Food was good . I had shrimp and grits , although my shrimp was a little salty it was delicious. My Tito’s was what I needed to celebrate my birthday.
Food and beer was very good, service was less than what I expected since the bar area was minimally busy.
The home fries were delicious! Rachael was a wonderful server.
Disappointed. Will not be back, no loss that the restaurant is closing. Not what it once was.
Food was over salted and I really like salt
The atmosphere was inviting, location was great at the end of the Riverwalk and I had hopes but I was quite disappointed. I ordered a Ribeye steak and for a $40 steak, I expected much better. It had no seasoning and was just covered in mushroom gravy. It was cooked as I asked but with no flavor, it just didn't appease to me. Also, it came with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes. Both bland, no flavor. There was a party upstairs playing VERY loud music that was distracting.
Our server (luckily can't remember his name) greeted our table by telling us how busy he was and if we needed anything to just 'holler'. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming by far. We even had to ask for bread plates after he brought our bread out after sitting there for about 15 minutes. Food came in a reasonable amount of time as to be expected. My daughter had pasta and husband had Jambalaya. Both said their meal was just 'okay'. Expected much more from this location. Won't be coming back.
Service was great, food was ok but the lobster macaroni had shrimps in it and not a lot of lobster...
Beer selection not what we hoped for. Missing some IPA’s.
This was our first trip to downtown Jacksonville. We loved eating dinner next to the river, with a view of dolphins playing in the water. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. We all chose different seafood entries so we could taste more of the specials. From the calamari appetizer to the halibut, shrimp/lobster/scallops specials, all of the food was tantilizing to our tastebuds. It was definitely a delicious foodie experience.
We will be back next time we are traveling in the Jacksonville area.
The food was fresh and tasteful. The service was great. Our waiter was polite and efficient.
Such a great place!
Under staffed. Views were great. Food was old and fishy tasting.
The food was delicious! Our server was great! I will definitely be back before the doors close for good. The city has decided to build condos in its place. One of the last great restaurants downtown. Sad to see their time has come to an end.
Amazing food and great view. Highly recommend.
The view is amazing. We watched dolphins swim the whole time. Service was also excellent. The food and beer, however could use some work.
Took an hour to get appetizers, we had to rush to make an 8 o’clock appointment even tho we got there at 6, the food was not anything special.
Awesome date good prices great service
Apparently this used to be a much-loved seafood restaurant decades ago. It’s now riding on the old legacy with an owner operator that’s trying to sell gross beer and expensive food that doesn’t deliver. Food was not made from fresh ingredients. What could be a great throwback to 1980s Jacksonville with its koi pond and wooden spiral staircase- is now a sad, rundown and mostly empty waterfront restaurant. No fault found with our hardworking server. Just an owner/operator that hasn’t reinvested a dime. Skip it.
Food was good. Amazing views. The place was empty. They need to renovate. It would be such a hip place if they renovated. It’s like a blast from the past. Get rid of the stuffy uniforms and old carpet. I had a vegan meal and it was pretty good. The catch of the day was also good
I had a reservation and they were prompt at seating us. Service and food were good.
The food was very good. Given the name includes the word "brewery" I was expecting better beer. I got the super sampler which had all 10 of their beers and unfortunately did not find any that were particularly remarkable.
Our server Bre was fantastic! She brought a complimentary birthday dessert and we didn't have to ask for it. The manager Christine came by and checked on our table as well. Great service and experience.
We haven't been to RCBC in a couple of years. We had reservations for five. Sat inside with a beautiful view of the St. Johns River. Their beers are as crisp and delicious as ever, their Prix fixe dinners were very good at an extremely reasonable price. The service was great...Thank you RCBC!!!
RCBC was amazing the food was impeccable and the service was excellent!!! I love this place 🥰
Waiter excellent. Nice ambience on river
Restaurant ambience could be so much more. The view outside is perfect but the restaurant inside needs work.
Delicious lunch on a beautiful afternoon. We will we back!
The food was excellent unfortunately the service was not. The service was a little below average at best. The view was nice but not quite as nice a described on the web page. We would try other places before going back and only reason we would go back was the food.
Way past it's prime. Old, run down and the food is awful! Stay away!
Dinner was delicious. I enjoyed the Grouper and my friend loved the Lobster Mac n cheese. We loved eating outside and really enjoyed the view.
Great food and special location. We enjoyed our time at the brewery.
The food was mediocre at best.
This was my first time here for lunch. The service, food and drinks were good as usual. Sat outside, so the view of the river was great. Definitely a great place for a lunch date with my friends.
The food was excellent and their draft beer was cold and flavorful without that nasty IPA aftertaste. Quiet night and we sat near the water. Beautiful setting. Staff very friendly and knowledgable.
Haven’t been here in years and was really only during brunch. Overall was a good experience the food was good but nothing really wowed us. You could tell however it was fresh seafood so that’s a big plus. The wine and Beer were very good and at a good price. Especially recommended the Kentucky bourbon to non beer drinkers almost didn’t even taste like beer. Wait staff was very good solid recommendations and were honest about any question we asked. They seemed understaffed but they held it together very well. Overall it’s a good date spot especially window seat during sundown.
It was prom night and the waiter Rick was fabulous as always but the volume was rather higher than usual. The hostess left a lot to be desired!
our server (Rachael) did an outstanding job
all employees were helpful
This was the 2nd time I was here within a week. Honestly, the first time was terrible, but because they’re on the water I decided to give them another try. The food is truly the only saving grace and it’s ok at best. Service is terrible. Sorry to say, we will not be returning.
The scenario was beautiful, food was amazing and the waitress was so attentive and polite.
Took my three grandsons to River City Brewing Co. during their spring break. Had a nice leisurely lunch overlooking the river outside.
Excellent service and wonderful food.
The food and service were fantastic! We were a large party and it was a perfect day. The wait staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! We all look forward to returning for a meal in the near future ! Excellent experience overall !
