Riverfront Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
Our service was spotty at best. After our server came to the table and told us he was the best they had with 11 years of experience, he then disappeared. Then when he was at the table he seemed rushed. The "biggest salad bar in Pulaski County" was pretty good, but not even as impressive as Krogers salad bar. The potato that was "big enough to share" was a standard potato at any other restaurant and we had to pay extra for it. The steak was good, once you got through the thick crust of black pepper. The wine selection was very nice. Overall, I felt like I could have gotten as good a steak and potato at a place like Texas Roadhouse for much less money and that would have included bread to go with the meal.
We have celebrated special occasions at RF for close to 20 years, usually with a fairly large group. It's always been a wonderful experience. Shawn is our usual waiter.
However, this time we were very disappointed with the poor seating our group of 13 was given. And, while our waiter was good, he wasn't Shawn.
Our meal was fantastic as usual. I highly recommend the Delmonico steak. Our server Jasmin was the best. We always ask for her. If you want a-one service be sure to ask for her. Overall I rate a 11 on a scale from one to ten. The music and magician was over the top. He gave us special attention account it was my 70th birthday my grandson's 16th birthday as well as my wife and I's 48 wedding anniversary. Thanks Trav
We have often use this location for Business dinners and have never been disappointed. It is definitely a favorite and will always be first on my list of recommendations for all types of gatherings. Thank you so much for the top notch service and we will be back.
Over all experience was good except , we had reservations and when we got there the Hostess put us in a Corner table right by the singer,,, we asked to be moved out by the windows,, only thing that was frustrating to us. Plus there were plenty of tables open the whole time we were there.
My ribeye was easily the best steak I’ve ever had. Perfect texture and flavor and the right ratio of meat and fat. The salad bar was impressive. It was a very wide selection of veggies and other salads.
They knew from our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, so they arranged a free birthday decorated cheesecake for my husband accompanied by a table side singer.
We also enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and Christmas tree after dinner.
Great experience, overall!
Riverfront Steakhouse is known for quality steaks and they never disappoint. On this visit, I enjoyed the bone-in ribeye while my wife had a filet, both well flavored and tender. The salad bar is large with great variety and the side dishes (ordered separately) are enough to share. The bow-tie macaroni and cheese with crab is fabulous. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.
Service slow. Wait for drinks was very long. $40 steak had gristle. Prime Rib was cold. Not room temp or cool, cold. Was edible with hot ah jus. After a while, multiple dips of cold prime rib cooled ah jus to the point that ah jus was cool.
Potatoes fine. Ribe-eye was good in non gristle areas.
Overall had better dinners at Logan's for less than half the price.
I was expecting this place to be 5 star but honestly I’ve had better steaks. The potatoes were so hard you could only eat very little of the potato due to it not being cooked all the way through. It was like that for everyone at the table. Other then that, good place to eat.
3 of 5 steaks ordered were overcooked way beyond what was ordered and dry. We eat at a lot of USDA Prime steakhouse. These were NOT Prime grade meat. We complained to mgr and got credit for one steak. Salad bar and sides were good. 2 of our friends with us had eaten here before and were very disappointed in the steak quality this evening.
Bad ambience, poor-quality food, no river view. Firstly, despite the name of the restaurant and the proximity to the river, there is no review view. Rather, you get to look at the salad buffet bar and low-quality wall art featuring blue dogs. The table bread was overly doughy, chewy and bland served with half a stick of typical store butter. We tried the garlic fried rice as an appetizer, and it was ok but nothing special. I had the prime rib, ordered medium rare, but served medium-to medium-well. It was chewy. My husband had the filet, which was also over done, but was tender and flavorful. But, over all, especially given the pricing, you could have better food for less at Texas Roadhouse, which is why I feel that I cannot leave a positive review.
We were seated by a party of 2o with kids unsupervised and running every where and jerking candles off the the tables. The ladies were loud as well as the kids. The ladies even went in the kitchen to get sauce which I thought was unsanitary. We ate as quickly as possible. We raved to our friends about the steakhouse, but they were in shock over the atmosphere.
Always (been going for 20+ years) great steaks! Salad bar about the best in the Little Rock greater metropolitan area. Very reasonable pricing. Mon - Wed before 6:30 PM is "Early Bird" - about a 30% discount! Highly recommended. I've never had a bad experience. I DO recommend reservations for weekends, in particular.
I loved the atmosphere for my birthday party, but my guest and I thought the salad bar needed to be revamped. In previous years, the salad bar included such items as shrimp or roast. Many items on the menu are a la carte as well. The food was excellent, but it becomes rather expensive when you have to buy everything separately.
I've made many trips to Riverfront. They are always superb!
After dining this time, while sitting having a drink, the power grid in NLR went out. The way the staff handled this was fantastic! No panic. No problems. They stepped up and remained just as attentive as always!
You learn a lot about people by the way they handle problems. The staff has once again earned my respect and my business for years to come!
This is not my first trip. They never cease to come through.
They were extremely busy but the wait staff never missed a beat. We still felt like we were the only customers in the building.
Excellent food and fantastic service.
The manager, Donnie is truly a diamond!
There were 4 of us on a Thursday night. We had one of the great waiters but the place was packed with pre concert fans. Thanks to Open Table we had a reservation. The service was very good but the meal did not live up to our normal expectations. The two filets were fine as were the mashed potatoes, however the prime rib was warm at best really about room temp. The "billed ARKANSAS's GREATEST SALAD BAR" was showing the pressure from the crowd.
