Great. Will come back.
Riverpark made every effort to make our anniversary special! We had a lovely night and will be back.
Beautiful room, great views, attentive service. The food was very good (but not amazing), avoid the pesto pasta dish (no flavor). Nice desserts and not big, the perfect ending to a lovely night.
Walking to the restaurant through the lobby of Alexandria Center prepares you for a better evening than just another one. Entering the dining hall, with it's dimmed lights, high ceilings and spacious seating areas drives the anticipation up another notch. I had requested a table by the window so that my Parisian guests could enjoy the view... and enjoy they did. The waiter was pleasantly patient when we made him come back later, twice. We had a lot of catching up to do, delaying our choice of food. Then came the meal. Refined tastes like an after-thought lingering on your palate. The wine, I am partial to Argentine Malbec. The dessert, sinful. The whole thing washed down with a double espresso... We had a quick look at the view from the open terrace, and a breath of fresh air before going downstairs to the underground garage. An evening well spent.
We very much enjoyed our brunch there. Food and drinks were spot on.
Riverpark has great food, excellent service and is excellent for a business lunch
Wonderful food and ambience + waterfront views! Went for an anniversary dinner and they did not disappoint. They even made a customized menu for our occasion! Highly recommended.
Service was amazing. Food was OK but presentation and creativity was lacking. The view is ok on a 45degree angle but not the front and was blocked by a column. But the service was great and special touches by the staff made it memorable
We have now tried Riverpark 3 times recently, hoping each time it will get better. BUT, it does not. While the food is very good, the service is terrible. The staff is inconsistent, the wait times for drinks is long and they never seems to know what they should be doing. At first, we thought it may have been an off night, but after 3 tries, we are done. I would expect a lot better service from a Tom Colichio restaurant. I don’t think he goes there much, otherwise he would experience first hand the lack of training his staff has.
Awesome meal, great views, loved the entire experience.
Outstanding restaurant. Great food and views. Right on the water.
Food was ok. We were a group of 7 people . My lamb was very good. Duck was missing salt and the wild rice wasn’t cook at all, it was impossible to eat. The veggies pasta was unseasoned . Also the appetizer with tomatoes had the same problem with the rice . We won’t come back.
Appetizers and desserts were amazing. My entree was scallops and the dish was lackluster. My tablemates ate the gnocchi and the lamb. Much better choices!
Good service. Quality food with originality. Outdoor seating could be nice , but right next to FDR highway, so we ate inside.
Food and service was outstanding as usual
Pork Belly starter was delicious as were the Scallops
Excellent as always
a truly enjoyable evening
will come again soon
Riverpark is becoming a sure thing for a quality meal, without breaking the bank. We had an awesome red wine, too. Service could have been a little sharper. I personally don't dig the ambience of Riverpark (my husband likes it), which wasn't helped by the table of three business bro's sat nearest us. But the tables are far apart enough in Riverpark that you don't feel oppressed even when your neighbors are objectionable donkeys. Food was fabulous: branzino with octopus was generous; pork belly appetizer was delicious on a sort of ragu; the duck was nicely cooked; and the cheese plate was (as always) well done. Consistently very good, Riverpark lacks (for me) that little sprinkle of special that would make it excellent.
Always delicious, service is excellent and view of the east river is glorious.
Excellent food, farm to table and very reasonable for NY restaurant prices.
Made my birthday very special.
It was our 25th wedding anniversary and they made it so special Had menus with our name and congratulations on our anniversary and gave complimentary dessert which was so nice. It was really good food and service! Would highly recommend
Everything was great but a waiter who came by to fill our water glass didn't realize we had a blue bottle of sparkling water on the table. I had to remind and point the bottle to him but he already was able to fill one glass and did't say anything. It really was an accidental mistake but when your paying this amount of money you expect common sense service on refilling water.
We were celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday & the end of our NYC visit and everyone at Riverpark made the experience special. First there was the menu with birthday wishes, then the perfect lunch. We started with the burratini with grilled peaches. Next the lobster roll for my Sis & branzino for me. Both entrees were great and I particularly loved the sauce with the perfectly cooked fish. I found the panna cotta delicious. I should also mention the good wine choices. Thanks to everyone at Riverpark for making it so special.
Lovely restaurant. Gorgeous view. Outstanding service!
We were three for lunch. Shared two starters, each had a main course and we shared dessert with cappuccino for all. Our meals were prepared to perfection and presentation was imaginative and very beautiful. Portion size worked for us and the food was delicious.
The entire service staff should be highly commended. Each person was pleasant and obviously skilled at their tasks. As special thank you to our beyond wonderful waiter who seamlessly provided a superior dining experience and a terrific Birthday celebration for us. Treat yourself soon to this fine dining experience.
Very nicely appointed restaurant with outdoor dining and quiet attractive indoor space . Innovative and eclectic dishes with unusual mixed ingredients. my friends had the ribeye steak and octopus while I had the lamb ossoBuco. All were excellent. The salad choices were also quite unique. The basil ice cream was new to my palate and quite refreshing served with red currants It was really excellent conclusion to a wonderful meal.
Quiet, with good food and good service. Always dependable, and the menu changes so its never boring.
The birthday celebration for Meaghann was wonderful. She enjoyed it so much. Food, staff, ambiance - all terrific.
Lovely restaurant. Great food, drinks, views. Exquisite menu. Have enjoyed two fabulous brunches. Have many more friends I would like to take to Riverpark to enjoy the experience. Great place.
In general everything was fine. We had to wait to long before someone came to take our order but after that service improved considerably.
The room was noise than we ever remember it. This was due in part to a singer. She was very good but we did not need the entertainment. soft music would have been more than adequate.
The rod was inventive and very good to excellent.
Loved the jazz music.
Perfect place to celebrate a birthday. Everything on the menu was fantastic and the service was attentive without being too much.
From start to finish this was a top notch experience! The Restaurant Week menu was extensive and my dinner companions and I thoroughly enjoyed all of our choices, the portions were ample without being overwhelming and the flavour combinations were delicious perfection! The Lamb Osso Buco was the best I’ve tasted! The staff were amazing and worked like a well oiled machine it was a pleasure to experience and fascinating to watch. Our table had an expansive view of the East River and watching the daylight turn to night and the lights become brighter enhanced an already wonderful evening. One last thing we all remarked on was the acoustics, that for a packed house it remained that we could all hear what was being said in conversation without having to shout. That is a rare pleasure!
Kudos to Tom Colicchio and his staff for providing us such a wonderful evening!
As always, the food was excellent. However, we were very disappointed in that I had reserved on Open Table some weeks ago, and confirmed the day before -- in both instances stipulating "a table in a quieter area next to the wall or window." There were two reasons, one I explained in the online reservation is that I'm hard of hearing. The second, as discussed in the phone conversation, was that two of us were taking a third friend out for her birthday. We had not envisioned the birthday dinner with us sitting at the equivalent of a picnic table on the patio. It changed the whole tone of the evening, and the manager, while sympathetic, did nothing to ameliorate the situation. A courtesy would have been at least a complimentary dessert or drink. This instance will not deter me from returning; I love the place. But the experience serves as a caution to not trust whomever I book with on the phone.
This is an absolute must for NYC Restaurant Week, either Summer or Winter. A lovely restaurant.
This is a high quality restaurant that has never disappointed me the times I have been there. I have been for special occasion dinners and for lunch during Restaurant Week. Unlike some other places, during RW you receive the same high quality service and food. The menu is more limited but there are enough choices to satisfy anyone. Wait staff is knowledgeable about each dish and on the rare occasion they did not know the answer to a question, they quickly found out.
I will definitely return.
I am fortunate enough to eat out often. This is absolutely one of the best and a fav place for me in all of NYC. Food was amazing and service was great. Service was prompt but never rushed which I appreciate.
Wonderful in every way!
Tasty, well prepared food saved in a beautiful setting
