   I booked a table a month in advance, only to show up Valentine’s Day weekend to find a closed sign taped to the door. I received no email, no phone call, no sort of notification what so ever. Drove all the way out there and wasted my gas and time for nothing. That’s why they got the rating they did.

   Maybe it was an off night, because our visit to River Rock was completely underwhelming. First off, the service was very spotty, with multiple people servicing our table, but no apparent communication. I ordered the ribeye medium-rare. What I got looked more like a flattened strip, a disappointing half-inch thick, and cooked just above medium. No marbling, and tougher than shoe leather. The chimichurri or whatever they put on there wasn't bad. The asparagus was undercooked and cold. My special ladyfriend had the sliders, which were undercooked, yet extremely dry and brittle. They came out 10 minutes after my entree. At the end of our meal, as we asked for the check, they delivered the rolls to our table. We just shook our heads. Very mediocre.

   It's a bar with a menu. Very ordinary would not go back

   We reserved this location for a baby shower and it was a big group. They were able to accommodate us with no problem for brunch. Great ambience for big group. Outdoor dining! The table was ready. You can decorate it. It was very private, not overcrowded. Well priced. Food was good. Good for photos as well. Our friends and the celebrant had a great time. Thank you Roberta and Chris for your fast response. Will definitely recommend and come back for another event.

   Very nice outside area near the water element. Quiet an uncrowded for a 1230 brunch. Huge variety of food served,both hot and cold, veggie and meat. Excellent service!

   Nice neighborhood place with a good buffet selection but it was very quiet, not many in for a SUN Brunch and the space most definitely needs a refresh .. .. Carpet was worn out and dirty .. ..

    The kindest thing I can say is that we were seated promptly and the waiter was polite. Overall, however, the service was extremely slow despite the fact that we were one of only two tables filled. We never received our appetizer even after our waiter assured us it was on the way. I figured that fish and chips would be relatively safe even if it were from frozen, but the fish was actually chewy and had a strange texture. The mixed drink I ordered was watery and not worth the money. The hotel has great history but the restaurant is no longer up to par and I will not return.
