Atmosphere food and service are outstanding. We have been here several times and all have been wonderful experiences! Looking forward to returning soon!
Multiple visits and staff is very accommodating and great place for a business meal
We had a lovely birthday luncheon at Riverpark.. food was excellent as was the service and general atmosphere. .. and we were treated to a birthday dessert too.!
Excellent food, exceptional service, great view! Highly recommended.
Being a Top Chef fan I decided to bring my boyfriend here for his birthday since the restaurant is owned by Tom Colicchio. The ambience was beautiful and I loved that they wrote happy birthday on personalized menus however the food was just not amazing. Everything was overly salty and flavors were just not there. Simple items such as tuna tartare was super salty and the butternut squash noodles were unappetizing. The mains we ordered were the carbonara (also super salty) and the brisket which was just okay. The food was surprisingly mediocre for a place owned by the head judge of Top Chef. The only thing that saved our dinner was the dessert which was just the perfect amount of sweet. While I wanted to love this place I will not be coming back.
While the food was very, very good - I must admit that the menu seemed more limited that in prior visits. The service was overall fair. I had to ask about drinks, about 10 minutes after we were seated. Server was nice, but not effective. Overall, it was a great evening because we were catching-up with good friends, but not sure I'll return.
I had a beautiful birthday dinner & great service what amaze me the most was they print happy birthday with my name on the menu & style my dessert plate with a candle I would recommend this restaurant to everybody thank you River Park
Birthday and they did everything possible even creating a personalized menu!
Food was adventurous takes on classic dishes skillfully done and service was excellent.
Went here for the 2nd straight year for our anniversary. One of the most interesting wine and cocktail lists in the city. Service was outstanding, attentive, and made us feel very special. Definitely a special occasion restaurant.
Everything is 5 star. Very accommodating service. Food is spectacular!
Perfection! The food was outstanding —- squash and celery noodles with pepitas mint chili and a coconut lime curry vinegarette were sublime. As was the baby lettuce salad. My husband had the brisket which he loved; I had the orrichietti with cauliflower ragu. Perfect.
Our reservation was on Sunday, February 25. It was a surprise I arranged for my husband's birthday. The restaurant was very quiet, only 4 tables were occupied. The appetizers were delicious. We had the parsnip leek soup & butternut squash. For the main entree I ordered the scallops which were delicious. My husband ordered the rack of lamb medium-well, more towards the well side. Unfortunately his lamb was served rare. He was quite unhappy and requested the entire dish be re-made. We ended up eating our main courses separately. The manager did give us a very nice trio of desserts and round of drinks as a gesture of apology. I would expect a restaurant of this caliber to properly cook meat to the customers' taste!
Riverpark is always a special occasion spot for us.From the Avocado toast to the squash tacos ,burgers and eggs..it was a wonderful brunch.delicious coffee to go with the donuts dipped in chocolate and the “Cereal Bowl” (just check it out)..Riverpark never disappoints
The location is stunning and the space has a good vibe. For NYC, this is a quiet restaurant and perfect for groups who want to have a conversation. Wait staff was attentive, friendly and professional. The service could not have been better. The food was ok. I had the squash starter which turned out to be a dallop in a small section of squash. My scallops were over cooked making them tough. I did not taste meals around the table so it could very well be that I did not make the best choices. I would give them another try.
I am a big fan of Tom Colicchio and the menu represented him very well.
They started the menu of with a "Happy Anniversary" message which says a lot about how detail oriented they are. The staff was amazing - the food was even better.
We had the Octopus appetizer and the rack of ribs. Just phenomenal!!!
Would absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys good food...
Unrushed, delicious and creative dishes, wonderful ambiance.
Great service and views. The food was spectacular, definitely would recommend to others
Great place and very knowledgeable and friendly sommelier.
Riverpark is excellent as usual! I enjoyed the scallop and the desert. It was easy to tell that the chef put a lot of thought into the food. This was my second time here, and I will definitely visit again!
Food was excellent, our server had many tables so he was very busy, ended up forgetting my husbands coffee at the end of the meal. We were not upset because we could see how hard he was working. The ambiance was beautiful and all the staff members were very pleasant. Drinks were delicious too.
Food was almost perfect, we had a great time. Would love to come back again and try different menus.
The pre-fix dinner is an outstanding value.
Dusan (Beverage Director) is very knowledgeable and very professional.
Employees that bring you to the table should be thought to pull out the chair an invite the woman to sit. It just makes a wonderful initiation to the dining experience. I had to do it for my wife.
The male employee just walked away...
The prices were a little high, but of course that was expected and reflected in its $$ rating. However, plates were beautiful and interesting, flavors were spot on, high quality service, etc. Overall, me and my lovely girlfriend had an amazing experience for our belated Valentine's day lunch, and have been recommending Riverpark to whomever asked us about it. Thanks again for an excellent meal!
Valentine’s Day. Unmemorable as far as the food. Scallops were ok. The fish was average. Dessert was good (creme brûlée). Burrata and oysters were average. No special treats for Valentine’s Day. Overall, the restaurant has nice ambiance but the food is just above average and this is certainly not close to Michelin star material.
The Bartender was rude, the meal was over priced and the waiter was uninformed. I would never waste my time going to this place again.
My daughters and I decided on an early Valentine's Day dinner on Tuesday at River Park. First, the parking was perfect ! Validated parking for $5 can't beat it! Dinner and service was amazing. There were 3 of us, and we had 2 apps (Octopus and Sweet breads), 2 pastas, (Cavatelli and Fussili) , and 2 entrees (Chicken and Duck) All amazing and the wine steward was knowledgeable and gracious and we ended up with a super tasty Turley Zin. We came for the view, which was a lovely skyline, but we honestly didn't pay much attention to it, the food was so good and the conversation. I'd highly recommend. (P.S. Hey Tom C., maybe a little more salt on the birds :) )
Had $42 prix fixed dinner. Food was absolutely fabulous! Place is nice and view of Brooklyn is great!
Save your money! Mediocre food, poor service and not a fabulous river view! We went for brunch on a Sunday and we were the only people there for quite a while. Less than 20 were there when we departed - that's quite telling! One host, two servers and 4 serving assistants for a small crowd and yet the service was slow and lacked any enthusiasm, energy or personality. Quite disappointing overall.
We had a fantastic dinner experience at Riverpark. Great ambiance. The restaurant week menu was absolutely amazing, we actually could taste some great dishes that can define the restaurant concept. The service was alright, we just wished the waiters would be more on point and observe the tables more, attention to details is always the key. We are definitely coming back soon!
Location, location, location
A good (though not great) restaurant ruined by its miserable location and lack of signage. The restaurant is tucked away in the chilly, characterless corporate lobby of some chilly, characterless office building, with zero warmth and character (see above re chilly and characterless) and amenities -- coat-check, etc. -- that are so poorly located and thrown together they seem nothing more than second-rate afterthoughts. The signage overall is really bad -- it's a problem when diners can't find the bathroom -- and the dining room itself feels about two steps up from a hotel coffee shop. And improvement on the coffee shop....but not enough to warrant the prices. Cap all of this with the fact that it's a healthy hike from anywhere, that there are NO signs as to where the entrance is....all in all, not really a great experience. Good food, nice service, never going back.
There is nothing quite as amazing as "simple foods" prepared well that taste excellent... and that is how I'd describe Riverpark. Every bite was perfection! Tom's focus on quality is evident from the food, environment, and staff.
We had a wonderful dinner
.Service was excellent as was the food
Great service. Beautiful ambiance. Creative cuisine.
A great place for a special meal
I went to Riverpark for restaurant week. The only negative was the weather on that particular date, but it was worth the while.
There were more selections on the menu than any other restaurant I have been to for restaurant week, and all the selections were good.
The food was exquisite, and the service outstanding. The location is great and the restaurant ambiance is fenomenal.
I will definitely go back and most definitely will recommend to family and friends
Food, as always, was delicious..service was great...always enjoy being there.
Wow, nice what a deal. Went for with friends for restaurant week, cause we have never has a a poor experience at a TC resturant. This was a major score, off the beat and path where I would usaul go. But we'll worth it.
Excellent service and quiet, low key atmosphere. We went during restaurant week and the menu was varied and superb. The octopus carpaccio was amazing. The desserts were phenomenal. The presentation is exquisite - very minimal and artistic. Highly recommend.
Have eaten at Riverpark a few times before and the food was always very good. This time we found the bream a little fishy and crispy duck fatty. The appetizers and desserts were good.
My daughter and I went for restaurant week lunch. I'm so glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was above and beyond! I'm definitely going back for dinner.
