Riverpark Ratings and Reviews
We have dined at this restaurant on several occasions and it always pleases. The ambience is exceptional with views across the East river to Brooklyn. The service is spot on, just the right amount of attention. The food is very tasteful and served with good continuity of courses just. And a big plus is you can actually have a decent conversation without. Raising voices over loud and obtrusive music.
Excellent experience. The brunch food was amazing. The doughnuts, avocado toast, Nashville hot chicken, and eggs and bacon were all tasty. Definitely a quiet location for Sunday brunch, but if you do not require a scene, the foods is definitely worth the trip to the far East side.
Great evening spent at Riverpark for our daughters birthday. The staff was aware of her birthday and they could not have been more doting. Service was probably the best we've ever experienced. It was a Wednesday so I'm sure that helped but it could have also gone the other way, because it was a Wednesday. We all loved what we ordered, and plates were not small. The small perfectly lit restaurant over looks the east river and Williamsburg, Greenpoint area. We will gladly return.
My wife and I frequent Riverpark's bar on Friday evenings for happy hour so we are well aware of the establishment's ambiance and friendly staff. We have also dined there previously with positive outcomes. We recently went there for my wife birthday and the level of attention she was afforded went far beyond what I could have expected. The food was delicious, the chef and bartender tailored items on the menu to our subtle change desires. The hostess and server went out of their way to my spouse feel special. The commemorative personalized menu was a very nice touch! Thank you Riverpark
We celebrated a birthday and they made it special by having the menu say Happy Birthday...”, candle in dessert and they wrapped up the menu in a bow for us to take home as a keepsake.
However, the chairs are uncomfortable, we sat near the bar and it was very loud. The bartenders shaking the martinis was distracting. It was also a bummer that you had to leave the restaurant to go to the bathroom. They were located in the foyer of the building that the restaurant was in.
Overall the food was very good. The waiter was kind and we had fun.
Kudos to the restaurant for custom printing our menus and the free personalized dessert. Outside of that, you guys fell flat. Terrible service, cold and undercooked food, and not even a visit from a manager? What a waste of time and money. Can't imagine what regular dinner service here is like.....
The wine list was great and they had a sommelier onsite for recommendations. Our table enjoyed the burrato to start and everyone enjoyed their entre. The duck breast was especially delicious. For desert the key lime pie was amazing. Service was wonderful and they took very good care of the birthday girl.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and I wanted something with the proper ambience. It was perfect and the restaurant called ahead to see if it was a special occasion. When we arrived and were given menus, the menu was printed with my wife’s name and my name at the top. It was a nice touch. The waiter rolled up the menus as we were leaving as a momentum. The patio unfortunately is not as classy as the inside. It’s used as a craft beer area which consist of picnic benches and board games. Overall we were very pleased. The food was sensational.
Riverpark offered us a great experience at New York City! The food tastes fantastic and all the waiters are incredibly approachable and friendly. We even got a free plate of squash because it was our first time here! The night view is great for pictures after dinner. If you plan to take a Uber to the restaurant, it’s probably easier if you enter Little River as your destination cuz otherwise it might lead you to the parking lot downstairs.
From start to finish it was a perfect evening. We were celebrating our anniversary and were seated in the perfect out of the way table. Treated like royalty and left to our own
Beforehand we had walked thru the gardens, sat on a bench to view the river, and enjoyed the quiet beautiful clean outdoors
We started with good wine and a masterfully blended cocktail followed an amazing charcuterie ( bread. Oh the bread, and duck prosciutto and more
We shared a trout and a duck for dinner and for dessert, well, before I tell I should say I take my dessert seriously. It should always be chock, it gets points for cold and crunchy. Presentation and originality count and the cereal and milk they served up was a ten on all points
I suppose you could say I was happy, overjoyed, delighted.
Suffice it to say we have plans to return. To sit at the bar, see the restaurant and the view, order a cocktail and have dessert. I’m sure while there we will succumb to other temptations.
The ambiance was nice. We sat outside and were more comfortable than inside, where the air-conditioning was quite cold. Nice views of Queens, especially as it grew darker and the lights came on across the river. I found the FDR traffic unappealing, but our friends from California really enjoyed being near the river and didn't seem to mind the highway. The decor is lovely.
We all enjoyed our food; two of us had the halibut, one had a seafood pasta, and one had brook trout. We shared desserts and enjoyed them as well. Overall, a good experience and a relaxed evening with our friends.
Went here with high expectations as this is a Tom Colicchio restaurant. Space is very nice, and views are great across the East river. Menu was bit pedestrian, and because they focus on farm to table (and grow some of their own ingredients) many dishes had the same items in them (heirloom tomatotes and pole beans must have been in over 50% of the dishes). Food itself was just meh - nothing great. Started with the Octopus, and a couple of the pieces seemed off-tasting. Pork rack for two included fatty belly (not rendered enough), and tasteless collards. Skipped dessert. Wine list has a plentiful selection, but pricey. One good thing to know is for the fall, every Tuesday is zero dollar corkage, so bring your own. Overall, just disappointing.
Wow. Crazy uninspiring. We've done Collicchio restaurants before and had extraordinary experiences. Truly memorable. So we went to Riverpark with high expectations. Inappropriately long waits between courses (Monday night, so NOT busy), service was friendly but not anything I couldn't get at 1,000 places in the city. Watermelon salad appetizer was fantastic, but everything else was ... Eh. We left the cheesecake dessert on the plate, it was grey and tasteless.
We went to Riverpark for late brunch/early lunch, and I was a little disappointed. We had eaten at Craft (another Colicchio restaurant) a few nights prior, so I was really expecting more from Riverpark. I ordered the carnitas tacos, and they were totally flavorless. It was just a blob of tasteless pork with no life, no texture, absolutely no spice or flavor. The garnish was meek, and although it had a little more flavor, it was definitely not enough to save the taco overall. Others at our table got the burger, which I tried and it was delicious. We also ordered the avocado toast and kale salad as appetizers, and both were incredibly good. The tacos though... they were just plain bad.
We had a fantastic experience dining at Riverpark the other night.
They serve phenomenal seasonal food.
Several of the ingredients are grown in a farm adjacent to the restaurant.
The service was excellent and the wine pairings that they recommended were spot on.
The restaurant itself has an intimate ambiance in the evening with expansive views out over the East River.
We will certainly be dining here again.
