Beautiful venue and view. Excellent service and good selection on menu. We were pleased with the beef carpaccio and grilled octopus appetizers. We had the pasta with freshly grated truffles which was good not great. Truffles tasted a bit stale. The bouillabaisse special was very good but both entrees were small portions. Again, service was outstanding we really enjoyed the complimentary dessert. Will return.
Expected very nice atmosphere, food good, expensive. Noisy as they sat us next to big groups. Expected to have a cocktail in sky view lounge, private party there, so not available. Dress code stated nice casual but workers all in blue jeans. Did not appear professional.
Food was excellent. It took 20 min for the waitress to come and ask dor our drink requests. We were about ready to leave and it wasn't even busy. That part was lame. If they didn't have good food it would have been a poor star rating
This was our second visit to Rivea and on both occasions the food was outstanding but service was mixed. For some reason, on both occasions we were virtually ignored by our waitperson for the first 25 minutes. The hostess sat us and took our water order. The woman who turned out to be our server dropped of 2 menus and a wine by the glass menu and asked if we wanted a wine list and we said yes. Bread appeared but we did not see her again for about 10 minutes when she whisked by and said I will be right with you. About 10 minutes later she came by again and asked if we had any questions. Rudely, perhaps, I replied yes - where's our wine menu. She got that and also sent the wine steward over. The steward and I agreed on a bottle, it was delivered, the wine appeared and shortly after that our server appeared and we place the order The first real food we saw was 70 minutes after being seated.
After that everything was perfect. Food arrived with appropriate timing, request were quickly filled, help pouring the sparkling wine was timely and the food outstanding.
Spectacular view with outside heated seating on the 54th floor. Can have cocktails outside. Sophisticated restaurant inside and out. Good and creative menu.
Great view! Service was very good. Great place for a nice dinner.
Wonderful dining experience. Great table service and sommelier. Food was excellent, well portioned and reasonably priced for the quality.
Rivea is a beautiful space with a great whiskey list and some interesting mains. The tapas on the menu sounded fun, but all felt a little bland. It was bit loud in the dining room, but it was an impressive space to take a client to dinner. The views are quite spectacular.
This was billed as a casual, quiet (by LV standards) restaurant. Maybe casual by Alain Ducassse standards! Also, casual does not translate to inexpensive (shame on me for assuming that!). We really enjoyed the food and the service. I thought everything was creative and fun and it was on the quieter side (by LV standards). The earlier you go the quieter it is. It is a beautiful restaurant with a great view, but I would not call this "casual."
Loved the view, the food, the service, the wine. Hated the $11.00 bottle of water.
Great food and service at good value. Will definitely go again when next in Vegas.
Food is truly exceptional here though on the pricey side. The risotto (lobster and white truffle) was definitely the best I've had for a long time. The staff was very attentive and sincere. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful in the evenings. Would definitely come here again.
Great experience. Food was outstanding and the service impeccable.
First, the hostess was absolutely snotty for no reason. We showed up at 6:45 for a 7:00 p.m. dinner on a relatively quiet Sunday night. We were told to go wait in the bar as they only seat at reservation time for no apparent reason. When I asked if they would come get us when they were ready to seat us the hostess sharply said no, she would be too busy. The tone and message were both absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable.
Then we were seated in a terrible seat. it seemed as if we were being punished. I accepted the table only because I did not want to create a scene with my friends. Save it for Yelp, one friend said. I should have insisted on seeing the manager to discuss the shabby treatment.
Having said that, the food was top notch and the service was fantastic. We shared small plates and really enjoyed the food. There was a vegetable "cookpot" of fantastic root vegetables. There was a crab cake salad that was wonderful. The veal raviolis were a miss, promptly whisked away and something else was offered. Very professional service and enjoyable food. The $50 corkage fee seemed high. If they could just get the hostess on board then truly five stars.
Excellent food and service as usual. Best view in Vegas
Great night with my family best deserts in las vegas
Delicious meal, outstanding service and gorgeous view - will come back!
My husband and I visited this restaurant on Christmas and we are so happy we did. Of all the fine dining restaurants we have tried in Las Vegas this one has become our new favorite. The food, the service, and the lovely view makes for a perfect romantic evening for that special someone.
My venison was superb! Flavorful and tender, not mealy nor mushy like some farm raised venison. (Note, I'm picky because I grew up on wild game which has more flavor than farm raised IMO.) My mom's veal osso bucco was also mouth wateringly tasty. My husband's John Dory however missed the mark. His fish was dry and the dish was incredibly small... only a couple pieces of fish, 1 prawn, 1 clam. I would suggest skipping this dish and order something else... like the Venison or Osso Bucco.
Great restaurant, excellent service from the host, and the waiters
Rivea at Delano is exceptional. We were very impressed with every aspect of the evening. The breathtaking view from the 64th floor is beautiful. The starters we ordered were the beginning of what became a dining experience. We ordered the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce and the mushroom side which was delicious. Our other entre was the marinated chicken with a variety of vegetables that was excellent. Our server was Lee and he took care of our every need. We will definitely return to Rivea.
Wonderful dining experience from start to finish!!
I took several friends out for drinks at Skyfall and dinner at Rivea, as usual everything was wonderful! I absolutely love the great service in both Skyfall and Rivea,😊
Food is incredible. The bison tenderloin is phenomenal as well as the panisse (chickpea fries)...highly recommend both!
Wonderful! Amazing! The food was perfect and the view goes on forever!!!
Celebrated husband’s 70th birthday! Wonderful meal and great service! The foie gras was the best we’ve had (and we’ve had it in quite a few great restaurants)! Every course in the tasting menu was expertly prepared and well presented. The wine pairing was top notch as well! If you plan to be in Vegas, this is a must visit!
overpriced, no atmosphere. don't spend your money here. better options in Vegas.
Amazing food to go with a perfect sunset view of Vegas strip
No complaints from beginning to end. Lots of attention to detail like not calling me 'Mrs' and getting the wine temperature perfect. Food was fantastic and the restaurant was nice and quiet. Service was spectacular and this was my favorite part.
The waitress had no clue about anything on the menu, plus she mistakenly brought a rose wine instead of champagne rose ,the lobster was chewy and the John Dory was bland.
Lee was an absolutely outstanding server. Very accommodating, very outgoing and made our meal even more special. He suggested the off menu foie gras appetizer which was some of the best foie I’ve ever had. The restaurant is off the beaten path (in the Delano) but the views are absolutely worth the cab ride. Our evening was amazing, request a window table!
The best restaurant. Everything was exceptional.
Wife’s Birthday. Beautiful, delicious food and excellent service!!
The venison with pear was a fantastic stroke of imagination and quite good. However, my husband's scallops had sand in them and the wait staff vasciliated between on distainful and over attentive. While the food was good, the price point was such that I don't think it was worth it. I'm disappointed that Alain Ducasse lent his name to this place, as I don't think it rises to the caliber one would expect from him .
A splendid evening of excellent food, wonderful service and extraordinary view.
A must do anytime in Vegas
get the Buillabase borth, so good
tables on the patio have an amazing view of the strip, request that
So happy I ended up at Rivea. Fantastic view, very good food. I had the tasting menu. It was too much food for me but happy I tried many items. Cocktails were too expensive. $20 for a Manhattan!? Yikes. Great service, great servers.
We had an amazing dinner here. Service was top notch, and other than the jeans the waiters wore it was on par with Guy Savoy but at a much more affordable rate.
Love love the souffle. The foie gras was delicious. The duck was satisfying.
