Refreshing farm to table menu, the food was amazing, service was wonderful, Parking was a little tricky.
Always leery about choosing a restaurant based solely on online searches and online reviews, however this restaurant beat all expectations. The atmosphere and views were spectacular but this foodie could not believe that each course could actually out do the previous. I will go back for the food, deeeelliicious!
The staff was great ! Very good attention to detail.
We were celebrating our second anniversary and they make the day even more special ! Thanks you for everything.
We visited Riverpark to celebrate a special birthday for my daughter. The food was wonderful, from appetizers through dessert and our waitress was lovely - attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, wine and extras. We each had something different and there were no disappointments in any of the dishes. Though somewhat out of my price range for a dinner (but not too outrageous), it was well worth it to celebrate something special.
I adore this restaurant. I have never had a bad or even mediocre meal. The food is extraordinary. Only wish the deserts were a bit better.
Beautiful dining that felt away from the city. The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly and attentive. Wonderful place to have brunch for my birthday.
Food was outstanding. The bread amazing. Pleasant surprise to have had live music. Liquor was way too expensive and we only had 2 drinks although 8 of us
Great staff great food
Excellent service. Good food. Background live music.
Overall a memorable experience for the celebrant!
Very disappointed, it was for Valentines’evening, live music stopped at 10.00 pm...our reservation was for 9.45...no one said for the music before we made the reservation and we didn’t get to our table until 10.10!! No apologies
Otherwise food was correct (lobster really nice), nice atmosphere decoration
The food was very underwhelming, particularly for the price.
Valentines prix fixe menu was an absolute rip off. The “seafood tower” was anything but a tower. The “ny strip” was two small slices of steak. The “lobster” was literally just the tail and nothing else. $370 (without tip) for that and dessert. We left hungry. Won’t come back.
Horrible value / overpriced. Weird table set up for Valentine’s Day but most importantly food not that great, all courses arrived cold.
Great food, as expected. But the ambiance was terrible. To accommodate many tourist type Valentines Day couples, tables were set up in rows factory style. Far from elegant, and hardly what I expect, and usually get, from Tom Colicchio and team.
First time here, celebrate our anniversary and also valentine's day. The service was on the spot, they are all super nice and friendly. The food was good too, especially my black sea bass was the best I never had. Definitely be back .
Tucked into an out of the way corner behind NYU Langone Hospital, this gem is uncrowded, tranquil, and hits a perfect note of casual luxury. Nothing stuffy or overly done, but everything perfect. Generally for this level of perfect you have to endure some million-calorie tasting menu that's so rich you feel sick for a week afterwards. Attention to detail and obsessive quality on a more casual and straight forward menu is sweet spot that's hard to find.
From the moment we arrived we were met with the most welcoming staff. The manager was very attentive and had my special request waiting for me at my table. My date and I had an amazing time with delicious food in a gorgeous environment and we will most definitely be returning to taste more of this menu.
Might have been an off day:
Got wrong drink told server - got charged for it
Had to ask for Entrée forks w/ Entrees were marked with App forks
Server asked us if we wanted to hold our food ( we ordered a bottle of wine) Food came out almost immediately after that question was asked and we were half way through our food when wine arrived and was opened.
Great ambiance, friendly service but the food was sub-par and lacking in flavor. For this type of restaurant I expected much more. Go for the river views, but go elsewhere for a delicious meal.
I absolutely loved my experience at Riverpark. It was a little hard to find but the ambiance was very warm and welcoming. The entire staff was from start to finish took such great care of my guest and I... I was celebrating my Birthday and felt even more special. I'm honestly still floating on air. The steak tartar was divine. The best focaccia I've had in ages! Can't wait to go back!
Very nice restaurant, great food, hip vibe, would return
Really impressed, the food was some of the best I've had in NYC and the ambiance was perfect for a quiet celebration.
Upscale but not intimidating. The food can be a challenge, but the waitstaff is ready, willing, and able to provide definitions! Really, a lovely treat with an outstanding view over the river. Who knew Brooklyn could look so lovely?
Menu too limited. Our group couldn't find any appetizer that looked appetizing. Mains were tasty but vegetable sides were oxersauced. Given the inconvenient location and high prices, I expected better. The cocktails were excellent, however.
We frequent Riverpark and have a wonderful experience each visit. Relaxed yet efficient service. All meals are cooked as if they are each the house specialty. I highly recommend brunch or dinner.
We have been going regularly to Riverpark for years since they have opened. We go with and without friends once again the food quality was very good. We had the zucca and the cavatelli to start followed by the scallops and the skate. Everything was flavorful, satisfying and cooked perfectly.
The wine selection was good, we loved the bottle we found.
Unfortunately, the service has not impressed me for some time now. Maybe some more training for the servers to achieve a little more grace in conversation skills. That might help.
Food was amazing
Food, ambience, service - all excellent. We really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend for a nice dinner out.
The service at Riverpark was impeccable. The waiter was very attentive and the food was delicious. Our only complaint was the heat was not working in the room in which we were seated. We were told by the waiter that they were having issues with the heat as far as it working, but the manager told us it was put on and should be working shortly. We were offered shawls, but declined. We fortunately kept our coats and used our scarves to keep us warm. The room was beautiful as it overlooked Long Island city and Brooklyn. I can only imagine how lovely it would be to dine there while the weather is warmer. Hopefully, their heating system gets repaired quickly. Other than that, I would totally go back, especially for that milk and cereal dessert 😋.
Great service, tasty food, beautiful views. Thank you!
The food was amazing. Delicious, fresh ingredients with fun textures. Berkshire pork chop was a highlight. And the mascarpone cheesecake really blew my mind. Cereal and milk was definitely tasty too. Would also recommend the burratini and espresso duck breast! We ate like kings for ~$70 each after tax and tip on restaurant week. Really appreciate the upgrade options so we could try their signature dishes! 10/10 would come back! I have high hopes for their pasta.
Riverpark never fails to impress. I’ve been here several times and it’s always top notch. I celebrated my husbands birthday and they made the whole night perfect. Hats off to all the staff there who are so attentive and friendly.
Dined at Riverpark during winter 2019 restaurant week. Ambiance was ideal with spectacular views of the East River regardless of where you were sitting. Food was amazing, but portions were small. Suppose that's what you get when you order from the restaurant week menu.
Had a dinner with a friend using the Restaurant Week opportunity. It was a very nice experience.
My friend and I visited for restaurant week and were impressed! Definitely get milk and cereal dessert.
Service was amazing! Waitress was very helpful and enthusiastic.
Went during restaurant week. Good food nice ambiance
Our experience was, unfortunately, dominated by the people at the next table: 2 young women with a child under one year old. The child was playing with (pounding) toys on the metal frame of the window right behind me. A restaurant staff member was clearly aware of the problem but did nothing. This was too annoying to ignore as it continued through the whole meal.
Otherwise, the view of the river was very nice. The food was prepared exactly as requested & presented very well and tasty. Butternut squash soup with roasted apple's taste was too smoky for my taste, and salmon over couscous was good. My friend had kale salad and smoked brisket, both of which she enjoyed.
Our server could have been more attentive. More than once I had to get up to get more water myself.
The value was certainly good as it is Restaurant Week
