Second time there. Was there for CXF MMA event. As we were last time there and both times and the food was very good.
They were closed on the night that I made a reservation for ... I tried calling to verify the reservation by phone but they told me that they couldn't tell me anything before 5 PM. I called back later and no one answered the phone. The day of my get together, my friends got there and found that the place was closed. Party fail.
I had the rumaki appetizer, the mushroom raviolis and the asparagus. My brother had the caesar salad with chicken. Everything was delicious! The happy hour house chardonnay is Avalon from Napa. Nice! Food server was awesome. I live in Nor Cal but visit friends and family in So Cal often. We were having dinner before a 7PM wedding across the street.
River Rock was different from what I expected. I am in my 50's and wanted a place to meet a friend for a burger and a beer. First of all, there was a wedding going on there when I arrived. Ok. Not a big deal. Second, the place has a '70's vibe with the reddish carpet, disco ball and dark booths and tables. The tattoo covered servers, and most of the other customers, were also a surprise. Nicest people you could imagine. Great service. Lots of TVs to watch football. We had a great time. Don't let the looks fool you. The food was good, the service great, good drink specials and lots of TVs. This may be my Sunday afternoon football watching spot!
Awesome Ribeye Steak cooked to perfection, awesome chicken sandwich, awesome service!
Had a great time on their outdoor patio for brunch. Second time there. Food was delicious! Will be back :)
This is a great find in the valley! Food is amazing and staff is always friendly!! Went for comedy night on a Saturday and had a GREAT time!
We made the reservation on Open Table and when we got there they said the dining room was closed for a special occasion and only had a tiny table in the bar with a bench as the only seat. So we sat next to each other with no room on the table staring at the bartender. Very disappointed.
Service was excellent, and the food was good, too. My dirty martini was a bit too salty. We also had a wobbling dinning table.
It's a nice place for Sunday brunch, nothing too fancy but a good selection of brunch and lunch items. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, accessible.
One server for the inside and outside means long wait times. Everything was wonderful but that...
Was shocked to see the menu was just a piece of paper and that the dinner menu consisted of mostly hamburgers. This would be the last place I would go to for a hamburger. The dinner plates themselves consisted of only 3 dishes; one which was a chicken dish. I usually never order chicken when out because it's something I make at home a lot. This was good but no presentation or nothing to brag about at all. When I go out to dinner with friends, we like to go somewhere where the food top notch and innovative. This was not. My other 2 friends with me were not impressed either. Since this area is opening restaurants with similar food, it would be nice to have a restaurant with gourmet food.
A little run down but its an old place. Food was great! The water pool outside was calking to watch. Everyone in our group LOVED their burgers. I had the cheese filled burger.... it rocked! Would go back!
Our group has had several parties here over the past 4 years and the service, food and ambience are always spectacular.
Great and friendly service. Food is better than expected and priced well. A nice alternative to the new and very noisy places on Ventura Blvd that offer no parking, but a $4 valet fee. This was a hassle free surprise and I'd recommend to anyone over 40 who doesn't like to scream or be bombarded by noisy places.
