Great overall, quiet for a Monday night
As big fans of Tom Colicchio, we were exited to visit Riverpark. we were disappointed. While the food was excellent, the service was so bad that we had to skip dessert to maintain our sanity.
Once again, another memorable meal...Thanks so much to the GM Cyndra for making us feel so welcome and paying so much attention to us...What a gracious host!....The meal again was superb....We had the branzino and the brisket, both exceptional and the appetizers were also inventively prepared (the carrot tartare and tuna tartare..) Not to mention the sides and dessert and wonderful wine selection.. And again all the staff was incredibly kind and effecient ...
What a wonderful place....Don't miss out on this dining experience (plus the view is incredible)
Great meal great staff, a wonderful experience
Get out of the clogged city life and experience waterfront dining and outdoor space. The food is excellent.
We usually avoid “view” or celeb chef restaurants but decided to give Riverpark a try for anniversary brunch. Beautiful space. Mostly great service although my husband received only one egg with his order. Another mysteriously arrived 10 minutes later. No thanks. My eggs were delicious but the bacon disappointed in taste but certainly not portion size. Hard to believe anyone could eat that much bacon.
Meal ended with a lovely Happy Anniversary plate; nicely done.
Overall it was a good experience and I’d probably bring guests here for the view.
Waiter was very “ruby Tuesday” for the occasion and the level of dining.
Sommelier was phenomenal as was host staff, exquisite extras- again just sad that our waiter literally should have been wearing pins on his suspenders.
I always enjoy dining at Riverpark. The food is delicious, the service attentive, and the ambiance warm and welcoming. Although this was a special occasion, my friends and I always enjoy dining at Riverpark.
this is our granddaughter's favorite restaurant. She has been coming there since she was 1 and has loved it. Although it is a quite restaurant and not for kids running around noisily, they are very welcoming the children who are not disruptive and were so welcoming to us once again. The view is lovely and the whole set up of the restaurant is as well. The food is also very good, esp. for brunch on the weekends.
Pricey no doubt but unusually comfortable for a quality NYC restaurant. Lamb and fish special were superb and pasta dish very tasty. Interesting wine list but don’t expect any bargains. Overall, a very good experience. But for the tab I’d be a regular.
Love this restaurant-- the preparations are interesting and beautiful. And love the special touch of adding birthday guest name to menu. Service is very attentive and helpful. I look forward to warm weather when we can sit outside. The validated parking is an added bonus.
Very accommodating to special dietary requests.
Had a great experience at Riverpark (as usual). They do such a wonderful job in every single aspect. Thanks for a great Easter brunch!
Lovely Easter lunch
We were very impressed with the easter 3 course menu, each meal being creative and extremely tasty! Staff were professional and welcoming and the decor was sophisticated and eye-catching. Excellent experience!
Exquisite... From the moment I stepped in. Staff was attentive and the service was superb... The food was fresh, vibrant and all of the flavors went well together. I had the Branzino which was to die for! My cousin had the Brisket and said it was the best meal of his life.
Food and service were outstanding. However, we were there for a special birthday dinner (which the restaurant knew about) and our table was in the bar area in a confined space between two pillars. If there is a separate dining room it was not in use on a Friday night at the end of March. The setting did not match the quality of the meal and service. I'd recommend the restaurant for a great casual meal but not a special occasion.
this was our third time at Riverpark is as many weeks...We couldn't have been more pleased with the food and service...From the lamb chops to the pasta and the scallops, the food was always excellent...And the service couldn't have been more attentive and friendly...The beverage director Dusan waited on us and made sure our visit was perfect..It was...We even were moved to the corner table (with the best view) when we mentioned it the host, who also couldn't have been more kind...All and all, a great meal and experience every time we have been there..And we'll be back soon!
It was amazing!! Made my boyfriend feel very special on his birthday.
Excellent food and service and atmosphere !
We took my brother and my sister-in-law to Riverpark as a special thank you to my brother, Marc. It was one of the finest dining experiences I've ever had . Food, service and atmosphere are impeccable. Each dish is prepared with a lot of attention to detail, quality ingredients, and creative flair. Tyler, an employee, did something very special. He surprised us by printing "Thank you Marc" on all of our menus. And, Will, who seated me, was so kind and accommodating. I only have great things to say about Riverpark. It's a stunning restaurant on the East River at 29th Street, and it provides a special parking deal in the the Alexandria Center, the building where it's located. This made the entire experience a pleasure. We will certainly be back for another special occasion. I highly recommend Riverpark.
Excellent again from the service to the food... our waiter was so accommodating and attentive and the sommelier was so knowledgeable and helpful and all the staff was perfect plus the food sublime
place was very cold..otherwise everything else was excellent
Great staff, pleasant experience
Had been here several times and found this the first disappointing experience. Prior two times had been in groups of 8 and had tried many of the items on the brunch menu tapas style. French toast, donuts, breakfast tacos, all delicious. This time the breakfast tacos weren't available (mistake - should be a staple....better than bacon and eggs option.) I tried the corned beef, fingerling potatoes and thin strips of apple tossed on top --- corned been with barbeque like sauce was okay - tender, but kind of yucky for breakfast versus simple tender bites, I had asked for my poached egg to be runny, but not liquid on outside....I asked three times when I ordered.......dish came with horridly runny poached egg. When it came back, versus having a new egg, the dish had been microwaved or something, and egg was grossly solid...no runniness whatso ever....and of course had taken a long time to get. Not impressive. The dish overall was so so. My friend's eggs and bacon were not that great either La Colombe coffee always wonderful. Hoping this was a one off bad experience.
Atmosphere food and service are outstanding. We have been here several times and all have been wonderful experiences! Looking forward to returning soon!
The evening was delightful! From our lovely waitress who couldn’t have been more accommodating to the manager Ed and all the service staff who were exceptional... the food was top notch... from the scallops to the lamb chops and charcuterie plate excellent.... we’ll be back soon
Multiple visits and staff is very accommodating and great place for a business meal
Each part of our meal was excellent. The appetizer, entree, and dessert was incredible! Everything had multiple layers of taste, very well done by the chef!
We had a lovely birthday luncheon at Riverpark.. food was excellent as was the service and general atmosphere. .. and we were treated to a birthday dessert too.!
Excellent food, exceptional service, great view! Highly recommended.
Being a Top Chef fan I decided to bring my boyfriend here for his birthday since the restaurant is owned by Tom Colicchio. The ambience was beautiful and I loved that they wrote happy birthday on personalized menus however the food was just not amazing. Everything was overly salty and flavors were just not there. Simple items such as tuna tartare was super salty and the butternut squash noodles were unappetizing. The mains we ordered were the carbonara (also super salty) and the brisket which was just okay. The food was surprisingly mediocre for a place owned by the head judge of Top Chef. The only thing that saved our dinner was the dessert which was just the perfect amount of sweet. While I wanted to love this place I will not be coming back.
While the food was very, very good - I must admit that the menu seemed more limited that in prior visits. The service was overall fair. I had to ask about drinks, about 10 minutes after we were seated. Server was nice, but not effective. Overall, it was a great evening because we were catching-up with good friends, but not sure I'll return.
I had a beautiful birthday dinner & great service what amaze me the most was they print happy birthday with my name on the menu & style my dessert plate with a candle I would recommend this restaurant to everybody thank you River Park
Birthday and they did everything possible even creating a personalized menu!
Went for brunch. Food was really good and service was excellent. It's a pretty place. Will def go back.
Food was adventurous takes on classic dishes skillfully done and service was excellent.
The appetizers sounded great but when they were served they weren't anything special. The short ribs were really good and almost made up for the appetizers. On the whole I would not recommend it for the price point.
Went here for the 2nd straight year for our anniversary. One of the most interesting wine and cocktail lists in the city. Service was outstanding, attentive, and made us feel very special. Definitely a special occasion restaurant.
Everything is 5 star. Very accommodating service. Food is spectacular!
Perfection! The food was outstanding —- squash and celery noodles with pepitas mint chili and a coconut lime curry vinegarette were sublime. As was the baby lettuce salad. My husband had the brisket which he loved; I had the orrichietti with cauliflower ragu. Perfect.
