It has been such a beautiful dinner with my friends for my 18th birthday.
Food was wonderful and also the atmosphere.
Visited riverpark for my boyfriends birthday. We had an amazing seat where we could see LIC and the east river. Very good service and atmosphere. Modern and clean. Wasnt crazy about the long island bream for 2 but the pasta dish we ordered was very good. The table next to us got a complimentary dessert for birthday but we did not recieve one otherwise wouldve given 5 stars for food.
We had a great time at Riverpark. We were celebrating my wife's birthday. I especially liked the welcome glass of sparkling wine for the birthday and the printed birthday menu Riverpark gives to go. Dushan, the sommelier was an amazing host who shared with us the vast wine knowledge he has. We are definitely looking forward to coming back here.
We were a party of 10, welcomed with a beautiful table. The wait staff was attentive and didn’t rush us. We loved their Peeko oysters, raw, and as well as fried in corn meal. All of our dishes were delicious and delightfully presented. We were not seated on the waterfront, all of those tables are smaller, but we walked around and enjoyed the stunning views of the river at night.
Our third visit with guests - and all was exceptional. Fabulous atmosphere, food and service. This is a special place to eat in Manhattan.
Food was delicious and service was outstanding!! We asked for advice picking 2 out of 3 desserts and they brought us the 3rd one on the house - and they were some of the bear we’ve ever had! Thanks for a wonderful meal!
Great food and superb service. A bit pricey but well worth it.
This place is hip and chic without being pretentious or overcrowded. Very nice design and ambiance, great service, and most importantly -- delicious food that to some extent is sourced from the adjacent urban garden. Came here for a business dinner and absolutely loved it! A bit off the beaten path, which is another reason to go.
A real gem on the NYC restaurant scene. Riverpark is worth the journey there. Being out of the way, it has the benefit of great views, great food great wine and not overcrowded.
Loved the locale BUT food was served tepid and coffee was brought well before dessert arrived. Hot food and dessert and coffee together and you would have received and A from me.
Food was amazing and all the vegetables were home grown. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive.
The wine list although extensive was missing a household favourite. (Argentinian Malbec). When seated outside it would be good if there were blankets or wraps available as it can get chilly.
Overall a great evening and would definitely recommend.
This restaurant provides outstanding service, knowledgeable and courteous staff and excellent food. The cereal and milk desert was fantastic.
I am from London and I booked the Riverpark for my boyfriend's birthday dinner - due to some unforeseen circumstances, we arrived at the restaurant hours later than the booked time slot. Not only was Riverpark very accommodating, they were also very understanding that we weren't able to enjoy a 3-course meal (as it was late then), and did their best to make it a memorable and special occasion for us. The food was great, service impeccable and the views were lovely. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Was looking for a reasonably quiet place for a Friends/Business dinner I was hosting and this was perfect.
Very attentive service, excellent food and wine. Noise was moderate - just right, and even then, when a slightly louder group appeared at the bar next to our table (we hadn't even noticed or said anything related to noise in advance), the manager came by to apologize for the increased noise level and explained they'd offered the group to move to another area! A first!
Very happy my friend from here recommended.
Riverpark did a really nice job of making my grandma feel special on her birthday. The personalized menu was a nice touch. Thank you!
This is now our family go to place for all occasions. We love the staff, food and atmosphere. Especially the staff. They’re attentive without hovering. That includes all the staff from the time your seated to the bus staff, wait staff and maitre’d.
The food is always spot on and fresh with many selections sourced directly from the on-site urban farm.
Oh and one last thing. Do not miss the hand crafted cocktails. The Busmanny (Basil infused vodka and grapefruit) to die for!
We eat at Riverpark every few months and the warm, attentive staff remember us each time. The wine list never disappoints and the incredibly fresh ingredients are prepared with balance and creativity. We enjoyed several seafood dishes, pasta and fairytale eggplant. The desserts were also memorable. Will be back again soon!
Very nice , staff was great we took our time and were never rushed
Amazing scenery! Waiters were super polite and very attentive. Wasted no time in between meals. Honored the reservation as well as the request for a view of the East River on the outside patio.
Took mom here for Birthday lunch. Our menus were inscribed with a personalized birthday greeting, as well as her dessert plate. Nice classy touch. Food was tasty and beautifully plated. The dining room is gorgeous. Fine dining experience at a reasonable cost. Only downside was public space outside of restaurant - don’t really want to watch people guzzle Arizona tea and fast food during their lunch break.
Always love dining here. It's a beautiful place with a great view. The servers are wonderful and the menu is eclectic. Really always enjoy my meal here.
Food was very substantial for a brunch.I though the Bloody Marys were slow incoming until I saw all their attachments. There were too many attachments, they spoiled the drink and weren't worth the really long wait. This is a very unique and elegant space and as such is a great addition to the NY dining scene, both in
daytime and evening .
Very tastefully , caring service , great point of view on east river
Wonderful, wonderful restaurant with the most delicious food.Home grown veggies from their own garden.Beautiful views of the east river, bridges, boats, etc.Special birthday menu and comp dessert! Lovely knowledgeable service.Beautiful patio and casual beer garden when weather permits.
Thank you River Park.
What a discovery! Apparently Riverpark has been there for 7 years. We just noticed it for the first time driving down the FDR drive and saw some people sitting outside (at what turned out to be the related Beer Garden, but not the Riverpark restaurant itself). That said, Riverpark has both outdoor dining tables and indoor tables with a beautiful river view. I had indicated in my Open Table profile that it was a special occasion and when they called to confirm I told them it was my brother Alex's birthday. When we were seated and opened our menus they had printed "Happy Birthday Alex" at the top of the menu. I thought this was just a phenomenally thoughtful touch for the evening and put us all in a great frame of mind. The food was terrific as well and the services was outstanding - super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable (and accommodating... since we had a 4 year old with us). We will definitely be going back again and again. Loved this place!
A beautiful restaurant, very friendly staff and delicious food.
It was my partners birthday and everyone made a point of wishing her well. They even wrote her a special message on her menu and gave her a copy, nice touch!
Would have liked to have been seated somewhere where we could enjoy the view more but overall lovely.
Has become my dependable place for good food, good service, good views and place for meeting with friends.
This is a great place to eat. Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Can’t say anything bad about it except that it is too far from my home. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent service and ambiance, with unobstructed views of the East River. The wait staff and management could not do enough to please us. Food was very good and desserts were outstanding, especially the chocolate ganash with milk and rice.
First time at Riverpark; definitely not the last.
The hospitality, food and views at Riverpark are always so far above and beyond. I really don't know which meal is best - lunch, dinner, brunch - or a burger at the bar.
The ambiance of Riverpark was exceptional, as was the staff. Both met the standards of a sophisticated, superior restaurant. Unfortunately, my kale salad was terrible (very salty, peaches flavorless, etc.) and the pasta dish was unremarkable. Dessert, of course, was fantastic.
We took a friend to celebrate a ‘special’ birthday and were treated royally. This is definitely our go to place for all kinds of occasions and regular meals as well. The place is beautiful, classy and yet relaxed and welcoming.
Out of Tito’s? That’s crazy
Everything here was sensational! Outside dining was comfortable and scenic. The food was superb and very creative without being weird. This service though was truly outstanding. Our server Andjela, was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, well spoken and charming. Every staff member we encountered was helpful friendly and truly interested in making your experience here a delight.
It was very evident that there was extensive staff training in this establishment. As a lovely surprise, when I made the reservation and told them it was for my husband's birthday, our menus actually were printed with his name on them wishing him a happy birthday. Absolutely beautiful! This place is truly a gem!
One of our "go to" restaurants in Manhattan, Riverpark rarely disappoints. The staff always goes above and beyond and all dishes bare that unique "Colicchio" flavor (I say shishito peppers) as well as offering some of the most innovative and original non-alcoholic drinks and desserts in the city
A very casual spot
I did not enjoy the food. It was not my taste. Service was very good ! I took friend visiting from out the country, we where not o hungry and order appetizers, carrot paty or something it was horrible to my taste. My guests order mushroom soup , horrible too. The house didn’t charge us for it and they changed my friends plates for pasta and it was better, but still pasta was hard. I have to say the waiters were extremely nice !
The food and location were great but honestly the worst service we’ve had in NYC in a long time. Too bad!
My husband and I are very big fans of Tom Colicchio’s Temple Court, so I thought Riverpark would be just as amazing. Riverpark proved to have really great food, but the service was terrible and the atmosphere was not what we expected. When we pulled up, we were loving the ambiance and views. We had a drink at the bar and then sat down for our reservation. We were In no rush, however, it took over 3 hours to complete the meal. At first our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable and took my allergy concerns seriously-so no problems there...but halfway through the meal, he disappeared to other tables and we suddenly had a new waiter. We ordered a bottle of wine and the new waiter brought it to the table behind us, uncorked it and poured 2 glasses. The couple thought they were being given 2 complementary glasses for some reason and when they told him that they didn’t order the bottle (after drinking the 2 glasses) the waiter took the bottle back and, after overhearing a conversation between them, still charged them for the 2 glasses that they drank. We told the waiter that we thought he gave the bottle to the wrong table and he was very confused and asked if we still wanted the wine and eventually brought it out, but again, did not show the bottle or let us taste it.We are in no way wine snobs, but when your paying for overpriced bottles of wine, I would expect some sort of knowledge about how to properly serve it. He then disappeared and we had to request a busboy to find our waiter for us so that we could order dessert-which then took over a half hour to be served. We never saw our waiter again after ordering the dessert.
I chose this restaurant based on the food and views, however, I was completely distracted by the lack of competent service and the teenage girls sitting in the beer garden taking selfies and snap chatting.
I’m embarrassed to say this, but the service was so bad, that it was the first time we left a restaurant ever without leaving a tip...
Really great service, amazing food, and a fantastic view. Made all the difference.
