and we enjoyed our meal very much. The space would benefit from some sort of noise/sound absorbing elements that would improve the quality of the environment. Even with only a few people in the restaurant it can get loud due to all of the hard surfaces.
